My order was placed on Sep. 13th and I received my completed portrait on Oct. 4th. The painting was carefully wrapped and sealed in a carton appropriate for it's size. Was really impressed how quickly the portrait was completed!

From start to finish everything was perfect. I was extremely happy. We added my mom in with my son and husband on their wedding day. I showed my dad and he bawled. This is the perfect gift for my son's 30th bday in July!

I was able to get a portrait made for my sister-in-law.
In the picture I made sure to incorporate my sister-in-law with her cap and gown graduating with her master's degree and a picture of her mother next to her by her side.
Her mother passed away back in January and my sister-in-law graduated in May. Her mom wasn't able to see her graduate with her master's degree so I wanted to get something made special for her to let her know that her mother is there with her every step of the way and looking down on her smiling

I placed my initial order on April 14th. I was so excited to get this painting for my fiance because it was a picture of him and his brother that passed away. They sent the preview and it looked amazing. They sent the final and they nailed my brother in law but my fiance looked HORRIBLE. We modified a million times and they finally switched artist. Again, they sent a preview and it was amazing. Sent the final and now my fiance looks okay but my brother looks HORRIBLE. Needless to say on June 9th, I still have no painting and now I have no Fathers Day gift either. I would not recommend going here especially if you need the painting within a year.

Unfortunately, my grandmother passed away 10 years ago and wasn't able to meet my children, her great grandchildren, and thanks to Paint Your Life, I was able to have all of us together. This painting was suppose to be a Christmas gift but I couldn't wait that long, when my wife unwrapped the painting her tears start flowing like a river and she was in shock of what was painted.
She said this was the best gift EVER and the painting is now hung in our dining room and she can see her father(he passed away in 2009) with our daughter and son.

So, not only did it take an extreme amount of time for the paiting to come in. *3 weeks, but when I reviewed the final product and approved it I was, of course, viewing it on my cell phone. Well, it came and it's my boyfriend, his mom, and grandma. His grandmas glasses and complately crazy looking. Like one is one size and the other is CRAZY it goes up onto her forehead and the line is the farthest from straight. The color they used is so faint that in the photo review i couldn't see the screw up. Now I'm $400 out of pocket and the painting is ruined.

Ordered a painting of my fiance and her recently deceased mother on Nov 30th. Even though the edited photoshop look like a 9yr old did it I was still optimistic because the painting could've looked much different. Apparently they didnt even start it even though the status showed "Being Painted".
I also paid for "express service" so she would get it by Christmas (tomorrow). They stated because I paid for express service I would have it in 21 days. I got told today (December 24th) that it would be an additional 22-26 days. Unacceptable.

I only asked for 1 review of my portrait but honestly the picture you see ok screen doesn't do the actual real life painting justice. When I received my portrait it was perfect!

Answer: They advertise that you can send them photos of people now past. They advertise these large paintings with beautiful frames being unpackaged. It is a lie. I started my order on November 10 and it took three months to complete. First because they would not sell me a large canvas like they show on their website. Secondly because they no longer sell anything except the smallest frames; yet the continue to advertise and list prices as if they do. Multiple email and phone calls resulted in no honesty from these people. If they had just come out and said "We don't sell those sizes of paintings and frames anymore" I could have moved on. After 60 days your money is their money even if you have nothing to show for it. You are expected to know their jobs better than they themselves do and act accordingly. Phone calls are outsourced to a call center out-side of the U.S. The people answering are nice, respectful and do a great job at making think there is no problem. At the end of the phone call, you feel better and NOTHING has changed. I finally received my painting in a tube. I did not get what I paid for and am unable to easily find a company that will frame original artwork for less than a few hundred dollars. I cannot hang my painting; it is in a closet. They advertise large frame and list prices but they do not sell them. You CANNOT buy what they advertise! In fairness the artiest did a wonderful job. It is the lies of the company that prompted me to report them to the BB and every online site I can and will find both private and governmental in nature. Don't let these people steal from you.
