I ordered a part for my washer using the model number. Their online system suggested the wrong part and it did not fit. They will not offer a full refund even though the mistake was on them. Do not trust the parts list on their site. Good chance you will get the incorrect part and out the cost of the purchase. Look elsewhere for a reputable parts supplier. Partsselect.ca. Is not reputable.

Awful customer service

Received a part without the needed screw that comes with it making it useless. Never answer any of my emails, never refunded. I do not recommend.

Non-existent customer service for returns!
July 14, 2024

I ordered a heating element for an issue with our stove. Turns out it wasn't the element, so completed the Returns Authorization Form, included a copy inside the returned heating element, and waited for the refund to show up. That was Feb-2024. Now 5 months later still nothing. They don't answer their phone, or emails when it comes to refunds.
Would definitely recommend NOT dealing with these scammers.

I recently tried to get a refund on a frigidaire water filter that cost $136.67 that had a broken prong when I went to replace it. They have refused to refund the cost because I threw out the packaging it was shipped in although the box it came in was not damaged and I can vouch for the packaging not being damaged. I was a repeat customer. I will never deal with them again particularly when compatible filters can be found on Amazon. A 2 pack is 35.99.

Ordered a Whirlpool dishwasher inlet valve from Partselct.ca. Part arrived and it is defective. They shipped out a defective part! Do they not check parts before they ship them out? Quality Assurance?
Astonishing.

I emailed customer service and they did not respond. I called customer service 6 times during their business hours and they did not answer the phone (for options pertaining to returns or info on an order), nor would they allow a message to be left. This is suposed to be a professionally run business.

I called a 7th time, only this time, I selected #1 option, that is for placing an order and sure enough, promptly they answered! Wow! I was told an email would come in 3-5 business days from them with refund and return directions. Inappropriate way to treat customers. I need the part now. It cannot wait more than 3 to 5 business days, before even receiving an email on how the refund and return process will take place.

It's really sad that a company can operate in this manner. Now I have to think about ordering appliance parts elsewhere, because I have concerns as to how reliable and trustworthy Partselect.ca will be and how they treat customers.

Very Frustrating
October 4, 2023

I ordered an item on a Saturday because I was told it was in stock and would ship right away. I waited until the following Wednesday and had not received a tracking number so called to find out what was going on. My order was sent to a warehouse that did not have the part rather than a warehouse that had the part in stock. Was told they would ship from the warehouse that day and I would have my tracking number late afternoon. By 5:00pm I called again since I had not received my tracking number and was told it wasn't in stock and they had to order it. After a brief discussion they said it was and would still ship that day as purolator picks up around that time. It's now 9:00pm and no tracking number which means I will now have to wait until next Tuesday as we have a holiday weekend coming up. Very frustrating and unreliable company. I have cancelled my order and will go elsewhere but even though I've cancelled it may still ship and then I may have to pay shipping to send it back if it shows up at some point. The only reason I used them is because I was told it was in stock and could be here in a couple days. Never again.

I needed help with refrigerator drip pan and spoke with Dave Little of their customer service team. He was friendly and helpful. He even looked up an instructional video to help me replace the drip pan.

I was able to repair the pan and did not need a new (so far). Dave Little saved my $700 in repairs.

Although I cannot speak to the quality of their items I can solidly endorse their commitment to a great customer experience!

Made an order on a wednesday at 4pm. On the page of the item I wanted it said « if you order within 4h we will ship today ». 24h later, no shipping notice. I called and they said that I ordered slightly after 4pm so they were closed (even if the page said to order within 4h). Ok. I'll wait. 48h later, still no shipping evennafter calling them again and writing to customer service. I will clearly svoid this company in the future. They are not reliable.

Appliance parts

Over several years I have had cause to order parts from Part Select. I have always been happy with their assistance line and their prompt shipping. My last experience was a bit different but I am still a fan of Part Select. The oven in our kitchen range had stopped operating. I sent an email to the assistance hotline and they suggested two possible parts; one of which was obsolete. I tried the other part in hopes of resurrecting the oven but no joy. I really don't feel too bad about it because we realized that the range was over 15 years old and had been good to us.

Ordered Thursday right before Easter... Received Monday :) When I called to put in my order it took not even 2 minutes to speak to a really nice lady she was really polite and gave me all the right information's on the phone, made sure it was the right part and that it was good for my dishwasher... I never received the tracking number or receipt from my transaction so I called back the day after a super nice guy answered right away and checked to confirm my email to try to send me the receipt and insured me that the part was already shiped... Like he said it was shipped since I received it Monday so 2 business day... Really fast! I would totaly recomand to order by phone it's so much better!

Chose to use a Canadian company to fix our washing machine. Within a minute we realized the part was not the issue and returned it in pristine condition a day later. The return was rejected so we are out two way shipping and the cost of the part that definitely will be resold.

We will use Amazon next time.

Absolute joke

Bought a timer from Partselect for my dryer. Realized after installing it that in fact it was my turn knob that was not working since the dryer wouldn't start with new timer. Returned the timer in exactly the same condition, in exactly the same packaging with no use, within the 30 day refund policy return deadline and got no refund because the part was "installed." What a joke.

Such a bad experience.
They didn't even stand behind their own words. Customer service is the worst one ever, the man I was talking to was so rude. Better not even try.
Return is more expensive than throwing everything away...
Don't fall for their service, they have no idea what they are doing.

Order a part for $14 had to pay delivery of $15 and it was the wrong part. Sent email to see if 24 can get the right part no reply. They sent me a return authorization and advised to get a tracking number. Had to spend another $14 to send it back.

Part select is brutal

I ordered an upper rack adjuster from part select over a month ago. They sent me the wrong part. I talked to someone and they sent me what they said was the right part, but again it wasn't. Is the third time a charm? Still waiting to find out. I've been waiting over a week now and they have yet to ship it. Can't recommend.
