If you are buying this for a gift for you loved one for a holiday I would NOT rely on their timelines to make sure you get it on time! I paid expedited shipping and they refunded me the money and said sorry. Now it's 12 days later (then the date I was supposed to have had the painting) and I still have not received my painting. I would have never ordered if I would have known the painting would be this late. Almost 600 basically down the drain. Called and emailed customer service and all the have said repeatedly is sorry we can't do anything else. All I'm saying is don't give timelines if you can't stick by them!

Both my husband's father and my mother passed away a couple of years before we were married. I have given numerous paintings to family and friends that they loved. So finally I decided to get one for me and my husband. Paint Your Life beautifully painted my mom and father in law standing by my and my husband's side in our wedding photo. I like the end result painting. Thanks to a friend's advice, I asked for them to redo the painting after draft one, because one grandparent's face needed to be redone. The artist had to do two drafts to create a wonderful portrait. I think they have good customer service. I liked the fact you could send multiple photos and have several drafts.

Answer: They advertise that you can send them photos of people now past. They advertise these large paintings with beautiful frames being unpackaged. It is a lie. I started my order on November 10 and it took three months to complete. First because they would not sell me a large canvas like they show on their website. Secondly because they no longer sell anything except the smallest frames; yet the continue to advertise and list prices as if they do. Multiple email and phone calls resulted in no honesty from these people. If they had just come out and said "We don't sell those sizes of paintings and frames anymore" I could have moved on. After 60 days your money is their money even if you have nothing to show for it. You are expected to know their jobs better than they themselves do and act accordingly. Phone calls are outsourced to a call center out-side of the U.S. The people answering are nice, respectful and do a great job at making think there is no problem. At the end of the phone call, you feel better and NOTHING has changed. I finally received my painting in a tube. I did not get what I paid for and am unable to easily find a company that will frame original artwork for less than a few hundred dollars. I cannot hang my painting; it is in a closet. They advertise large frame and list prices but they do not sell them. You CANNOT buy what they advertise! In fairness the artiest did a wonderful job. It is the lies of the company that prompted me to report them to the BB and every online site I can and will find both private and governmental in nature. Don't let these people steal from you.
