Technical support

Absolutely awful,,,, decided to come to my home and run a fiber line onto my property,, they sent a technician and he wasn't trained on how to remove the line,,, no one has called to resolve this issue,, I'm still wondering who authorized the technician to run that line onto my property,, totally unprofessional

It's unusable. Optimum should just say they don't offer a mail solution. It generates lots of error messages like 'An Unexpected Error Has Occurred'. Tried it with Edge and Chrome but no difference.

1/23/23 Update: Optimum cleaned up the mail application. It's works and is usable.

My husband and I have had email addresses ending with optonline.net for many years. Suddenly, with no warning or notifications our account has been disabled. No reasons why either. If they are phasing out email service, give us a notice. Give us a way to forward emails to another address. How can a giant company get away with this?

Artificial intelligence programs used both on line and over the phone.
They do not connect you to the appropriate person/office or identify correctly the issue you are calling about.
It repeatedly asks for your contact information, only to ask for it again, and again.

They have the worst email of any provider. Their email interface and emai storage management is a joke. Their technical support simply keeps you on the phone for 15 minutes or more. Then they acknowledge they can not address email issues and they say the will pass it on to advanced technical support for email but they never ever respond so just a waste of time to call them, I don't even try any more.

They just don't have email support. Just try getting in contact with them on any email issue and you will see what I mean.

On live on Long Island NY. Optonline.net covers landline phone, internet and cable services. At least one of those services goes down EVERY day. And I need internet for work at home.
When it rains or it's windy especially, service is lost for a long time. Customer service is useless. Worse is there's no other real competition to switch to. Ugh.

This is about their refrigerator.
Our floor is not perfectly level (concrete floor) but this refrigerator does not have levelers on the back of the unit. Someone had to come in an ADD SHIMS to the floor so that this unit is level with the walls. I have never had to do this before for any kitchen appliance. I guess this was a way to save a dollar!
