1 phone line disappeared from my account. Customer service had no clue. Bought new SIM card and has not come after 5 days. Their computer system has always been terribly slow. Customer service kept telling to wait for system to come up and transferred my call to many levels of support and finally was told to be patient. No idea about item. Unacceptable!
I've been using page plus cell service for over ten years. They charge my credit card each month. They used to be good but now they are horrible! I've been without a phone due to their errors. Again, texting completely won't work and after calling customer service they said they are experiencing technical difficulties and your account did not renew as planned. This is dangerous my only phone. You get what you pay for
Representatives transferring my call from one to another 4 times for 2 hours, one time one transferred me to herself instead of appropriate department and surprised, unbelievable, they lost my phone, no help. Polite but no help, felt like talked to robots. Wasted my time, money and very upset in the end. Please don't have any business with this company. Scammers and service is terrible.
Ah, you might want to check dates and wording on the positive reviews here. When I started with PP years ago, they were the only affordable option to use the Verizon network. Once PP was bought out a few years back by some French company, customer service evaporated. Idiots man the lines, telling you to reset your phone, get new sim cards, etc when the problem is on their end. Want to change a payment method? Good luck with that, it has to be done through a rep. Want to change auto billing? Call a rep. Think your phone is compatible because their website says it is after you enter the IMEI? Think again, they'll cut your service and change their minds months after it worked without a hitch. For a few bucks more a month, just use Verizon prepaid and get 3 times the data. It is just not worth the headache.
Since I have submitted a bad review for Page Plus, I have received two calls from their Customer Service number that lasted 1 second and was immediately hung up. Now they can say they tried to reach me to resolve the issue but I was unavailable. This is how they try to cover up. Unreal!
When I tried to port my mobile number to a new service provider, I found out that PagePlus has registered not only mine but also my husband's IMEI number incorrectly making it impossible to port our existing numbers to the new service provider. One of the 4 customer representatives I talked to even went so far as to tell me to have my son call them back so that he could read the correct IMEI number to them blaming me for the mistake. The SIM card also didn't match the IMEI number. They refused to fix the issue nor could they transfer me to a manager. We will have to give up our numbers and assume new phone numbers. This company is a complete mess!
They used to be a good service provider years ago. Now if there is a problem they say they can't do anything about it. I have lost about a month of data service after paying for months now. I have to call in every month now to get it cu on. I asked for a credit or refund and they won't do it. The only thing that makes this company halfway decent is the fact they're using Verizon lines. I had Verizon and I didn't have this problem ever. They just bill you to death with $200 to $300 a month charges! I'm considering going to another provider that takes care of their customers. I am always talking to an Asian person. Hey may have outsourced as a reason for bad service now.
This company is an absolute nightmare. Simply getting ONE issue resolved has lead to more issues, frustration and time that I just don't have on a workday. I've placed 5 calls and have gotten nowhere and it's only noon. I've been trying to get help for 5 hours and just keep getting excuses (all which make it seem like I'M the one causing the issue), transferred or hung up on. My patience tolerance is very very high but at this point I never want to spend another penny on this phone plan ever again. The reps are very condescending and curt and I just seemed to be getting shoved off and ignored. I spoke to two reps that accepted my Access PIN and the 3rd tried to tell me that the PIN I provided was incorrect? Then dropped my call completely. They still haven't sent a survey lol. It's nonsense. I intend on getting off of this phone plan ASAP and highly discourage anyone considering Page Plus. Just spare yourself
You can get better plans from companies like Visible, that offer you 5g for 45 dollars a month as opposed to 4g at 55 a month. I was going to get a family member to join them as I have been a customer for about 8 years and didn't think to look elsewhere. They placed and order then only after paying for my "free" sim card, charged me 29 dollars in shipping. When it arrived, I refused and UPS took it back. The customer support hung up on me when I demanded a refund. You are a trash company.
The phone service was mostly decent in my area but did often drop calls. The website is so beyond confusing and glitchy. There is absolutely no way to change payment info without cancelling your service and starting completely over. Then I just get looped back to the same page over and over. The chat bot is worthless. The real customer service people are nice but I got so beyond tired of constantly having to start over every time I needed to pay with a different card.
Holy $#*!... if you ever wondered what customer service would be like in hell call page plus. It will honestly make you ask yourself how is this possible?! How could a company be this bad at customer service?! I have never experienced anything like it. It really is a remarkable feat of futility. You could honestly say it's a marvel!
My old company that I loved! Was a hybrid and I needed Venmo... Well sh!t. Ok, my husband has used this company for years and swears by them. I went five months... And I swear that I will never be that f'ing dumb again. They couldn't port my number in. Then finally answer over 100 calls finally did. The data was sorry at best and often wouldn't work if there was a chance a wifi connection might be there. Kept having to turn off wifi just to get the data to work only to have this idiotic company tell me to turn the phone off then on. Wanna guess how many times I did that in five months? I finally lost my cool and told them to fix the f'ing data. They did by shutting my phone completely down. I'm now without a phone till I get a SIM card from the new phone company I probably should have gone with in the beginning. Only go to this company if you like getting jerked around.
