I received my bicycle and trailer from Origami within a few days of order, all parts and items ordered are packaged nicely. The shipment however did not include instruction on setting up the trailer, some of us are not quite as handy as we would like though. I did communicate with customer service and did get the instructions right away via email, and the customer service rep was totally helpful.
The price was great, the company was responsive with real people answering my emails quickly, and the shipping was fast. They don't ship abroad, so I'm having a friend bring the bike to me in Denmark. Looking forward to trying it out!
I like the bike very much. It's sturdy and rides well. I wish there had been written instructions accompanying it though. My husband is mechanically inclined and he was able to figure everything out quickly. Had it not been for him, I would've struggled both setting it up and folding it.
There was a shipping glitch when I ordered a bike on May 7. When I made a follow-up call to locate my order, Paul was very generous with his time and very honest about how and why there was a delay in shipping. I so much appreciate the personal touch and assurance that Origami Bicycle Company is a top-notch business. Paul, thank you so much - my grandson will soon be receiving his wonderful birthday bike!
This was the best conversation about bikes I've ever had. Paul was absolutely wonderful and inviting on the phone. He was both knowledgeable and patient in answering my many questions. Since my sister and I hadn't ridden for almost 30 years as children, he easily guided my purchase decisions. I ordered bike on Thursday afternoon and the bike arrived at my home Saturday morning. The magic of it all is that the bike came 99% assembled. All we did was unfold, adjust seat to proper height, and snap close thee handlebars. And Voila! My sister was riding the bike minutes later with ease after 30 years. You MUSY BUY ORIGAMI!
I ordered the Origami Hawk and it came within a week, much faster than I thought. The bike came with little assembly, just had to put in the seat and unfold it which was easy to do. The bike rides really smooth, and is very comfortable to ride. It folds and unfolds easily and feels secure when everything is locked in place. I've sent a few questions through the message portal and received a helpful response immediately, and if I sent the message late at night, I received a message first thing in the morning.
The bike was fully assembled and ready to use in folded configuration.
I was looking for single page document showing final steps with pictures showing unfolding and getting bike ready to ride configuration.
I was eventually able to figure it out and start riding the bike ( in 10 minutes).

I performed the minimal assembly required (handlebar and seatpost). Since the bike was shipped folded I attempted to straighten it, this was difficult as if there was paint inside the hinge. Then I could not get the hinge lock closed because the wings were bent too close to one another to allow the latch to be fastened. I had to use a hammer to straighten the wings. Then I was able to close the latch.
I was eager to try the bike at this point and rode it for maybe 1/4 mile before the right crank arm fell off. Neither crank bolt was in place. I was assured that crank bolts are on their way, but I will have had the bike for several days before I will be able to ride it.
Thank you. The bike is good quality and durable. Except while I am riding it feels little tight, and touching the break or something, I an not able to figure out.
Bought the Hawk for my Daughter and it shipped same day. She loved that it folded so she could put in closest or her car. Ordered second but hasn't shipped yet
The bike came super quick and was easy to assemble. I'm so happy with it and the company's dedication for customer service. When I had a few questions about the bike they instantly reached out and I received answers from their social media manager and who I believe was the owner of the company. So nice and helpful! I will definitely be recommending Origami.

Long time since I've rode a bike, and first time owning a foldable one, so taking time to get used to all the nobs and handles that hold everything in place
It did happen to get a little bent in places due to shipping but that's not on the company, and I'm still recommending it to anyone else who asks
The Origami Bicycle Company Hawk is the best bike I've ever owned. It is sturdy, very well built and easy to fold. I am a heavier rider above the recommended weight and I haven't had any problems with riding the bike. It changes gears smoothly. I highly recommend this bike to anyone looking for a folding bike!
The bicycle did not arrive ready to roll. The front wheel has to center it at all times with the handle because this does not stay still. Now I have to pay for it to be properly assembled. The solder has holes.
Front tire came over inflated and not in the rim
Took it to a bike shop and the fixed tire, but put it back on so it scrapes
Now I have to take it in again and pay more money to have it fixed properly

I feel that I should have been told the bike was not in stock when I first ordered the bike. I feel that I was not treated fairly.
