“Lobster tales christmas 23”

Jeffrey M.
3/7/24

Ordered lobster tails on pinterest Christmas 23. Never heard a damn thing. Money was taken 2 days after ordering from my bank account. Still to this day 3/7/24 haven't heard a goddamn thing and yes I am pissed. Pinterest seems to be a place where criminals can play their games. Pinterest needs to do alot better at policing their website. In my book pinterest sucks real bad!

They are constantly deleting pins stating that it's in violation, HOW when they are on site "to pin" they are "regular" none violent, none harmful in any way and I do not have "secret boards"! This never used to happen and I've been pinning since the nineties, it feels harassing. If they have issues with pins on their website remove them from the people who POSTED them initially.

They deleted my entire account once and I had a conniption as I pin as a form of therapy, I see peoples accounts that are disgusting and filthy? Anyone can see mine and know I pin "normal" things.

Tip for consumers:
Customer service needs to refrain from freely deleting people’s personal accounts etc.

Every other day Pinterest stops loading and shows the error/no internet screen from the laptop, and VPN is needed to use the app smoothly on phones too. I shouldn't have to reiterate as to why this is incredibly infuriating. Please work on your servers, Pinterest used to work completely fine just months back- and ps: no it's not my internet that's the problem.

Pinterest used to fun, but then they bombarded us with promoted pins and sponsored content and now I see more of those pins than I do from people that I follow. On top of that, they've removed a pin that I had on a secret board of a model in daisy dukes and a cowboy hat because it was supposedly too adult, even though she was fully clothed (and remember this was on a secret board anyway). Nevermind the fact that that secret board has plenty of provocative photos pinned on it, but none of those were removed. It's my conclusion that they've removed it because she was wearing a cowboy hat and they are discriminating against that culture.

Verified purchase

Just because something is featured on Pinterest don't expect it to be reliable or what you will get when you purchase the item. I purchased a garment featured on Pinterest through a company, Cosfine. The picture looked great, just what I was looking for. What I received is a whole different story. In addition it does not contain a fabric content and laundering label, required to sell in California. Returning it is a joke. It costs more than the garment. It is clear to me that Pinterest does not monitor what it features. Cosfine should be banned. There was no packing slip.

Tip for consumers:
My complaint and review is of Pinterest. They advertised the item. They did not sell it.

Don't have any high expectations that it will feedback your complain, I've send countless emails to them hoping they will notice because i desperately wanted to regain my account. It has 3000 pins and most of it are necessary since i rely on references and anatomy for my art and English vocabulary but looks like they don't care about their customer.
I've sent a bunch of form and application to file my complain to their customer service desk ever since, on feb 3 my account got suspended because of wrong age, i followed lots of steps and advice but none of it worked they always lead the same pit of hole saying just send emails and wait for their response but i haven't receive any of it for a months! I dont know how to keep my patience because of my frustration from their customer service!

I constantly have to use cell data for app otherwise pictures wont load. There is nothing wrong with my wifi, this is the only app that requires me to waste my data. Even after de-selecting all the autoplay video features in setting and turning off all general notifications. The app continues to play audio while scrolling thru pins. Unable to turn off, forcing me to put my entire phone on DND just to stop hearing the stupid audio of ads, music, and miscellenous sounds.

I am obsessed with Pinterest, but the newest update is not my favorite. When I tap on a picture, instead of it coming up on the screen, it shows me pins 'just like it'. It is annoying when you are trying to watch a Gif or want to read comments on posts. Don't even get me started on the fact that you can not even read some of the small, blurry writings on some of the Pins without clicking on them to make them full screen. I would like Pinterest to go back to the way it was. Before this review, I would have given Pinterest a 5/5, but now I'm giving it a 2/5.

When I first started using Pinterest 2 years ago it was a dream. Now it's just about a nightmare. There are so many glitches to try and deal with. I'm having problems with: pin screen being black, reply sometimes makes it to the person, sometimes not, when I get to the screen that comes up to reply their name is in black lettering at the top. To the left side it's in blue. For my reply to HOPEFULLY go to the person I have to erase the blue name while the screen jumps up and down.

