The worst customer service ever! If a transaction goes wrong it seems impossible to correct. Only email support and they ask for the same information over and over again. It takes days for them to respond and when they respond they ask for information, screen shots that you already sent 4 times.

The worst customer service ever! If a transaction goes wrong it seems impossible to correct. Only email support and they ask for the same information over and over again. It takes days for them to respond and when they respond they ask for information, screen shots that you already sent 4 times.

Again and again I try out apps from Google Play store that are supposed to be some type of investment or passive income app. But everyone of them so far has been nothing more than a scam that never pays out and support never responds. I use to trust Google Play store because I believed they actually tested and verified these applications before offering them to the public. But now the name Google is anonymous with scam. How could a corporation like Google allow all these scams to be deployed by there services? This is unacceptable and poor business ethics. I am furious with Google for letting the public get ripped off by these scams apps and doing nothing about it. Google you are also guilty for these crimes and should be held accountable.

Tip for consumers:
LTC miner app is used to obtain codes for mixer pro 2.0 wallet app which cost $10.00. the codes are used to claim funds which when you have enough you can then withdraw the funds. But the funds never withdraw and always stay pending and support doesn't respond. Also had to purchase an additional code for $25.00 on the mixer pro 2.0 wallet app in order to have enough funds to withdraw.

I purchased a gift card for $100 and when I went to redeem it it's not working the receipt from the store says activated so I called Google Play customer service and it doesn't work I don't know who to reach about this matter the store won't give me a refund even though I have the receipt because it's a gift card does anybody know another number I can call I feel like I just had $100 stolen from me
The customer service number says call back during business hours and when I call back it's the same recording even during those hours is there any live customer service I can talk to you and the number I would appreciate it thank you it's a Google play gift card
The message when trying to redeem it says need missing info I don't know what info it needs

Baught a $30 gift card. Put in info for gift card, and never received funds onto account. Talked to customer service who told me it could take up to 3days. Not to get my money, just a review on my problem. This is a old scam way of keeping money on the books to make money by keeping customers money in accounts without giving them a way to spend it. Do not trust this service. I am taking them to court so I can put them on front street for the service they offer to paying customers.

My card was charged 2 days ahead of the scheduled subscription renewal. No authorization of the payment was asked of me (no push notification or sms). This specific function is not clearly stated on the site, or when you make the first purchase. You only find out that their policy is to charge ahead of time, when you're charged without your consent. When I requested a refund within 48 hours, they refused to refund it! There is no customer service at all. Never again will I use their services and do not recommend you do either.

That they charge your card automatically, days ahead of renewal.

I have four $1.00 holds on my card, I can't see what they were for and when I reached out for help, the guy kept repeating himself, would tell me he understood and then looked up the transaction history and tried saying they were for purchases back in 2022 and those purchases were made on a completely different card and bank account. He came up with whatever he could to falsely resolve the issue. I haven't used google play since the beginning of 2023 when I had to switch phones. I'm livid.

My 5 year old daughter spent £30 on a game called Roblox without my knowledge or permission I researched the game and realised its not suitable for her so I contacted Google Play Support and explained the situation that she's only 5 the game is for 10+ she didn't have my permission and they've refused to refund me the £30 because it doesn't meet there policy what a joke least its only £30 and not £300

Dishonest practices. Worst customer service.
Adobe clearly says that they will issue full refund within 14 days of initial order of the renewal, but Google play will give you run around and deny refunds.

I wish they are sued and made to pay users for such dishonest practices.

Google removes honest reviews that use a less friendly tone but which, by definition, are not vulgar in any way. They temper with the freedom of speech right while defending companies that mock their customers. Just because of that Google Play deserves nothing more than a star for using aggressive censorship.

Been buying in game purchases for years and reached the platinum level so a perk is you get a box to open every week gives you up to 100 points wich is 1.00 dollar so I've kept track for the last 24 months mist points 6 which is 6 cents my average is 3 cents be advised my total spent over 2 years was 4,564 dollars. What a joke and insult to give pennies to someone spending that much. Google a greedy scam like the rest

I make a few purchases here and there on my credit card. I never keep my credit card saved for purchases. I always add it back and delete it again. Well I got a charge on my credit card not to long ago and I looked at my spending history and it wasn't on there hhmmm? Been talking with these fools and they don't care. I know for a fact Google play and golf clash is running a scam. If there's any attorneys on here I pay well and I want to make these crooks pay. Read the reviews it's thousands of people getting screwed

Bought a play card for my son. When redeeming, it gave an error that more info was needed. Clicked the link and provided all information that was asked. Received an email stating it was not eligible for appeal with no further explanation. Tried to chat someone about this, but they said decision is final with no explanation as to why it cannot be appealed or how I am supposed to get my money back since the store we bought it from does not issue gift card refunds. Their final say over the matter was that I was holding up the waits and ended the chat.

If I could give a zero star I would. Received a Google gift card digitally by Amazon email (a birthday gift) and it was unable to redeem. Went through the whole process with Google as they requested "more information". It was embarrassing to have to ask my friend for her receipt as she sent it to me as gift, and on top of that Google still rejected the gift card saying information "inconsistent" without further explanation which part of the information they're questioning. I tried to email, online chat, call in person, all gave me the same answer to go through the online submission again. And then the same response from Google "special team" that they're not satisfied with the document and cannot honor the card. Without saying why, it sure feels more like a scam. Big company sells digital money, refuse to honor and acknowledge it, what are we going to do. The whole experience is a shame and I will never ever in my life purchase/use another Google gift card.

