I had the same experience every other complainer did. I signed for some sort of "free" trial and then these bastards started charging me $39.95 on my credit card. I now have to cancel my credit/bank card, get another one, and order my bank to block any further payments. Is there no way of getting a class action suit going against these scammers?
Hi. I am a company executive and have read the reviews above. You are all correct. We exist to steal as much of your hard earned money as possible so that we can buy luxury cars and go on vacation 11 months out of the year at exclusive resorts. Ha, ha, ha. The joke is all on you suckers. Thanks for being so gullible and falling for a wildly successful internet SCAM!
I want my money back. There is no free subscription. I wanted to watch only one movie released and it took my card details for verification but then immediately message of deduction. Also I cabt watch any movies. Ip address mismatch errors. Rip off of public. Now i am checking like a dumb, all reviews are pathetic. I want my money back and subscription cancelled immediately. You robbers!
Tried to cancel by phone twice and was twice hung up on. Just cancelled online. We'll see if it works. If it doesn't, I'll be contacting my bank to put a stop on any further charges attempted by this company.
TOTAL SCAM! They charged me $40 for something I didn't even sign up for. Then when I call to get my money refunded I had to jump through hoops to get no where. I finally ended up filing a claim with my bank and the department of fraud. I also $#*!ed the Indian Lady out over the phone that was giving me attitude especially after she rudely hung up on me. Do not ever visit this site.
Pushplay my advice stay well away from these thieving f-----s cautionnnnnnn no sooner had i signed up big mistake they tried to take money from my account within minutes of me trying to cancel the pushplay account.
Stay away these are con artists and it is a fraudulent organisation. They are out there to run a scam. The admis are either eunuchs or bastards, theiving son of whores. Actually everyone of them who are associated with push play. Their mothers are whore.
So I go onto google searching for Episode 1 season 1 of Breaking Bad... come across the "free 5 day ad from Push Play... i sign up and before using a debit credit card i empty the amount on it leaving $2.50... all okay--get approved and poof. All of a sudden i get a " for 99 cents you can have 10 extra days". And don't forget if you don't cancel after 5 days they start dinging your card with a full charge. HaHa. Anyways i'm on their site and guess what---no way can i easily find the show.! In fact no tv shows. Just movies. So i go to cancel and to do so it's going to cost 99 cents if i do it online---free if i call but they are closed. A ripoff? Yes... small but given the # of people they fish in they certainly get enough $$$$ for the site etc... Better just to pay NETFLIX $7. A month instead
This site is a rip-off. They do not also have a direct customer service no. The number listed *******958 is a general no. For 20 or more websites. The Customer Service Rep asked me for which site I was calling for. I had to ask to be connected to pushplay and the next customer service rep provided me credit for 1 month only out of 3 months - even though I have never used this site and made the mistake of signing up for the 5 day trial. It was a mistake for me, but hopefully a cuation for others
I found several other companies with identical signup forms: Moviease was among them. After signing up for the no fee membership, the movie that I wanted to watch was not to be found in their library. I canceled the same day as signing up. I don't see any good reviews. They assured me that my card would not be charged for any fees.
I first set up a account with pushplay when i tried to watch a movie on a site called putlocker movies when pushplay poped up. Saying make a FREE account to watch the movie later on that week my whole bank account was totally cleared out and left me over drawn.
Does anyone know how i can cancel the account?
It is a pathetic scam. It is also impossible to cancel your membership because they make a dumbass screen appear saying "redirect cancel" or something so its impossible to cancel and youre basically doomed to pay 50 dollars for the next month.
Pathetic.
Why use it when you can use netflix.
I thank God I came to this page. I signed up for the free week and afterwards felt suspicious. I called my bank to replace my credit card so they couldn't take any money from my account. I never ordered a movie or anything. Fifteen minutes after signing up while the banker was looking at my account she said the company had already tried to get money from my account while I was canceling my card. It took those thieves 15 minutes to try to get into my checking account and use my debit card number to steal from me. Is there any way to report these lying scumbags to the better business bureau they are nothing but thieves. Thank you all for warning people about these scamsters.
Can't even cancel and they keep charging you... what a mess. When you buy movies they dissapear from you library after a couple days. I wish i had never signup for this scam. Sure cancel in 5 days and its free but you can't cancel.
If anyone reads this and lives near 483 GREEN LANES LONDON N13 4BS United Kingdom.
Go over and punch play. $#*!ty movies, $#*!ty Site.
Free 5 day trial, if you forget all about this, they will bill you $39.95 a month until you figure it out. They got my $2.00, one for the free trial and one to cancel.
Goodluck
PushPlay charged cancellation fee for the free trial which they didn't tell you in the beginning! If you don't cancel your free trial membership account, it will charge you $34 every month!
I agree with all the reviews! I didn't sign up, never gave them my debit card number, they found it somehow, and very nicely charged me!
This site is a total scam! I lost almost 100 dollars because of these liars! They need to be taken to the court!
I don't even recall signing up for this site. I do not give credit card details except for purchases. Regardless, I called to cancel after having never used the site. I requested a refund for the previously charged months, they refunded one month and said they would refund the rest. They sent me email confirmations that were not valid. I have had to call repeatedly over a 6 month period to get my money back. For the first 3 months it was a "processing error." For the last three months it has been "referred to management and they will be sending you a cheque." DO NOT SIGN UP OR GET INVOLVED WITH THIS SHIFTY AND UNETHICAL GROUP OF PEOPLE. They are deceptive and of empty words.
Watch out - sign up for this site and you actually become a member of 4 sites (four that I found anyway): PushPlay, Cineble, ItsHD, ReelHD, Yes - I know it was stupid to sign up for a free trial (continuing 2.95/month after) but it had Verified by Visa so I thought it was safe. I was looking through my browser history the next day and found these sites I did not visit. When I typed my username in to these other sites Viola- I wasn't even aware I was a member! Exact same spout about free trials and there contact numbers were all 1-2 digits different. MAKE SURE YOUR NOT CHARGED FOR EACH SITE! Luckily, I called the company within 2 days of signing up- they sent me a notice to cancel and one to refund $0.95 < 15 DAY FREE Trial my $#*! > you can get free shows and movies off UTorrent. I'm tempted to cancel my visa. I will be much more careful in the future.
Answer: BIGGEST SCAM THEY DONT EVEN LET YOU CANCEL I TRIED TO CANCEL AND TOLD ME THE EMAIL WAS NOT LINKED TO THE ACCOUNT AND I CAN STILL ACCESS THAT SHITTY SITE SCAM ALERT!
Answer: Once they get your credit card information they have what they wanted. Until you call your bank and have the card cancelled they will bleed you dry if they get a chance.
Answer: Same as c h, block or cancel u'r card. And ask to be refunded by u'r financial institution. Only way to respond to these guys!
Answer: No, it's not credible. I didn't give my CC info, but somehow they obtained, and charged me anyway. I don't know how they got it! I contested the charges, got the money back. If a service is free or a trial period, why do they need CC info?
