Robinhood protects their hedge fund buddies by limiting the purchasing of shares. They are the opposite of Robinhood. They steal from the poor and give to the rich.

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!

This past Sunday I noticed $750 loss in my account. I saw a reverse split had occurred but that only accounted for $50, not $750. I screenshot the loss and submitted an email to Robinhood to investigate this matter and to send me any proof showing where the loss occurred. I was unable to find the loss among my stocks. Monday I received an email back only speaking to the reverse splits on my account the past year and they ignored my request about the $750. I resent an email again asking about the $750 loss only to hear back the same type of email response about the reverse splits. I finally emailed back and said I would be contacting my lawyer if they could not provide me with documentation showing where the loss occurred. They emailed me an excel document that can be easily tampered with and it was not on the date of the loss. Robinhood is purposely avoiding the issue and avoiding showing me the proof of where the $750 loss occurred which makes me believe they in fact stole my money and are hoping I either wouldnt notice the loss or id just accept their response. This is unacceptable behavior especially during these economic times to be stealing from their clients. I have reached out to an attorney to now handle this situation and once my funds are settled I will be closing my account with Robinhood. It is in my opinion that they have stolen my money and I am not the first or last person to have this happen. They cater to new investors who do not really know the stock business well and we are easy marks for things like this. Its disgusting behavior and I am hoping my attorney finds proof of misconduct and shuts them down.

The experience with Robinhood has been extremely frustrating leaving a bad taste in my mouth like biting into a steak sandwich only to realize it's moldy bologna. It's pretty simple to transfer funds into your account, and nearly impossible to get them back out. At least, this has been my experience so don't let this happen to you. I suspect they make it SO time consuming and difficult because they want to hold onto your funds as long as possible... like perhaps they're making interest off the cash in your account while they delay in taking action. Gee, they even have a program to earn interest on the cash sitting in your account... hmm, interesting. I'm on week number two in trying to extract all the funds out. They keep asking me for just one more thing and then I'll get my money back... another copy of my ID which they already have on file, more bank statements, etc. you get the idea. FRUSTRATE the customer SO much that they just GIVE UP and leave the funds in the account seems to be the strategy in play here. When I was having these challenges I decided to do a little research of my own. Not only did I find out that Robinhood has very low ratings when it comes to customer service and satisfaction, they were also fined $70 million dollars from FINRA for "widespread and significant" harm on multiple different fronts over the past few years to their customers. Boy have I got an earful to give FINRA when I make my complaint! Then you have the trading fiasco on the GameStop stock where they suspended all trading through their platform. Just google it for more spicy details. Needless to say Robinhood is a platform you want to avoid at ALL COSTS lest it cost you your life. Hey, you think I'm joking here? A 20 year old Robinhood customer actually took his own life in June of 2020 because they inaccurately reported the negative balance in his account by 50%! So save yourself a lot of pain, hassle and grief in dealing with this company. There are much better ones to work with. Trust me, I now know that. My next move is to file my complaint with FINRA and see if I can cause them a fraction of the hassle and inconvenience they have caused me.

First off when it comes to purchasing stocks Robin hood does a good/ok job. However please PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT need a reason to contact support or order the card for cash management. I've ordered the re-issuance of my cash management card TWO MONTHS AGO and HAVE YET to receive my new card (June 18th 2021). OH and support ARE ABSOLUTELY NO HELP they email you once and then say they're going to close your account if you don't reply within a couple of minutes. Your "Buying Power" when you exit your trade/investment isn't available to return to your bank, (at least I wouldn't know because support keeps throwing my cases out the window"). You have to re-invest your buying power balance back into another stock. So the amount you decide to enter into your buying power you better not hope to see that hit your account again. If you decide to open an account SOLELY DO IT TO INVITE CONTACTS TO RECEIVE YOUR FREE STOCKS LITERALLY THE ONE AND ONLY THING THAT'S GOOD ABOUT ROBIN HOOD BUT DO NOT ADD FUNDS TO YOUR ACCOUNT AND DO NOT REGISTER TO RECEIVE YOUR CASH MANAGEMENT CARD AND PLEASE DO NOT NEED A REASON TO CONTACT ROBIN HOOD SUPPORT BECAUSE WHATEVER YOUR ISSUE IS THEY'RE JUST GOING TO THROW IT OUT THE WINDOW AND FORGET ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS BECAUSE ITS YOUR PROBLEM NOT THEIRS. Do your due diligence and find another broker to handle your investment accounts.

