Got glasses with a minor defect, I assumed that was part of the lowered price.
I sent them in for repairs, and not only has it taken 4 months and they charged me for a repair job, but they were returned to me broken, sanded down, and covered in glue! I had it looked at before and would have only had to repair one piece. Now it looks like I will need to replace the entire frame! STAY AWAY.
I used them and got everything on time and authentic. Not sure if these negative reviews is a part of competitive business strategy from other vendors. This is actually the second time I used them and have friends that use them as well.
This place is a SCAM! Stay away! Purchased 3 glasses from them... 2 out of the 3 were FAKE and the one I actually kept were real but broke in 3 weeks! So when I returned them for repair which they charged me, the owner MICHAEL RUDIN was a complete degenerate a-hole! Completely unprofessional and used consistent profanity while speaking to him to try to resolve the problem... I suggest taking your business elsewhere! Then to top it off it took him over 6 weeks to issue a refund and when he did it was only for the repair charges! So basically I was stiffed for a broken pair of glasses with no remedy! They are crooks! STAY AWAY!
Definitely not what it appears to be. I purchased priscription glasses from this website. They arrives within a week as they say but the glasses were scratched and did not look new to me at all. My 2year old glasses looked newer!. From here, it was a nightmare trying to return the glasses and I am still waiting to reveive my glasses after a month! Beware!
Other consumer sites have linked populareyeglasses.com with a scam. I recommend doing a little research with the company before working with them.
