“New Vice President, New Directions, 100% Refunded”

This company has had its issues in the past with many customers, me being one of them. However, after 5 year, the new vice president of the company contacted me to correct the issue. I was issued a full refund for my situation. I am completely grateful that Mr. Ojeda reached out to me to show me something that I had not seen from this company in 5 years, that he cares about my opinion and about me as a customer. Thank you Mr. Ojeda for correcting my issue and I wish you all the best in your new position.

Inadvertently booked a Super 8 through Reservation.com. When I realized my mistake, I went to the Super 8 site and got the same room for $10 per night cheaper. I called Reservation.com and was told I could cancel but they had a non-refundable 19.99 service charge. Total scam, don't use them!

If there was ever a bad experience to be had biking a hotel, this was the worst. They took the reservation and gave false information about the hotel. After trying to cancel, they were to email me back in 2-3 days. Didn't hear from the company. No surprise, they don't have a clue as to what they are doing. Bad idea to ever use this company for anything, unless you gave money to throw away. They couldn't care less about their customers, just their money. They made that quite clear.

BEWARE! Check your map app to make sure it isn't reservations.com 3rd party to make reservation! What a nightmare! I tapped the Westin Downtown Dallas icon on my maps app. Made my reservation online and discovered too late I made it for the wrong hotel. I immediately called to report my mistake and get the correct hotel. They refused to give me back any money and I called 5 minutes after making reservation. They did not care about the mistake! Credit card company said no problem disputing the charges because this happens often!

Tip for consumers:
Check to make sure it is refundable in case of mistake or bad service!

I have been dealing with them for three months about a refund they promised me. Customer Service is a laugh. They tell me the Billing Department is working on the issue. Can I speak to the Billing Department? No, they do not accept calls, and are available only via email.

This site should be prosecuted for ineptness or criminality.

Do not book through this site. It is not a legitimate site for booking hotels or anything. This site popped up when trying to book a hotel room in directly from the Canadian hotel company and it appears to be the hotel company's booking site. It doesn't have any indication on the booking screen that are referring to US$ currency unless perhaps its in the extremely fine print. According to my credit card company, they don't even book the hotel, they used Expedia in my case.
I cancelled this reservation immediately once I got a confirmation email from them which clearly indicated the funds were in US$. It also included a ridiculous tax amount, not sure what they based that on.
So I tried to cancel it directly using their phone number but they wouldn't refund their "Service Fee" and after some discussion they just hung up on me. I had to cancel the hotel charge on their website and am disputing their service fee through my credit card company who stated "they will have my back"

It's a scam website (business...?)
They tack on a Service fee, currency is in US$ even though the hotel is in Canada and at the same price in Canadian $ so it leads you to believe its a legit booking agency, which it is not

If I could give them a negative score I would. This company is a total scam. We booked a room for $98 knowing that there would be taxes added. No where on the booking site did it disclose the taxes and fees until we booked our room. We were shocked to get a final total of $158.72. There was a $19.99 service fee just for using their imposter site. I thought I was on the hotel's website but was somehow rerouted to reservations.com without knowing it as the website looked the same. Our receipt from the hotel showed a total of $113.68 yet reservations.com charged us $138.73 plus the seperate fee of $19.99 for using their fradulant site. When I called to find out what the extra $25.05 taxes and fees were, customer service had no explanation. NEVER USE THIS SITE IT IS A TOTAL SCAM.

I booked 2 nights at a motel. It was supposed to be $65 a night. I realized taxes would be added but after pushing the booking button, receipt popped up saying my credit card was charged $199. I thought I was on the motel's booking site and not sure how I ended up on Reservations.com. I called the motel and was told their record showed the cost as $142. So I called Reservations.com to cancel because I felt they were deceptive about their hidden costs. Even though it had only been about 5 minutes after booking, I was told it would cost $80 to cancel. This is a very user UNFRIENDLY site. I feel totally scammed. Their confirmation email actually said if I cancelled before April 3 at 1:00 am, the reservation would be fully refundable. That would be difficult because the reservation was made at about 10 pm on April 3! Unbelievable!

