**UPDATE**
A few days shy of the two month mark since I had ordered my pool, a package showed up surprisingly. It was a severely damaged box and what was in there was an off brand name pool (not intex as advertised), no filter/pump, tons of missing parts (actually most of the parts were missing), and instructions for a different pool and filter. So in short, I would still call this a scam. I honestly don't believe they would've sent me anything unless I escalated the problem with PayPal. I'm not exactly sure on how it works with sellers but I can't imagine PayPal would be happy with their sellers constantly pulling this type of thing. I'm sure they were told they wouldn't be allowed to sell on PayPal anymore or something like that so they found some lousy off brand piece of dung as a substitute to send me. They also sent a loose air mattress pump that looks used and is falling apart. I'm not sure how that's supposed to help me or why it was even in there. Long before the package showed up, in one of the multiple emails I sent too them, I had asked for return instructions for the item on the off chance the item actually showed up. The only communication I received was a two sentence email that didn't answer one of the many questions I had been asking and seemed too me like they used google translate. Which would be fine if you needed to figure out what a word or two means but not when you need to communicate with your very angry customer! And now I'm stuck with this item I have no need or want for and no clue how to go about dealing with a return since PayPal's customer service doesn't seem to exist anymore and the seller is quite impossible to deal with.

*ORIGINAL POST*
This is a long story that's not even over yet but to make it simple... I ordered an above ground pool from perpear.com. Everything seemed on the up and up. The website allowed me to pay through PayPal so I thought it was worth it since my payment would be secure. I also paid for expedited shipping. As soon as I paid, the confirmation page popped up and said the seller was named "BIG MAGPIE" and no contact information. Seriously. The website name was "supermagpie.com." They probably thought they were clever but I think most people have a passing understanding of a magpie bird. These people were practically laughing in my face. At least that's how I saw it. That name didn't show up anywhere until AFTER the transaction was completed. In hindsight, I'm grateful I take screenshots of everything when shopping online because I was able to prove everything I'm claiming. Over a week later, there was still nothing regarding shipping or tracking. Despite my suspicions, I waited the full 7 day time limit PayPal gives the seller to ship the item before I filed a claim. In the meantime I emailed perpear.com (no response) and called using the number provided on their website (fake phone number). The links from the confirmation page ended up on error screens. They also suggested a download the app "shop" to track my shipment. There have been no updates on that app except to show the purchase was made. So here we are, 10 days later and nothing. All of this was enough for me to not want these people to get my business even if it ended up being a legit company. Very simply put, these people are taking advantage of the pandemic. People like me are trying to entertain their children and families while being cooped up inside. Everybody wants a pool and they're sold out almost everywhere. I hope others see this when they check too see if perpear.com is a reliable site. If this whole thing is somehow a mistake then I will correct my errors and update this review but I highly doubt this company are legit and on the up and up.

I placed an order with Perpear.com for an above ground pool for my kids. After the order was placed I received a confirmation e-mail from Perpear and PayPal. Several days later. I checked the status of my order on the perpear website and PayPal website - There was no record of my order. I tried to call the company, but the number provided on their website is a non working number. I tried to e-mail them several times, but received no response. Basically, I will not be getting the pool for my kids and I will not be getting my money back. I tried contacting PayPal, but I can't even get through to them, so they've been no help. Does anyone on this site have any updates or advice on what to do?