I was SCAMMED by their referral program, followed the process and after over an hour with your horrible customer service, I was told they didn't have the ability to correct. How do you get away with this? I was scammed, others beware!
Hello, I have been a PagePlusCellular customer for over 10 years. The wireless service is excellent. I have purchased three phones from over that time. Zero problems in this department. But the Customer Service with Page Plus is horrible, terrible, incompetent, intelligible, inept, time wasting, just horrible. In trying to activate a new sim card since January 26,2022, I have spent about 12 hours on the phone with at least eight different customer service agents, until I finally was connected with one person who knew what she was doing. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. So bad, that I am considering finding a more customer-centric provider.
Dont go here. They have horrible customer service. They will not fix anything... have a note 9 cant send or receive pics. Mobile Data absolutely not working. And my phone worked perfectly fine before I allowed them to insert a page plus sim card... now I'm $#*! outta luck and they dont care
I cancelled autopay online for my mother to close her account. They charged her account the next month. When I called to ask why, they said there is a glitch online and it doesn't always cancel autopay. Yet online, it shows as cancelled, so from our view it was completed. Page Plus REFUSED to reimburse despite her phone not used at all that month.
AVOID PAGE PLUS! VERY SHADY BUSINESS. According to their map, I have full coverage. I bought their SIM, got charged $60 for a plan, then wasted 2hrs trying to get phone service because there was NO SIGNAL. The PagePlus guy had me restart my phone about 20 times, reinsert the sim, then told me to walk around outdoors to try for a signal. Nothing. No connection. And they refuse to refund my $60, claiming they have a zero refund policy. I'll be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the US Attorney General Consumer Dept and the Florida Division of Consumer Services.
I had recently purchased two phones black in color. Several days later, I received the package with the invoice inside. The invoice stated the color as being the color that was ordered but both phones were not the correct color. When I emailed Page Plus about this, customer service stated that the color was not available and that they do not differentiate colors on the website. In addition, I was told that I would have to pay the 20 - 50 percent restocking fee as well as $10.00 in shipping costs if I choose to return them. I did not receive what I ordered and was invoiced for. If that color was not available, the website should be updated so it does mot contain false advertizing. Customer service was extremely disappointing and disrespectful to a customer who has been with them for a number of years.
I was using verizon for so many years I been on a contract with them for over 5 years my bill was over $120 plus tax every month I find out about page plus from a friend and they using verizon towers and to my surprise I could use my own verizon phone with them and the best part is I have the same plan and the same service but now I am only paying $45 a month the only down side to make a payment I need to call them every month. Other then that the service is great
They let u wait forever on phone, and come back with no answer or just keep sending u to another. Internet doesn't work normally either
When I got their phone there was no back, they wanted me to pay the postage to send it back so I kept it. This was a back up phone in case I lost my phone or was in an area where my Sprint based phone would not work and the price was only $10 for a so called smart phone. I first used a pay as you go plan of 100 minutes for 3 months, I could not get my android gmail etc to transfer over, I turned of the phone to cancel the data (and most of the time I was on wifi) but after making 3 short calls and having less than 7 texts they said I used up 100 minutes, they said the phone must have been continuing using data even turned off. Since I did not have a regular phone which I was waiting for, I had to continue using this phone so I signed up for a monthly plan of 250 minutes and same texts for $12, I probably made 120 minutes on calls and could not even get texts or take pictures on the camera or access any data on this piece of $#*! phone, but I could not cancel, because it was the only phone that I had. At the end of the month I called them to try to work something out, they refuse to refund or give me credit. The rates sound very attractive, they are low because their crappy phones give you poor service and they make money because you can make very few calls, send texts made and unable to access data. For $22, they did not care that they had a disgruntled customer who would inform the public about their poor service. If you use a credit card, your company should reimburse you.
Answer: The might have a legitimate business license; I don't know. But they actually scam their customers, so in terms of what they do to customers, it is a scam.
Answer: Early morning or later evening is best. You can call but they have no tech support, their customer service people are outside the USA and have very limited abilities for solving problems. You can try the 'chat' on their website, but you get the same people who have the same limited answers.
The overall reputation of Page Plus Cellular reflects a significant divide between product reliability and customer service quality. Many customers appreciate the affordability and coverage provided through Verizon's network, noting that the service generally works well. However, a pervasive sentiment highlights severe dissatisfaction with customer support, characterized by long wait times, ineffective problem resolution, and frequent call transfers. Issues such as billing errors, account management difficulties, and inadequate responses to technical problems have led to frustration and a sense of being undervalued as customers. This duality suggests a pressing need for improvement in customer service practices to align with the company's otherwise solid service offering.