Thought I was reserving 2 hotel rooms turns out they are prepaid and now cannot be cancelled 45 days before needed. I remember the old days when you could call a hotel and reserve a room now they tell you you have to reserve online and you get scammed. Do NOT use reservations.com they are scam artists

Update, they did the right thing and they say they will refund me, shows integrity and thats how I judge them now. They have done the right thing and i have learned to pay closer attention when reserving a room.

This company buys ads so that when you try to call the hotel direct they come up first on google this is not a big deal. However, what they do is allow you to book non-refundable hotels, cars, etc. In my case, I got the hotel and they had no rooms so I had to find another place to stay. The hotel said this was a common problem with reservations.com. You will not get a refund from the hotel and getting a refund from reservations.com is very unlikely. You will need to fight hard to get this money back. This company is a complete scam they charge you for booking that you may not be able to get and you will not get a refund. Avoid this company at all costs and be very careful when you call the reservation line of any hotel because chances are its this company hijacking the hotels number. 100% Scam!

They are scammers! I was booking a room for $123 a night total of $738 and I put my credit card info in and I received a receipt that said $1,254.79 and they charged my card immediately. There was no explanation before putting in my credit card information of any extra charges and there was none on the receipt either. I immediately called and cancelled my reservation and they gave me a hard time with cancelling and prolonged the call for no reason. Then told me that my cancellation# is the same as my reservation# and that it will take 7 to 10 days to go through before my card is credited and that it will take 24 hours before I receive a confirmation email - complete scam! Usually you would get an email immediately and it would not take 7 to 10 days for them to cancel it. I have no trust that this company will do the right thing. I immediately called my credit card company and put them on alert. I will continue to monitor this as they will not be paid this money. Be aware!

Poorest customer service I have ever experienced. I booked on-line and as a result of a misdirection ended up dealing with this horrible company. I thought that I was on the hotel site but was somehow, without notice sent to this "third party" reservation service. As a result of a keystroke error or reservations.com error the booking was made in the wrong hotel city. I did not realize until the confirmation was received with the company no refund policy. I called to make a change in the reservation and all I got was a recitation of the contracted policy. The hotel company was very apologetic but could offer no assistance since it was a Third Party reservation. Do NOT use this company for reservations. And be careful when on-line not to be directed to this Third Party.

You are not informed of no refund if you cancel until the reservation is completed. They also charge a service fee. You think you are saving money but when you get the final total it cost you more. Never again.

I didn't even know I booked with reservations.com as I never heard of them before. Booked for two nights but got sick and needed to cancel the next. They said I had to talk to the owner of the hotel to get a refund. But I booked with you. Definitely will check and recheck that Im not using them EVER!

Ordered 1 room for 3 people, was double charged on a feed that was never disclosed to me. It was never returned. Then no refund available. Finally upon arrival the second bed in the room was charged again. In total the reservation came to 80% higher than a regular hotel room with a trustworthy company. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

They trick people by nice price, then charge big service fee. When you find it out and wanna cancel it. It's non-refundable! They don't put " non-refundable" on the price page as other decent traveling sites. They use a very light blue, small sentence under and you have to click it to see the details. Usually, people will ignore it and believe it's refindable because other sites always use big word to remind you it's non-refundable, but this site does not! They use this way to earn high service fee. This will be my first time and last time to use this worst traveling site! I hate it!

I Made a cancelation, Then I found out my loved one has cancer. So I cancelled 6 days prior to the booking date. They said we can not cancel unless you have the name and job title of the hotel employee. Which of course you don't have because you made the booking through them... then they use 7 days to review the claim so they conveniently deny it the day after the night you were supposed to stay in the hotel. Absolute rip off... DONT USE!

I clicked on the link that looked like it was going directly to the hotel... it wasn't until I confirmed the booking that I realized it was through a third-party system. My bad, I was in a hurry and didn't look closely enough at all the details. However, as soon as I realized my mistake, I immediately called them to cancel my booking and they just quoted their rhetoric about their cancelation policy being non-refundable... so sad that a genuine mistake can be made, or that plans actually change (we booked a month in advance) and there's no way to get our money back. Lesson learned I guess... double and triple check everything before clicking. Sigh. Very disappointed with humanity sometimes.

