Misrepresentation/lousy service by quikr doorstep

Quikr used to be useful to sell products. At one time. They used to have packages that made sense and customer care that followed some logic. Not anymore.

I bought a premium package online a few weeks back-I wanted to sell off some household furniture as we might be moving soon. Quikr customer care contacted me as soon as I posted my ad, offering a premium package. But i wanted to take some time to see the response before deciding to spend money. In a couple of weeks, I decided to try out their package.

1. It is weird how on the website the package might say Rs 499, but when you actually go to buy it, it is Rs 599. No explanation on why they can't provide correct information on the page.
2. They show ads about premium packages at up to 80% discount. There isn't even a 40% discount when you actually go in to check it out.
3. The online package, if you buy it, for example, at Rs 599, which I did, advertises your properly by showing it higher in search ONLY in the locality where you are based, and therefore where it was posted earlier. It does not extend visibility to the whole city.
This is something they miss mentioning when you are spending the money.
4. They will not allow you to edit your ad-in case you want to change description of asking price, or any detail, post 5 days of posting the ad. Never mind that you have paid Rs 600 just to make life easier for you. This is also not mentioned on the page when you buy. On asking the customer care why this is so, she just said 'the site clearly mentions that terms and conditions apply'. Really? Don't they have a responsibility to actually clearly specify these things somewhere?
5. Anyway, their response time is also quite sad, I sent in some scathing feedback after I got absolutely no leverage out of my premium posting, and someone called me back.

This is how it went:
They said that they don't have access to online ads, and can't change anything in there. I shouldn't have bought the ad online, even though the facility is provided there (how was I supposed to know that there was a magical obstacle that prevented ppl from providing the same facilities for ads bought online?). Therefore despite being charged in full, my ad was visible only to ppl in my locality. To make it visible to the buyers in the whole city, I needed to pay through an agent. AGAIN. I protested. I had already spent good money. Could they just do a refund since I hadn't really received service?

I was told that for this reason, the customer service calls us right after the ad is posted, to offer a premium package. If I buy it online, they can't help me. (Then why offer the online/ecommerce buying facility? Just take it off? OR you can't resist the chance of making some good money off the earlier brand you have developed, never mind that honest paying customers are not getting services?)

They told me that the only way they could help me was that if I bought 3 more ads from them (I had admitted I had more stuff to sell). Then they could include the premium package for the original ad in that, and justify giving me one ad free with 3 more ads. Again, never mind that I had already paid for the 1st one in good faith and gotten zilch for it. And they would give me a small discount as well. So, I should spend Rs 1350 more to get any benefit out of the first 599 that I had already spent.

I asked to speak to a supervisor, someone higher up, I was denied access, This person was the one in charge of my case, and there could be no more escalation.

I tried in 5 different ways, to tell her to put herself in my shoes, and tell me why I should throw good money after bad, and trust them when I had got zero service and results for the 1st Rs 599. Without a hint of apology, I was repeatedly told that they understood my point, but this was they only way she could help me.

Really? So basically this is what you're saying:
"I know you didn't get service for the 1st Rs 599 you spent, but the only way I can help you now is if you spend Rs 1800 more, I am sweetening the deal by getting you one ad free with 4 more (never mind that I have already paid for that ad) and by giving you some discount. You should be grateful to me for that. "

This is crap. I have been a fairly loyal customer in the past, but you just lost my business. I sold 6 pieces of furniture using my network of friends and whatsapp groups.

I of course wrote to quikr in indignation. They couldn't be bothered to respond. At all. Mail attached.

I am never going to quikr again. They don't even have the grace to empathise/apologize about the scammers/fraudsters that are now frequenting the site these days, offering people QR codes for payment and instead of paying, extracting money from innocent, unsuspecting sellers. Not sure Quikr is being much better than these scammers their site is hosting.

Got charged Rs. 20000

I'm writing for the second time for my concern that is not yet resolved even by Mr. Raghu from the head office.

One Mr. Raju bearing mobile number *******359 and Mr. Yadgiri *******811 have fooled me with a wrong commitment of an exclusive Deep cleaning package for my company registered in the name of DIGITRONICS, hyderabad with registered mobile number *******232.

I have already purchased another package for Rs. ******* in the month of June with my mobile number *******100 for basic cleaning and this gentleman Mr. Raju started chasing me for sales during October and came to my office on the last working day of October pleading me for 3 hours to take an EXCLUSIVE DEEP CLEANING PACKAGE(not shared) for leads marked above Rs. 3000 and has made me pay Rs. ******* and said the pack would get activated next morning or maximum by the following day.
When the verification team called me and asked me if i have purchased a basic cleaning pack, i refused saying it's a deep cleaning package(exclusive) and 200 leads are promised(minimum 5 leads a day).

Then Raju called me the day later requesting me saying YOU PLEASE SAY OK FOR BASIC CLEANING SIR and once your package is activated I and Mr. Yadgiri will change the keyword to Deep cleaning and above Rs. 3000 in 2 hours time.

I refused again saying; what if you leave the company tomorrow? I need a written email. He kept on pleading me and convinced me somehow. And when the same person Raghu from the verification team called me, i said OK for basic cleaning thinking they will change the keyword immediately.