On 5 july 2023 rented a movie in Google Play. Due to system errors I could not see it ( the film did not appear on the library) Support group could not fix the problem and reimbursement was refused 0n 15 July. No explanation was provided

If you are thinking to buy an app to try within Google Play's 48-hour criteria on its refund policy, don't do it. Like many reviews on this site and others say, they will refuse without telling you why. If you did buy with a credit card, use email to politely ask for a refund, get their refusal in writing, then dispute the charge with your credit card company.

Be careful when purchasing google play! Cards. I purchased 2 and when I went to redeem them I got a message that it needed more information. I submitted a photo of the Play cards as well as receipts. It took them a week to tell me that there are some inconsistencies with my account or the cards and couldn't be activated. I've responded back for a further explanation and have not heard back. There are no representatives from Google to speak with on the phone. Very unhappy about the customer service.

Do not purchase gift packs of google play cards. They are made cheaply, with paper cards, so when the sticker is removed to redeem code the code tears off with the sticker.
They Do Not refund for the faulty products and you will just waste money.

Noted the flaws and bugs of an app in a constructive criticism way, but Google's new automated systems even takes that as too agressive and it's now useless to state why on the low score ad it wasn't "friendly enough". So writing a text review is now useless.

I purchased an app yesterday morning on Google Play. It's purchased directly on Google Play, not an in-app purchase. Then I found the app not working as expected, so I requested a refund right away and that was just a few hours after the purchase. According to Google Play's refund policy, the refund window is 48 hours, thus that refund should be eligible. But Google Play refused to issue the refund, and their customer support kept telling me to read their refund policy, and also kept mistaking that my purchase was an in-app purchase. Then today, after having contacted with several of Google Play's online support reps, I was told that my money had been sent to the developer and that I had to ask the developer for the refund. I have told Google Play that I had contacted the developer but received no response, but Google Play doesn't care. And even until now, it's still under 48 hours after the purchase. I have used Google Play since the Market time some twenty years ago but Google Play has now become extremely discouraging and disappointing!

After more than a dozen emails and online chats, Google still repeatedly denied their fault and refused to offer the refund. Their Customer Support staff were still ignorant about their return policy's guidelines. Finally I got hold of the app's developer and he helped by initiating the refund for me. Now I have got my refund, but Google still owe me an apology and an explanation of why my refund request was turned down.

I domt suggest anyone use any phone connected to the playstore. My granddaughter spent almost 300 dollars in less then 2 months on in game app purchases before I realized what she was doing contacted Google support amd they are denying the refund of almost 200 dollars. Samsung much as I love your phones will be discontinuing my purchases as long as your affiliated with the Google playstore. They are ripping people off. I'm selling my Samsung and going to apple. Never had this problem with apple.

Tip for consumers:
Just don't waste your time especially with children and grand children stick with apple. Who is not trying to get rich off gullible children.

I purchased an audiobook in 2019. It has been in my library since that time, until last month, around the time that I purchased another audiobook. It disappeared from my library. I contacted Google Play store and was told that the order was canceled and I was refunded! With further questioning, they said that the order was canceled 2019 and I was refunded then! The only refund then was because they had charged me multiple times and made multiple credits except for one-the actual charge for the audiobook. This whole situation is too and makes no sense at all. It was obvious that customer service had no interest in actually following up on the issue! I do not recommend google play for these reasons!

Tryed to pay for CITB app using my Google play account and bank card both my name. Account was suspended because, as they say, of the suspecios fraud. Frau for 6,99? For god sake. Two days no response. Customer service Talkin the Sama again and again - wait for the email...
Btw been asked to send copy of passport and proof of address. What is this for- no answer as well.

I'm new to gaming started a game and it said Google play verified and recommended. Spent fair bit of money to catch up with other players then realised the devs never respond constant issues with game. One player asked devs for refund and they blocked his account. Then other players found out about it and left the game now the game is dead only 1 or 2 people there lol but they are leaving now also. I was refused any kind of refund from devs so I asked Google play for some kind of refund as I can't continue to play the game even though I invested so much into it. Google play refused to give me anything. Shame really such a good game devs destroyed it :( so anyone new like me do not listen to Google play verified etc they are not going to protect u in anyway same as devs there just for the money. But it is a hard lesson learned lol £400 lost my bank details now removed from Google play. Happy gaming guys :) Attached pic of response from the gamer that got blocked.

Google Play breaks into people's financial account's. Stealing your money out of your bank account. I had to cut off my bank account card information, dispute transactions that I didn't which I was not aware of. When I try to notify Google they charged me even more money without my authorization, or even my Knowledge.
If you try to contact them, please be advised that they will steal more money out of your account since they already have your account information on their files.
Considering the fact that you're using Whatsapp, cash app, Amazon, etc.
As I speak right now,right now as I'm typing, there is pop-up blogs that keeps interrupting my phone calls, internet searches, etc from Google Play Telling me that my phone have a virus when my phone is BRAND New.

Tip for consumers:
Nothing other than you should refund me my damn money. I understand even though Androids have computerized service. It doesn't mean we should be victims to become hacked.