The app has a lot of great features but the company itself is shady and has the worst customer service I've dealt with in a long time. They locked my wifes account today and refused to let her withdraw her funds after a transfer was reversed, even though she had enough in her account to cover the transfer reversal. There reason being that the account was locked for "security purposes". The only thing their trying to secure is the interest they collect off floating your cash before depositing it to your account. They have two phone numbers listed, one just says to email them then hangs up on you, the second rings for a little while then goes to a voicemail box asking you to leave a message then stating that they don't check it. They also sell their users trades to high frequency traders and make a TON of money doing it, but can't be bothered creating a web chat or phone line for customer service or let you access your own money.

From an investor standpoint, what they offer is extremely minimal. Candlestick charts for 10 min blocks only, absurd. Very basic charts anyway, No educational resources, very limited news releases, no paper trading, really their only redeeming feature is the cash management. Their trades are also some of the last to go through to be filled, so if you and 10 people from other brokerages put in a limit order at the same time, you're likely to get stiffed because it fills the others first. If you're even a little bit serious about investing, go somewhere else. TD Ameritrade is great, offers no fee trades, options and so much more than what Robinhood offers. If you like the easy mobile app try Webull, again offers the same things and so much more that someone who wants to get serious with investing needs.

PISS POOR COMPANY
August 2, 2021

THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN SUCH A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE FOR ME. I HAVE HAD A TRADING ACCOUNT WITH ALMOST EVERY BROKER. TRYING TO FIND WHICH ONE I LIKE BEST AND BY FAR ROBINHOOD IS THE WORST. MONEY WASN'T ADDING UP IN MY ACCOUNT BUT THEY DON'T PROVIDE ENOUGH TRANSPARENCY REGARDING THEIR USERS ACCOUNT INFORMATION TO VERIFY ANYTHING. SO MY COMPLAINT TO BBB COULDN'T PROCEED. THIS COMPANY HAS NO REAL CONTACT LINE. SO THEY WON'T BE ABLE TO ADDRESS ANY ISSUE YOU MIGHT HAVE REGARDING YOUR ACCOUNT AND WHEN YOU DO GET AHOLD OF SOMEONE THEY WILL ACT LIKE THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO HELP YOU AND SEND YOU TO SOMEONE ELSE. THEY RESTRICTED MY ACCOUNT SO I CAN NOT TRANSFER OUT NOR CAN I WITHDRAW INTO ACCOUNTS THAT ARE IN MY NAME WITH MY SSN. SO THERE SHOULD BE NO ISSUE. NO.
BECAUSE I CONTACTED BBB AND FILED A COMPLAINT THEY RESTRICTED MY ACCOUNT AND WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO HAVE MY MONEY BACK. IT'S A $1616 ACCOUNT THAT THEY ARE STEALING FROM ME AND THE BBB NOR ROBINHOOD SEEMS TO BE DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT. THE RESPONSES I HAVE RECEIVED DON'T ADDRESS ANY OF MY ISSUES. THEY DON'T GIVE ME A TIMELINE ANYTHING. BASICALLY, BLATANTLY STEALING MY MONEY. AND NOT LEAVING ME ANY ROUTE TO TAKE TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. ROBINHOOD HAS STOLEN MY ENTIRE ACCOUNT AND THE BBB NOR ROBINHOOD IS DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

I initiated a full portfolio transfer 01/28. Robinhood initiated the transfer and I could not make any trades as things were being moved.

My portfolio moved, BUT not all of it. Things I sold on Robinhood before the transfer have shown up in my Merrill account BUT at market price which is much higher than the price I paid plus I sold these off completely.

My Robinhood account now shows a margin call and a $5k deficit. My account had a lot in there (for me) and not all of it moved yet Robinhood now says I have a deficit.

Also, I've been locked out from making trades since 01/28. But in Feb 2 I get a notification from Robinhood I've been flagged as a day trader. Then in Feb 3rd Robinhood sends me notifications "congratulations order is complete" and it bought lots of securities that I I'd done before the transfer.

How the heck is this possible I've been locked out since 01/28.

MORE concerning is my account history no longer shows those sales on 01/28, conveniently and I feel Robinhood is broken system is stealing from me and others or losing my finds outright.

I got a "response" to my first inquiry and it was an unacceptable generic automated reply saying go here to learn about logging in. Are you joking me? What kind of financial institution with millions of clients can't reply to a email?

Also for example I sold all 2,300 shares of NAKD I had at avg of $0.46, yet 1000 of that showed up in Merrill but at full market price of over $1.16 per share. What the heck? Plus now I'm not sure if I really own it because you should never sell something twice. This stock is now losing value day over day and I don't know if I really own it since I sold it completely off before initiating the transfer. I have several positions like this. I sold 25 of my 100 shares of PSTH on 01/27 yet there is full 100 shares in my merrilll account? And multiple other securities. IPO I sold 3 shares my entire holding yet that has been transferred to Merrill? Multiple other positions and shares are like this

I've see. This has happened to many people. What the heck is going on? No replies, no help.

I'm very worried, this is all my money they are playing with.
