The MODS Scammed me!

SCAM MODERATORS!
I started the trade with this guy "paxful*.*com*/*user/Ahmed8818", I was selling 550$ worth of gift cards to him, I sent him the cards and Marked the trade Paid so while I was waiting for him to release the Coins I noticed he took a lot of time to do so, then when I got suspicious, he took the cards Redeemed them and logged into another account and tried to redeem them again and he took screenshots saying that the cards are already redeemed he opened a dispute and uploaded only some screenshots saying "card is already redeemed", then I provided the receipts of each and every card I bought I myself checked their balance before selling em to him and yet the Braindead MODS gave the dispute to him because he has a lot of feedbacks!

I scraped as much information from this company and all their email address' which i will be submitting and sharing all over the internet! I deposited my BTC into my Paxful wallet without being required to complete ID verification, and so I have not engaged in any trading or transactions on the platform. I requested to withdraw my deposited BTC and send it back to myself. Paxful Support has told me that I must complete ID verification before I can withdraw or send my crypto. They told me to read the ToS, which I did, and I mentioned the inconsistency in their policy, as ID verification was not required for depositing my BTC, but is mandatory for withdrawals. Paxful Support has stated that using their digital wallet service, which includes STORING, sending, and receiving digital currency, is subject to their Terms of Service and ID verification requirements. I have tried multiple attempts to seek clarification and request reconsideration, Paxful Support has maintained their position and closed the ticket (without my consent or request), stating that completing ID verification is the only option available for me to withdraw my BTC.

Thankfully, I have only lost $27 worth of crypto over this ordeal.

Lance, you are the worst customer support I have ever talked to.

Paxful can you explain to your potential customer's this risk I purchased bitcoins first purchase for me in JULY it stated clearly can send up to 1000 before verification no ifs ands or buts well I purchased try to send to my external wallet get a must verify before sending after a month of trying to verify getting same stupid message my roommate attempts to help me why well because for over a month my 50 plus emails for help go without response so in a desperation attempt he tried to verify what happens then well now banned but I get message saying I will have a one time link to withdraw my coins well turns out Another lie so my coins sit day after day when my family is going through a crisis and the wonder people at Paxful don't care enough about their customers to help them with something that small I am gonna make sure the entire world knows as I told you in last email if you all didn't do the right thing all I ask was for my money my money

I had spare USD (Apple Store) gift card codes I couldn't use because I am not in USA. Tried to sell them on PAXFUL platform for BTC but ran into problems because buyer (BTC seller) refused to pay claiming my codes were already redeemed. The only person who ever saw those codes was me and buyer, so I knew he redeemed them and tries to cheat me.

I only ever revealed my GC codes via their platform during trade following all the instructions. Buyer (with 220 positive reviews, I had none) secretly used my codes and then replied to me that codes are already redeemed, sending back screenshots from iTunes with error messages. He refused to pay BTC and started dispute. I have provided all the evidence I had that I am the owner of the codes I purchased hours before from Amazon. Things turned bad for me because moderator awarded escrow BTC payment back to buyer. No reason given.

I raised another complain to PAXFUL, this time threatening to inform US/UK regulators and police. I have also informed Apple that giftcard codes were stolen and Apple ID under which were redeemed should be blocked/investigated for fraud. Apple acknowledged and logged this on their end. Apple also confirmed that, as expected, codes were indeed redeemed and spent.

Next day, PAXFUL reviewed the trade again and this time they awarded BTC payment to me. Again, no reason given.

Overall it wasn't a pleasant experience at all.

I have released the btc to the guy llns but he refuse to give me the $10 gift card because he didn't have and ask me to open another trade for $50.

He said that escrow still hold the btc. So please refund me the btc.

And the guy llns should be punished. There are so many scammer on the platform use the same way to cheat.

Paxful should do something to punish them.

I traded 300.00 worth of razor gold cards 3 cards worth a 100.00 each and the seller said o w card did not go thru when I fact it did I have the proof from. Razor gold time frame it was redeemed 1 minute after the trader said it did not go thru this trader has over 4000 trades and refused to pay me my crypto for thr 1 out 9f three cards he did pay for two of them so I went and chatted with paxful I sent them when I received the cards from. Amazon with proof of purchase I sent screen shots from. The trade with time stamps of when I gave trader the cards I sent a screen shot when trader said it would not load then I sent an email directly from razor gold stating he did infact load all three cards then I broke it down I received proof of purchase from. Amazom 10:17p.m. I opened my trade and at 10:21 P.m. I pro idea all three card I formation for him to redeem and at 10:24 P.M. he told me he could not load the third card razorgold informed me by email that the third card was redeemed at 10.22 p.m. and so I sent all this proof to paxful and they told me I didn't have enough proof to get them to get what was owed to me im not stopping against paxful BUYER BEWARE ITS A SCAM YOU WILL GET RIPPED do to almost 99% of gift cards you are not allowed to trade or sell to others it makes any vlaims gmaw and void so paxful will let these traders rip you off and not care how they sleep at night I Don't know and I e more at first when paxful got all my proof they stated I. A email I would get paid I has sufficient evidence then I received an email stating I didn't have enough evidence PAXFUL. IS A SCAM

Paxful froze my account in 2021 without any valid reason, locking my funds. After countless support requests, all I got were copy-paste replies like "Your account is under review."

In 2023, they banned my account entirely. I thought this meant they would finally release my funds—but NO. Now my account is banned AND frozen at the same time! When I try to withdraw, it says "You've already sent out your balance"—but my funds are still locked!

🚨 Avoid Paxful at all costs! They have been holding my money hostage for over three years with no real answers. Do NOT trust them!
