Not an ipad 2 mini screen! Poor customer service and sent me the wrong part 3 times and still after I had to pay $13 to return it to them they still kept send the part back and inaccordance to the own policy it was unused and plastic was still on the screen. I paid $46 + for the part. But not only that time I also ordered from them before the part fell apart but I figured I would give them a second chance. Don't fall for this bull$#*!...

Universe for a replacement, at then end of this review is the exact content of their email, they want a used item returned in perfect condition, no scratches, damage or adhesive of any kind! Before they'd send a new one! Completely unrealistic for a phone screen! So I've have to disassemble the phone, send in the screen (leaving the phone disassembled while I wait for a return) I asked it they could send me the new one and I'd then send the old one and I was told: Please note upon placing your order you automatically agreed to the terms and conditions. Hiding behind T&C's is the lowest of the low. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Please note: The part must be in brand new condition. No damage, adhesive or scratches of any kind. The part must have our supplier tattoo.

They did not advise their intentions before unnecessarily curtailing part of an order, and then refused to discuss it. When trying to "chat" which was in no way rude, they reiterated a policy which need not have been enacted, and rather than discussing it, they ended the chat point blank. I would certainly not recommend them to anyone after this experience.

Tip for consumers:
They do not communicate, but arbitarily make decisions, and notify you afterwards. When challenged, they decide it's rude, and close the query, and during a "Chat" which was in no way rude, after reiterating a policy they just ended the chat without any opportunity to extract any common sense out of them.
I am trying not to let my anger affect my comments, but I would certainly never recommend them to anyone.

DO NOT ORDER from this website. Save yourself the time and money. I had the screen in my phone for ONE week. It stopped working completely one day. I contacted the customer service (online since no one would answer the phone) and they told me I would need to ship it back for a replacement. (you have pay to ship the DEFECTIVE screen back) So I ship it back. A week and a half later I haven't heard anything so I contact someone on the website again. I get an email back stating that an email was sent Dec. 19,2019 (I did not get this email at all) and that the return could not be processed because there were "scratches on the screen". There were NONE. I had the entire screen covered the one week it was used. It was defective, so now this "thousands of five-star ratings" company has my money, the screen I payed for, and I have been without a phone for nearly three weeks. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, HORRIBLE PRODUCTS, STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.

This company uses a misleading website -intentionally or not- that tricks consumers into buying the wrong product then charges the customer to return the product and adds up a restocking fee. I am a computer engineer, I followed the link provided by their website to purchase an LCD for my phone and it clearly offered only one option that I can buy with no mention of a model number. I received the wrong LCD and I lost $20 for restocking fee and shipping the part back. They need to refine their website, so future customers will have faith shopping there again.

Failed to deliver - appalling customer service. Package sat in courier's van for two weeks with no attempt to deliver. Customer service refused to chase, and chose to believe courier's story that the address was incorrect which was, or course, untrue. I now have to wait for the refund which they will only give once the goods are returned to them by - guess who? - the dishonest courier!

VERY UNSATISFIED! Order the wrong part because of their misleading ad on google and now they don't want to refund me the money after receiving the product back.

The chat customer service promised they will look into it and will email me back by the end of the day. 3 days later, they still haven't said anything so I contacted them again. After a brief chat, I was told that they will not give me a refund because the item arrived later than 30 days. However, their email stated "Please postmark your package no later than February 14,2021 or your return cannot be accepted" it was postmarked Feb 13. And they received it on the 18th.

I requested a refund that the agent stopped replying and kicked me out of the chat. So unprofessional.

Additionally, I paid for 2-day delivery and revived in 4.

Tip for consumers:
Make sure you triple-check before ordering from them. Their ads are misleading and you won't get your money back.

Received defective part. Repairs Universe evaluated the part that I returned at my own expense. They acknowledged the defect and issued a refund minus a 15% restocking fee. I'm not sure why they would be restocking a defective part. I suppose they will ship it to they next customer so they can make another 15% restocking fee. What a racket.

HORRIBLE COMPANY, HORRIBLE PRODUCTS, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. This company sent me a defective screen for my IPhone X. The screen worked great for just about 48 hours, then the screen went dead. The phone still worked (I could hear text messages being received and phone calls). I contacted them and sent the screen back. During shipping it apparently (according to them) became cracked. They are now stating they will give me a refund of $7 (screen was $70) and will no longer return my phone calls or emails. Buy from anywhere else!

Received Ipad replacement screen without adhesive. I called requesting expedited adhesive, they then sent Iphone adhesive non-expedited. I called, they said would call back and did not. I called for refund, they said I would have to pay shipping. I still don't have advertised product and now have to pay shipping to return it. Unacceptable.

Horrible product, when I received the screen I had dead pixels down the middle so I took pictures of the defective product and returned it for a replacement. Upon RepairUniverse receiving my return they sent me a message back saying that I sent them a broken screen and that they will not reimburse or replace the defective product. So I lost $190 for nothing.

On 1/11/2023 I ordered a smartphone camera lens assembly which was later found to have micro scratches on camera lens during attempted installation. When I contacted Repairs Universe and asked for an RMA, I was advised that under their return policy, I would have to pay the return postage. Furthermore, I would only be refunded the cost of part itself, not the original shipping fee. I have never in my life, experienced such an outrageous rip-off by an online retailer who would not provide a FULL refund (and an apology), including shipping costs for their own defective merchandise. I intend to also post this on FB and as well, and I have made a note in my cell phone to never deal with "Repairs Universe", nor their apparent supplier "Fixez.com".

