I have been a Prudential customer for many years. I think they have some very good annuity and insurance products. In fact, I liked some of their products so well that I introduced my brother to them. He purchased one of their annuities. I live in Florida and my brother lives in Michigan. More than a year ago we both lost our Prudential advisors. Neither of us have been contacted by a new advisor as yet. In fact, the advisor who took over from my first advisor never contacted me and has also left the company. My brother is not a computer user, nor is he good at navigating telephone menus. So I called the company with him to get the contact information for a new advisor. The phone menu barely worked, and did not recognize many of my inputs. When I finally got an advisor I added my brother to the call. On three different calls the phone agent put us on hold and we were disconnected. Each time I had to call back to navigate the complicated menu and after reaching an agent, reconnect my brother. Finally we got lucky on the fourth call. This was not a one time event. Earlier in the week i called on my own behalf and also experienced difficulties. There are not many companies that have good customer service systems. But there are not many companies that have worse systems than Prudential. The top execs here need to experience their own systems!

Awful Customer Service

Of all the companies I've worked with in the last few months on retirement/life insurance needs, this company has consistently been awful to deal with. Their customer service is untrained. Their forms and processes are archaic. I've spent hours on the phone trying to accomplish basic tasks. Even when my issues were escalated, the "senior customer care advocate" was noncommunicative and didn't actually make things better. Do your family a favor and pick a different company for your life insurance and 401k needs.

Incompident to the core

Tried to contact by phone,got though cut off TWICE, spent over 90mins on phone with nothing resolved, said they will ring me next week,not holding my breath, after reading reviews, an absolute joke of a company, it treats its customers appallingly, cannot wait to leave, will be reporting them to the ombudsman, they need to be held to account. They are parracites.

This is a fraud and It is unfortunate that many of us have fallen for this. We are only lucky that lots of us are getting our loss recovered by several cybersecurity agencies. I got my funds back after filing an official complaint here; skyline-recvery cpom. You will certainly need help if you have done any business with this scammer.

I Was left an inheritance that i could cash out at 18 years old with PRUDENTIAL.
Prudential cannot "access my account " as they have a system error.
I have called about 30 times over the last 60 days. Spoken to endless supervisors who promise to get info and call me back.
Not had a call or email!
Would like my money. Feeling worried now!

I had to retrieve my password and this is quite possibly the hardest website to do this it actually gave me a headache. Would not recommend anyone going through this.
