Picturelife

They have spent the last 6 months (or more!) with a service that was flaky or nonexistent. They kept promising to fix things. They failed. Multiple portions of their system do not work at all. The supposed "download all my photos" feature does not work, so people who trusted them have lost all their photos (I had my own backup). I finally gave up on them, after they failed to respond to requests for help, and canceled my account. They have continued to charge me, so I'm disputing the charges with my bank. I called their number on the back transaction, and it is a Google Voice number.
Their behavior is indistinguishable from scammers trying to bilk people out of as much money as possible before they completely disappear.

I've been trying to use Picturelife for almost two years now and it has been an increasingly frustrating experience. I have literally spent weeks uploading my 15,000 + photos to the picturelife.com site and the site has never once indicated that the upload is finished. It is impossible to tell which photos have been uploaded and which have not. There is no customer support for the website, desktop app or smartphone app. Every time I try to use the site there are problems that are not accurately addressed in their "Help Center" documentation or video tutorials. For example, the site lists "instructions" for downloading photos but the instructions reference an "Info Menu" that does not exist on the "Album Page." After trying the instructions and finding them useless, I went to the "Tutorials," where I got an error message saying that the page was no longer available. I have had these problems over and over and now I have thousands of photos stored at a remote location and no way to get them back or erase them. I purchased a new computer recently and, in the process of transferring data from my old computer, I lost an album of photos. Picturelife indicates that my missing album is there but, again, I have no way of downloading them. I've sent Picturelife customer service three emails about this problem and they have never answered. I would call but they do not have a customer service phone number anywhere I can find. I know that Picturelife was bought out last year so I wonder if the service has been abandoned.
