After charging me for $2.45 for a reasonably looking resume, I found that the following month I was charged an additional amount of $29.95(!).
Apparently the terms and conditions states you're actually subscribing for some additional services on a monthly basis.
The response from the company contained lots of legal terms that from what I understood simply explain how they managed to "get" me and get away with it.
It also explained that I was getting the response after they carefully checked my customer file, but it appears the conveniently missed the fact I had zero interaction with any of their services during that time, and of course did not offer to refund me for the excessively high charge.
I'd highly recommend you engage with any other alternative service providers that follow more ethical practices.

Beware of this company! If I could give zero stars, I would. Resume Coach is a complete scam. I never knowingly signed up for any service, yet they have been repeatedly charging my credit card every month without my authorization. I never agreed to a subscription, and certainly never approved these shady charges. This is the kind of deceptive practice that preys on unsuspecting people, hoping they won't notice the recurring charges. Well, I noticed — and I've already reported it to my credit card company and filed a dispute. What's worse? There's no clear way to cancel, no real customer service, and no accountability. Just a money-grab disguised as a helpful "resume tool." Avoid this company at all costs! They are not trustworthy, and based on my experience, they're running a subscription scam. I'll be taking further action through consumer protection agencies as well. On top of all that they refused to compensate, leaving me no recourse but to dispute with my credit card company and I will be escalating this to the Better Business Bureau, the FTC, and my state attorney general—and you should too.
