Race Mart has over $16 million in available inventory so you don't have to wait to receive premuim auto parts for racers. Their prices are reasonable and fair for the quality you are getting. Thier motto is "quality is not an accident".

Two months later, still haven't received anything. He will fabricated an invoice stating your order is a special order item even though your original will not state that. I actually filed a BBC complaint, he resposponed by attaching an invoice with the phrase special order on it, when it clearly wasn't on mine, and stated it would ship in a few days, They closed the compliant unresolved. Ordered the part on March 06 2015 it's is now May 07 2015. Still no part, parts total over $1100 dollars. I was forced to by from another vender got them to in 5 days. Worst business ethics ever, it's not about the customer, it's about him taking your money. He will not contact you with any apologies or even when your ship dates comes and goes, you have to inquire why your order has not shipped.

This customers name is not Chris L. It's Ray Wemple. This is the real story.

The customer placed an order for a Special Order Fabtech Shock set. The item is clearly defined in the item description as a non-stock Special Order Product https://www.race-mart.com/Fabtech-FAB-FTS800511.html. The shocks are scheduled to ship next Friday.

At checkout the customer acknowledged in writing that he read, understood and accepted our Terms of Sale which includes our Special Order Policy. https://www.race-mart.com/Terms-and-Conditions_ep_2-1.html It states:

“By placing a special order, you are accepting the fact that the delivery time is not defined and you are accepting the delivery time regardless of what it is. You also recognize that in most cases we have absolutely no control over the delivery time is as it is dictated by the manufacturer who often change production dates. Once placed, all special orders are non-cancelable and non-returnable. If for any reason you are uncomfortable with this policy, please do not place an order for a special order item.”

"Special Orders are not So Special

Ordered a part on a Monday with 2 day shipping so I would have by Friday so I could tow a trailer I rented for the weekend. I received a tracking number that said my shipment was sent. Then when I check the tracking number the following day it says that it is on it's way to Vermont! So I call their customer service and they proceed to tell me they mixed up the orders and they were sorry they sent the wrong tracking number. So I explain I need the part by Friday - will that be a problem? The fellow I talked to said no, you ordered it in enough time and based on your order it will be there by Friday. So the next day I get another email that has the same exact tracking number as the item that went to VT, but now it's on its way to my address, but will not arrive until Tuesday. Wait - I need it Friday and was assured it would be there by then. So I emailed back to cancel the order because on Thursday I found a company that would send it overnight to be at my home by Friday. The SPECIAL ORDER cop out is dumb. If you order from this company make sure you have a lawyer on retainer to read all the pages of fine print. There is nothing special about it. The company has no customer service skills or compassion. If you do order from this company, use American Express so if you are dissatisfied you can dispute the charge and they will credit your account. They have a horrible rating on the BBB! It seems like they love disputing all of thier horrible reviews on various websites. Maybe if they paid more attention to shipping and quality control instead of responding to all of the one-star ratings then maybe the BBB would recognize them as a credible company."
