DON'T TRUST PAXFUL. They say they don't tolerate rippers and scammers. Yet look at all the reviews on here that are ALL SAYING THE SAME THING. Paxful lets people get ripped off! Twice now I have been stolen from. The first time was for $100 gift card. That one hurt. I won the next few times that rippers tried to steal my cards. I thought Paxful had redeemed themselves. Nope, they got tired of faking that they actually care. Because they have once again handed over my money to a ripper. BEWARE: if trading gift cards for bitcoin, scammers will redeem your pin and/or code by a different device, then try to redeem it again with video evidence, showing it was already redeemed. You would think, though, that if you could provide evidence from the gift card company that the pin wasn't redeemed until AFTER you gave it to the seller, that the moderators at Paxful would realize what the scammers are doing and not let them steal from you. But you would be WRONG if you thought the moderators at Paxful were that logical. They aren't. They don't have your back. They will let people steal from you, even when the evidence and all the requested information is presented to them. Even when you've followed all the rules from day one. Even when you are obviously not a scammer and the other person obviously is, with other negative reviews saying the same thing about them. And then they'll say "unfortunately you lost the dispute" even though you were the one to report the trade as a ripper in the first place! And after reading this review, they'll have the gall to blame it on you, saying "we know it is hard to lose a dispute….maybe you didn't follow all the rules, or provide sufficient enough evidence". Well I did. And I did. And they still let them take my money. And yeah. It is hard. It's hard to basically be called a thief and a liar when you're an honest person. It's hard to be told that a ripper gets to keep your money. I didn't just "lose a dispute" Paxful. I lost my money for nothing, and basically judged by your ignorant moderator, to be a scammer, when the actual scammer gets awarded my gift card and the bitcoin. It's degrading. It's insulting. Thanks for the HUGE SLAP IN THE FACE PAXFUL. And then they will say they are sorry you are closing your account, and are you sure? You're not sorry, Paxful. The only thing you're sorry about is that you'll have one less person to let the scammers rip off. If you keep treating honest people like this, one day all that's going to be left is a bunch of scammers trying to rip each other off. At least your crappy moderators will have great job security. And yes. I am absolutely sure. DON'T TRUST PAXFUL.
On 10th December 2021, I registered and opened a bitcoin wallet in Paxful. Then transferred about $******* worth of BTC to my BTC Address: bc1qltfxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxaxkutahf9pp4fsvjc9jl
Next day, I received a confirmation receipt of it with an advisory note to top up with $3000 worth of bitcoins in order to upgrade to Premium Membership. I did that and again (within 12 hours) they asked me to deposit $840 of bitcoins because of bitcoin price fluctuations. I did that as well but still couldn't see my deposited bitcoins. When I asked them why I couldn't see it, this is what they replied, Quote "Upgrade completed successfully.
Funds would be visible in a few hours. Thank you." Unquote. As I write this review it's been more than 78 hours since the last message and I had deposited about $19,840, but my bitcoin wallet is still not visible. And now they, the Paxful Support team does not even respond to any of my numerous emails.
So I request the readers to help retrieve my funds in any way they can. Thank you.