I already had 270-280 leads on my other company Scrubble registered with mobile number *******100. Why would i buy another pack for basic cleaning?

Since then, both of them are not answering calls or replying to the msgs. Raghu from the verification team who called me after my last email complaint last week also has stopped responding.

I have paid quikr ******* in the last 4 months only for a leads package. I hope you will resolve this at the earliest or we will have to go legal on this and all the charges will have to be borne by the company.

I didn't want to take this to media thinking of your reputation and your so called managers here in Hyderabad.

Expecting a positive response by EOD.

Worst customer care support Quikr

If some on asks me which customer care support is worst in world i can say that it's "Quikr". Yes Quikr is one of the worst customer care support i never compare with others.

You guys wont take proper requirement from the customer and wont update in the ticket also. The pick up has schedule fro my product 3 times and it has been cancelled due to stupid reasons. And there is no track alos

Incident 1: It has been scheduled 6:00 Pm to 8:00 Pm and no one called me and came for pickup, i was waiting at home expecting that some one will call me and come for pickup, and i was keep on calling customer care like a full other end the guy will reply that, "Sir they will come sure you wait till 9:00 PM", after 9:00 pm when it's connected to customer care, he negligibly told that u r scheduled pickup has update with no data. When i asked how? Then there is no proper response.

Incident 2: It has been scheduled 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Thank god this time finally they came at 10:00 AM, after seeing my cart they told that we need two more helper persons to pickup, i told that no one informed me about this and even i have told all the details to customer care executive while scheduling my pickup, he has also not told anything to me,, again after discussing with customer care they canceled the pickup and they have rescheduled to today (1/09/2017) and i have told them this time i required 2 helpers.

Incident 3: It has been scheduled 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM today (Saturday), the pickup person called me and told he will come around 8:00 PM, i told them saying that i have opted for two more person for lifting my cart, he told that that's not mentioned (i am not sure how come that miss from my ticket, Is the tracking system of quikr is that bad to capture all the details, are management is not worried about quality), but he told we will try manage it sir, the time has come, i am waiting at home like a full for this people, they have not called me and pickup guy is not ready to pickup my call also, after calling lot of time i fed off up calling him. Again i left with any option i call great customer care. As Expected answer from them Sir. They will surely come today and pickup the item. I was hoping he will come and collect the item. After waiting lot of time around 8:45 pm he called me and started saying that Sir can u send me the pics of cart so that i will check if i we can pickup it up today. I left with any option and i sent photos. Again same story started saying we both can't pickup the item, u call the customer care and inform the same and raise fresh request with two helper, so that tomorrow other people come and pickup it. This has happens at 8:55,

Hear i want appreciate dedication and punctuality of the Customer care support, sharp 9:00 pm they will close it, as i have only five minutes left, i keep on calling them, no response. As it's already crossed 9:00 PM, after that i was able to her favorite message.

I promise that i won't suggest any one to use quikr in feature, as of now i have to go with you guys as i am left with option. I am not sure when my item will be picked it up

I hope at least after seeing this mail management will realize and take some necessary option.

Quikr cheated to me

I have see one ad in Qukir and after that made payment to quikr.
After that i have given call to quikr before pickinng call please check properly.
Ensure that it should be iphone only.
But they haven't checked send to me.
I got product, i have checked it. Its an clone product.
I have informed to delivery guy, i don't want this. But that guy told have word with customer care they will arrange return pick up.
I have given call to them, they told, we will keep payment on hold.
I have given call couple of times, whether money has on hold or not.
I kept conference call with seller and Customer care executive (John).
Seller accepted, he sent wrong product to me.
We came to conclusion as i am going to send the product in courier service and then quikr executive will refund my money back.
Afte that i got call, i got call like money has been release to him.
I have given call john, he is saying keep the product with you only.
They kept on hold but automatically money got released to seller.

Here i want to know like " what's the purpose of holding the money"

Total i have paid ******* with syncNscan Warranty

I have Seller numbers, i have tried to reach him.
He picked the call once only, conveyed the everything to him.
After that he is not picking up the call, I have his numbers
*******253, *******427.

I got call from Quikr, they are saying we cannot help you on this.

Quikr made made wrong but they are making fool.

While discussing on the issue, they have disconnected call.

I have asked one question to the executive.
I will keep Iphone 7 plus description on the post and i will send Nokia 1100 phone to the buyer.
In this case Buyer will send money before receiving product in this case product got delivered and so they are not responsible on this.

This is happened to me.

I have bought Iphone 6s 64 gb rose gold but i got chain phone with 5 gb capacity.

If its happened to any of the quikr team, will you accept it.

So you guys main concern is product delivery only, what product got delivered is not responsible.

Need for proper response.

Its not small amount to loose its very huge amount for me.

Today i have given call to the quikr car.
I have asked status for this issue.
They are saying now, i didn't told to keep the money on hold.

Hope these guys are making very easy way of cheating.

I have asked multiple questions but only one answer, they are giving.

I will keep ad as Iphone but i will send some dummy product. As per terms once product got delivered to buyer.
They will not care about buyer. Once delivered, they initiate payment to seller.

This is the conclusion told to me.

What is this... So as per them.
Always buyer will be the looser in Quikr.
They will not bother anything for buyer.

These are the discussions happened till now could you please me on this.