Thought we were booking directly w Red Roof Inn for $71 night for 2 nights
Tax in NY State is supppsed to be 13% but Reservation.com charged us over $50 tax for the 2 nights plus a $19 reservation fee
They cannot break down the high tax when you call them This seems illegal to me
So it almost tripled our bill for inexpensive motel stay
Do not use this business.Booking.com only charges the correct tax rate w No fees

They are cheater. Charged me almost double what was paid to the hotel. When I contacted customer service. They refused to refund me by saying it is against their policy. I have the receipt from the hotel. Don't trust them. Whatever they are promising is opposite to what they are doing. We should file a complain about the websites like this. They should be blocked.

Tried to book a room online, their site took my cc info and then denied my booking with a pop up that said "We cannot complete your booking at this time" then prompted me to call an agent.
I called but ended up NOT booking anything as their price quote was $300 over the hotel's actual price for the room.
The next day I was charged fraudulently 2 separate amounts on my card. Reported them to my bank. They asked me to screen shot my bank statement and send to their support… NO confirmation of "booking" email and the agent was trying to tell me it was a hold fee? For a room I didn't book….wtf? DO NOT USE THIS SITE!

Sometimes I accidentally get on this site because they sort of pretend they are the hotel. The last time this happened, I needed to cancel my reservation which was for over $1000 for 3 nights. I called the hotel and found out that there was a special rate for the function which I was attending. This was less than an hour after I made the reservation on reservations.com.

Can you believe it? I made a reservation and less than an hour later they charged me $61.00 to cancel.
Also, they never sent me a receipt for the $61.00. So no way to charge this to a business expense.

This is one of the worst companies to deal with. Their website is misleading. And change my reservation. I called 1 min after making the reservation, was on hold for 2 hours, and requested a callback. I emailed them and called again. Very sad. For them to say "Oh well, your bad."

Traveling to PA for funeral. Made reservation thru this entity for 10/18-10/20 thinking I was going to Hampton Inns and Suites on 9/27 realized that this was wrong Hotel when discussing with family. Immediately attempted to cancel and called motel directly. Was advised they would cancel on their end but since reservation was with 3rd party would have to cancel with Reservations.com. Went on line and cancelled and printed cancellation notice dated 10/3. Cancellation notice stateses refund within 10-15 days. Now 10/27 and no refund to credit card. Called and was addvised reservation not refundable. Will dispute charge with credit card. THIS IS A SCAM

I booked a room across Disneyland. I thought I was booking through the hotel. Didn't know it was with reservations.com until I got the confirmation. Found out Disneyland didn't have tickets for sale so canceled 2 hours later! After a few days they only refunded me $287 out of my original $1470 amount. Basically when I called they couldn't help! Said cancelation was supposed to be made 5 hours "before" I even made the reservation to qualify for refund. Liars! They are trying to make it look like it is the "hotels" rules but I called hotel. They didn't even receive any of the money! So reservation.com gets $1190 for booking my reservation for 2 hours before canceling. And they also get their $19.99 service fee! This company are a bunch of thieves! And…. Reservations.com hung up on me when I was trying to explain!

They made it look like I was booking on Marriotts website. It did not show me a proper break down before hitting payment- then I quickly realized it was for 2 suites not 1. I immediately called Marriott when they told me it was booked through a third party site. 2 hours later and I am on hold awaiting if they will not charge me a cancelation fee. They keep saying that it is Marriott requesting stuff-when I spoke with Marriott directly and they said that reservations.com can easily cancel it without there approval, the woman said tell them to call me directly. Marriott cannot cancel it- reservations.com must. So they are just putting me on hold unnecessarily. How frustrating, I willl NEVER book with them again. I will keep my reservations to calling directly to the hotel and ensuring they are the official hotel I am speaking with. 0/5 rating

Tip for consumers:
Book directly with Hotel. You will get the best service. I could have had this changed within 2 minutes if it was a direct booking not through a third party. They also were charging more than the hotels rates.

I was tricked into booking with this company. I was told I was booking directly with the hotel. I made a review on this site and they emailed me and told me they would refund the hotel and the fee. I received a check for the hotel however they did not receive a refund the 14.99 like they said they would. This company is a complete scam and perpetrates fraud on the American consumers. I cannot wait for someone to start a class action lawsuit against them. It will happen sooner or later. And when it does please include me on that lawsuit.
