🍋Lemon- Product warning: PAMPERED CHEF🍋 Do not buy Pampered Chef and expect it to last, they do not stand behind their products. I have a salad spinner bowl that is cracked. (Not an item you use everyday) I asked to have it replaced and was told it is not in warranty anymore and discontinued. I was expecting a gift card from the costumer service rep but that was not going to happen. The rep had the audacity to suggest as a solution to my problem that I shop their current sale or consider becoming a rep for PC! The spinner bowl cost $73 and you can purchase a similar item on Amazon for $20. I will not be paying high prices for PC items anymore because it may not last. I was told several times that the warranty had expired and my question is why does the PC website state Doris Christopher's vision stated:
"MADE TO LAST"
"We develop innovative, professional-quality, multiuse kitchen tools that stand the test of time, are meant to be used often, loved, and passed on" My cracked bowl is not professional quality (or it would have not cracked), it was not made to be used often, or made to last! I do not love it cracked and will certainly not pass it on, cracked! I have never asked PC for any other replacement and the reason I did this is because it was an expensive item. Yes, I am an unhappy PC customer and done with Pampered Chef. Julie
Pampered Chef clearly has issues with the Grill/Griddle but they do not stand behind their products. An electronic kitchen item should last, at the very least for a few years. Error message E7
I bought a mandolin and prep bowls. The mandolin broke the 2nd time using. The pins in the handle fell out. It was replaced and the same thing happened. Today while heating up ground beef in the microwave for a taco the bowl exploded. I took the beef out of a bigger container and scooped it into the bowl. I set the microwave 1 min at 30 seconds I stopped to stir the meat. Then put it back to finish warming it 10 seconds in I heard something and thought it was something falling in the sink. I opened the microwave to check to see if it was warm enough and found the bowl exploded. The price you pay for these things you would think they would be better quality.
I purchased and used the bar stone After about three to four uses it broke apart in four places. I contacted the seller but she said she'd get with her boss. I have bought stones as gifts as well as my personal use. They're making a product not worth the money. Never again.
We have owned a PC skillet for almost 30 years. It is and has always been my go to pan. Over the years they were replaced under warranty for Teflon coating peeling. This time we received a gift certificate to make buying new design more affordable. We bought the new one and works well. But it leaves terrible black marks on the counter tops. I have tried to clean what cant be seen on pan. Made no change in marks. Must use a small amount of cleanser on sponge to remove. Confused as old one did not. Gas stove is cleaned.
Bought the flex prep set 18 mos ago, had to replace batteries and handle twice, broken again...but company wont replace it since it is more than 12 mos... Crummy customer service. Don't buy their electric devices!
I purchased a fish spatula 2 years ago. It literally snapped off at the handle after 2 years of mild usage. The spatula is paper thin! Very poor design. When I emailed about warranty and replacement, they basically brushed me under the rug. They said that sparila only had a 1 year warranty and oh, by the way, was no longer in production. My guess as they why is because it was a poor diagnosis and broke a good share of the time. I'm done with this over priced company. I can get better items for less money and better warranty at Target!
Do not purchase the insulated bowls. The lids hold water. I bought as a Christmas gift for my mother in law. She doesn't cook very often and has only used 3-4 times. The lid has water in it. There are no instructions not to submerge etc. she has tried to sit in the sun to no avail.
Needless to say, they will not replace it because it's been over a year. They told me I can purchase one.
I have sooo much Pampered Chef products you would think I am a consultant but no more. Very poor design and the customer certainly pays for it.
Received a papered chef grill/griddle as a gift, loved it, used it every week for morning breakfast, lunch and dinner when possible. Even used the gill plates for sandwiches, (not a fan) couldn't be happier. Then she started to error out on me, first only until it warmed up, then I had to hold down the plate, until nothing helped to remove the error. Well that was that, so I contacted the company and they said, "Can't help you, buy another one on our website. In My opinion Not worth the money, not worth the aggravation, not worth my time to purchase another.
I've had a pampered chef hand food chopper for over 40 years and it's just like new. (I don't think they still sell it). I just received a garlic press and a citric press and they are both great. My other garlic presses didn't work at all. I've never had a citrus press but this one works much better than the old lemon juicers that I had.
Well we used our executive series pots and pans for over 10 years. They had a lifetime warranty and they just honored that warranty.
They replaced every pot and lid that was worn out. Mind you 4 of the set were fine, but the other six were replaced without question. Thank you so much for your tremendous service.
I purchased a cookie press a few years ago and it never worked properly. I tried it several times throughout the years I owned it following the Pampered Chef Recipe. The dough will not release from the press. This year I decided to email Pamered Chef for help with the press, and I was told to "TOSS IT". I could purchase cookie cutters on their "sale" site. Thanks, but no! Never again!
PAMPERED CHEF IS truly a pyramid scheme even though the owner states not. Its a multilevel marketing firm, same thing whereby the top profits the most. It is the lazy mans way of making money thru marketing. Their products are pure garbage.
I have been using Pampered Chef products for over 20 years. My favorite products are the stoneware and the Rokcrock product line. I have never had an issue with any of my more vintage products. While I have seen a lot of negative reviews about the 3 year warranty, I ask you this, when was the last time you got a 3 year warranty on you Walmart knockoff baking stone or cookware?
What an arrogant company they are! I ordered an Airfryer for 299,- but it had to be delivered in the Netherlands so I payed the order. There was no reaction on the order so I send an email that I lived in holland and if it was ok to deliver it in Holland but got no reaction at all. A couple of days later the money was refunded without wanty reaction, so arrogant, unbelievable!
My wife purchased the griddle and it only lasted about 8 months before it needed to be replaced. After it was warranted and replaced it broke again 7 months later and was now out of the warranty. Somehow even though it was replaced it apparently didn't start over the warranty. I wouldn't recommend their products to somebody on hospice with 6 months to live because chances are it wouldn't last.
Bought a piece a few years back, used it about 5 times. The stoneware cracked. The lifetime warrenty is really only 3 years. So no replacement no warrenty. Do yourself a favor, save money and buy reputable stoneware! Where they honor and back the warranty!
I placed an order on 9/16/21. According to their website on 9/23/21, they were shipping orders placed on 9/17/21. When I inquired as to why my order had not shipped, I was provided with a generic response. When I followed up, a different customer service rep said it was in the queue and would be processed soon. No one would answer why orders placed after mine were moving ahead in the queue. Then a different Customer Service rep(Gigi) said they were processing orders placed on 9/18/21. No one will answer my question.
Love Pampered Chef. We have been using their products for over 25 years and no problems with anything. The pizza stones are especially nice and durable. Makes great pizzas and cookies every time. The ice cream scoop is the best. Every item we have purchased has lasted and has not been replaced due to wearing out! That's amazing to me and worth the slight premium you pay for their product.
After purchasing many Pampered Chef products, I have determined that the quality of the products is not good and the items are overpriced. All of the spatulas I purchased ended up with cracks in the rubber parts. With the food chopper, the clear plastic attachment is not durable enough to withstand long-term use. The plastic eventually breaks where it is secured onto the main chopping part. This has happened with two of them. With the original cake icing piece I purchased, the clear part did not screw on enough for it to stay secure. The plastic part eventually broke. When I notified the company, they said they had redesigned the piece to be more sturdy but would not replace mine since it was past my warranty period even though they admitted the original design was flawed! With the stone baking dish I purchased, it cracked and they replaced it only to have the second one crack. After the second time, they said they would not replace it again! They did not back their product the way I was led to believe they would. I have only included images for items I still have. Other items have been disposed of.
Answer: Some of these products are very good and the price is not to bad