Do I like Pinterest? I like the idea of Pinterest. I have more pins than most humans. I use Pinterest to find a lot of good recipes and ideas for work. However, their deletion of pins has gotten ridiculous. They're threatening to take action against my account for "offensive content" pinned on private boards (I like to store things that are private in nature to me, and no, I'm not talking porn or murder…more things of a political nature). They've also threatened my account for posting things that a particular owner of the content doesn't want on Pinterest. I understand them supporting that individual's copyright, but how am I supposed to know it's copyrighted? Usually I just repin what other users have shared and would have no way of knowing the owner doesn't want it on Pinterest. They deleted a pin of Sheldon Cooper alluding to having sex once a year (totally harmless). They took down a pin about suicide from a mental health perspective (it did not encourage suicide, it promoted awareness of the importance of dialoguing about it). Their community guidelines have become over the top. It's become almost weekly that I get their surprising emails about deletion of pins (which, of course, I have a higher likelihood of because of the sheer number of boards and pins I have). Pinterest is something I do for guilty pleasure and the last thing I need is to worry about the content I post, which is pretty benign in nature. They've become more of a nuisance than the Facebook police. The interesting thing is, the content they've been taking issue with is OLD, as in its been there for years. But all of a sudden it's (fill in the blank...offensive, hurtful, sexual, etc.). They're tightening their algorithms, which clearly have no brain to use common sense in deciding if something is actually offensive. Just what any of us needs...frequent threats from the Pinterest Police, telling us to go through ALL our boards to delete offensive content. I wouldn't say the content I save is particularly offensive to others–although with political stuff there will always be about 50% of the population who disagrees (but those boards are private anyhow). Content is subjective and Pinterest has a way of deeming non-offensive things offensive. With the number of boards I've got and the thousands of pins I've saved over the years, I don't have time to read through every board trying to decide what Pinterest might find offensive. A fun hobby should never become a headache.

I liked this app when it first came out. It was fun to build boards with different interests. Then, like many things unfortunately, it became swamped with ads for cheap products using bait and switch tactics. Now if I have an interest in an article, I must wade through and dodge so many pop-up ads, it's just not worth trying to get through a post. Too bad.

Pinterest is Trash. There are more targeted ads than images. The amount of sexually objectified women I see when browsing is disgusting, disempowering and disrespectful to women. Might as well be a soft core porn site. Don't recommend.

I too used to love Pinterest and found it inspiring and a good resource for collating ideas for future projects. Now it is just a disappointment. So many ads for products I am not interested in like sexy underwear I would look terrible in and nappy bags for which I have no use unless my teenage sons become incontinent. My feed is no longer a pleasure to peruse and there are so many repeats of pins I have already seen that its a near useless tool. And of course, no where to easily leave feedback on the site. Big thumbs down.

So i will have to stop using pinterest for inspirational garden ideas because since the latest update a chunk of every image you try to view is covered by a big blue message box which can't be cancelled. Anyone found a way round this?

I used to love Pinterest... spent way too much time on it looking for great ideas! Well thankfully Pinterest cured me of that with their constant "picked for you"! Pinterest tells you that you can change what you see in your settings. True... you can change it but it does NOT do anything!

I used to love Pinterest. That was when I had control over my designs and my order, i. E. putting boards in a series. Suddenly they were all over the place and made no sense. They won't stay in the places I put them and instantly flip back to the random and ugly design of some thoughtless programmer.

I agree that Pinterest should not be a porn site but they are so random about who they suspend. It is all based on who complains. Therefore someone who pins blatant porn gets away with it because no one complains but genuine art can get you suspended just because a few people want to complain.

Pinterest removed the feature where you can see more pins related to the specific one you clicked on. Now, the just show ads and business products completely unrelated to what I had clicked

Every new account I make is immediately suspended. The first time I clicked on the email they sent so they could check it out. I'd only had a chance to pin one quote about being valuable and they kicked me out. It's been a couple of weeks and still no one has gotten back to me so I decided to create a new account thinking maybe that didn't go through and again immediately after I pinned a quote and a picture that wasn't anything against their guidelines they suspended that account except this time when I was sent the email and tried to click on it, it said access to their site was denied. So, I've signed up to iheartit.com thinking Pinterest has been hacked or something.

The changes over the past year have made the site almost unusable. I truly wish that Pinterest would stop tinkering with what used to be a good site.

I am currently boycotting the Notifications section until they return it to the prior format; the new one is simply too wordy and unreadable.

I also wish they would give users multiple-choice options for viewing things, such as the recent change on Board covers -- I would rather have the old format of just one thumbnail instead of the multiple thumbnails which take forever to load and make my homepage too busy visually.

They are making a good product terrible. JUST STOP TINKERING WITH IT!

I used to truly love pinterest, and would spend hours on it. But now, all my descriptions are gone. And the page is so jumbled looking that you can't focus or tell where one pin starts and the next ends. It is a visual MESS!

Please bring back the Pinterest that I love!

Used to be very good, however too many people are restricting browsing with annoying adverts you can't get rid of. I am about to delete it from my iPad.