I bought oled screen for a XS. On white screens you can see lines in it. So something was off with the screen but I was gonna love with it. Literally dropped one time in my case that I've had for years and this screen cracked. Definitely not a good quality screen.

Stay away from these people! I searched for a Galaxy tab a screen on their website. A Galaxy tab screen popped up and I ordered it. When I got it it didn't fit. They only refunded me for the screen, refused to pay shipping. I sent the tools back, they kept them, but didn't refund my money. They could care less about their customers. Before ordering you better read ever little thing (including the fine print). They are all about taking the money.

Supposedly OEM battery for my LG G2 left my phone unable to power up. Immediately upon powering up, phone shuts down with error message about battery overheating.
Closer inspection of the battery sent by Repairs Universe - LG logo covered by black tape, and a smeared ink stamp that may have read "fail". In any event, it did fail. In the worst possible way.

Do NOT order anything from these thieves! I paid $9.98 extra for USPS First Class Mail because I wanted to receive my order in 1-3 days. Which is the stated delivery time for first class mail. Instead these idiots shipped it via UPS Innovation. Which is slightly faster than pony express. It took 9 days for me to receive my order. I did an online chat to find out why I did not receive the shipping method that I paid for and was told that I had to email customer service. I tried to call their phone number and there was no option to speak to anyone in customer service.
So I emailed them and told me that USPS First Class mail is 7-12 transit days. Which is a complete lie. I use USPS First Class mail regularly and I have never had any problems with transit times. They refused to answer follow up email when I continued to ask for an explanation. I am done with these crooks.

I've been a long time customer with these people until this one last experience just did me in. I'm going to go into details so be aware, but these people ripped me for a screen and my money. I sent a defective part back that was tested to be "just fine" and I knew it wasn't because after I shipped the iPhone screen back I went ahead a purchased another display so I could fix the lady's phone while the defective one was going through the return process, and I put the new display in the phone and it worked perfectly. After sending the display back they emailed me with the test results and then I asked them to retest the screen because I knew for a fact that it was faulty and I never heard anything else from the company again. I contacted them back a while later via phone and the "customer service manager" listened to my issue but then placed me on hold for about 10 mins and then came back on the phone and told me that the defective screen was shipped back and then I proceeded to ask him if he could provide proof of shipment and then he beat around the bush with a bunch of bull$#*!. I told him that I never received the screen and they have my money still and he told me that the screen was shipped out and I continued fighting with him over the fact that there is no proof of shipment and I never received an email with information stating that it was shipped or even being sent back. After demanding that I need my money or screen back the manager proceeded to tell me it's to difficult of a process and I just simply stated "I'll make it easy for you, I'll just take my damn business somewhere else" and then hung up the phone.

This manager was a complete douche and did not hold a strong backbone for the companies customer service view point at all. I was never offered my money or Defective display back so I'm out both. And I was basically called a f***** liar in the process.

And this is for you RU:
I'm taking my business to mobile defender where the warranty process is not a pain in the $#*! and the customer support is 5 starts vs sub zero with you people. And they provide top quality parts vs parts with a 60% defective rate. And to the customer service manager I hope for the sake of the company you learn that your team may have possibly made a mistake vs arguing with a customer about the proof of shipment that never existed. And the fact that the customer may not always be wrong in situations where your team may have just $#*!ed up somewhere in the process.

Received part deferent from offered. After requesting a full refund including cost of return they changed item's description and refused pay for return. They charged almost nine $ for shipping. My return back cost was $3.64.

You pay for shipping to get your part, and if it is a non working part, you have to pay for shipping to give it back and get a refund just for the part. So their mistake and you end up paying. BETTER GET IT OF EBAY OR AMAZON!

You can buy parts from here, but don't let them repair your device. This is because if something goes wrong with the repair, they won't refund you even for the part that they used.

In my case I send over my phone because I drop my phone and screen broke. So, then they return the phone back to me and there was two issues: 1-the screen was not properly glue down. 2-there was a dead zone in the screen. So this tells me that they did not check my device properly before it left. So I decided to just return the screen and get a refund.
Once I return the device, they told me they check the screen and it works and so they can not refund me any money.
Then they want me to pay the shipping cost to return the screen back to me.
So clearly there is something going on with the phone.
Now I just lost $70 for them not to fix my phone and I have to keep another $70 screen even though it did not fix my issue on the phone. So am down $140 right now.

In conclusion, this company only want to take your money, but if they screw up they will not refund you at all.

Received parts promptly but after installing found them to be defective, support was not available. Do not use this company they don't test thier products and will do nothing to make it right. Typical of scammers!

When I received the screen it was broken, the wires that were suppose to be connected to the screen were detached. The packaging didn't show signs of damage I followed the process the company laid out by taking pictures of the package, and the condition of the screen, wires etc. I printed and filled out the form they required and spent more money to send th defective product back to Repair Universe. This process took 2 months! At first they couldn't find the delivered package. Then, when they found it and saw the detached wires they accused me of cutting the wires! THEY REFUSED TO REFUND MY MONEY OR SEND ME ANOTHER SCREEN! How does a Business that handles their customers this way stay in business? My issue is still not resolved. They said their decision is final. So They Took my money and dont get the screen I paid for!

Stay away!! I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW THIS COMPANY HANDLES BUSINESS! I've never been handled this way before as a customer! If you pay, you may be throwing your money away. DON'T SAY YOU WEREN'T WARNED!
