“This website is NOT a scam, it is simply a different...”

Jill S.

This website is NOT a scam, it is simply a different kind of online auction. The pay to bid style helps keeps the price of luxury items down. Like any auction, there is only one winner so it sometimes takes more than one try to win an item. This is probably why they list the same items multiple times. The facebook page shows videos of people who have won so I think that speaks for the legitimacy of the site. The company is based in California, all the items are brand new and guaranteed.

“Glad these SCAMMERS are finally out of business!”

This site was nothing more than a HUGE SCAM. Several years ago I signed up to bid and won a $500 Bloomingdale's Gift Certificate, but trying to actually get them to send you what you have won is impossible. First, you must jump through all of their hoops. Then they tell you your item will arrive in approx. 15 days. When you never receive your item they use all kinds of stalling tactics and ultimately stop responding to emails. I filed a complaint with the FTC. Next thing I knew the website was closed down. Evidently, I was not the only one who filed a complaint.

I don't feel the site is a scam like the rest-sorry. I only lost $30 thankfully. They explain everything clearly. Watch the video. Sorry ladies-you can't get something for nothing. Read the fine print. Pay full price for the bag or just buy the fake. Someone very smart came up with the idea for the site ( in my opinion) and they are making millions. My only disappointment is that I didn't win, not that I signed up.

I saw a bunch of comments on this site and thought I would give my 2 cents. Spent $100 on the site bidding for a Louis Vuitton Speedy and didn't win. I was really upset and thought I wasted so much time. But for some reason (probably my own stupidity), I really loved the Speedy so tried again, but this time only bought a $50 bunch of bids. I spent over 2 hours waiting patiently bidding and WON the bag! I love this bag soooooo much and was so happy once I received it! Since then, I've won a pair of Tiffany earrings. Still waiting for them to arrive.

I found this while I was checking to see if Ooh I Love was for real or a scam. From what I've noticed, timing is everything. And the site is making money hand over fist with how the bidding process works. I thought I'd still try it out though, as you mentioned it's gambling. And i paid $50 to try and won a Louis Vuitton purse for a 90% discount, YESSS... i got the bag, its AUTHENTIC LV purse and I M LOVING IT. ;)

Elvis was probably thinking of people that run this type of operation when he wrote "Don't be cruel to a heart that's true". They lead you on in promise of something you desire and at the last moment, they kick it down the road just out of reach. Over and over again till your broke or you overpaid. This reminds me of a radio contest they had down in San Diego at Belmont Park in the early 90's. They had a contest that 10 people who got to the finals get to ride the roller coaster there all day until one is left. The last person to get off would win a new car. This contest went on for days until there were only 2 people hell bent on making it to the end. That's when they modified the rules so that when they were finished at the end of the night they had to sleep in the seats of the coaster. The 2 poor souls were only allowed to eat tuna melt sandwiches and drink warm mountain dew. I believe they did this for several weeks until they felt so sorry for the two folks that they each got cars. That station never did that contest again! That would be the only difference between this website and the radio station, the website would of let them keep on going until one of them died. I know my opinion is very subjective but that is the way I strongly feel about these type of sites preying on desperate people trying to get a good deal.

Now this is an interesting concept. I really enjoyed my recent experience with oohilove.com. After bidding for the first time on a gucci shoulder bag i lost $20 but was happy to see the person who was bidding from so long won the bag for only $24.80. Iknow the site is making so much money but its their business and the main thing is, they are giving the top brands on such low prices, like the gucci bag won by that lucky person, costs around $1134 and look how much discount he got... i'll surely try again..

I believed it was not a scam so I purchased $100 worth of bids only to lose every time. That would have been fine had I been able to purchase other items with the rewards dollars I earned, but the web site closed before I could purchase anything at their trunk show. I emailed them to find out if new items would be coming to the trunk show since I wasn't thrilled with the options and they told me more would be coming very soon. Next thing I knew the website was shut down. Not happy.

Oohilove is a magnificent site made for those shopaholics who love handbags. Site gives you so many so real brands that one can't imagine and everyone can have them with such a big margin in their rates. But all who want these handbags must learn how to play the game, or else they will only be left lost evry cent they have got. The site gives each and every detalis, how to play and after winning an item they will get it within 2 weeks of time... i found it so coool... dont u?

It takes some time to understand but I actually won 2 things over the past month: tiffany earrings and a 100 bid package... best advice I can give is to observe the bidders and see what price some of the auctions previously closed at. I LOVE THIS GAME! :)

Oohilove has quit answering emails, stopped shipping merchandise, and stopped emailing out virtual gift cards. Real bad news. On March 26th they posted on their Blog "The End Of Oohilove" and then promptly took it down. All this in just the last 20 days. Looks like something is up at Oohilove...

First of all, this is truly a "buyer beware" auction. This site does not guarantee anything or hide anything about the way the auctions work. For those chiming in about how people can bid endlessly (which would cost a great deal of paying. 99 per bid) but bid packs can often be bought for pennies on the dollar just like the merchandise being auctioned so the dollar cost average is much lower than it looks. I happened to get beautfiful LV bag for 1.51 with only one bid (yes, due to a lot of luck), but it does happen. If you can't afford to bid and lose, you should definitely stay away, but please don't try and ruin it for the rest of us who have figured out how to do it without breaking the bank. The website is not a scam but it is also not for the faint of heart because if you get carried away you can certainly feel ripped off if you don't win.

This site had the opportunity to be brilliant.

Instead it is a royal scam.

How dare you allow bidding to occur in such an unprofessional manner that would put the gambling industry to shame.

Anyone with half a brain can translate 1 penny to one dollar and see that everything is 10 fold the cost. There must be a consumer watch group that will find out about this and shut you down as quickly as you scammed people.

This is perhaps the biggest bull$#*! site i have every been on. Refer a friend? Not on your lame website, or life.

I'm a school teacher who would love an LV bag but can obviously not afford one on my salary thus, I became almost giddy when I saw this site. I now feel stupid, stupid, stupid! In retrospect, I think even my students would not have fallen for this SCAM. What was I thinking?! I had been in Vegas a few days before for a friend's wedding and did not gamble ONE CENT hating the idea of been throwing my money away! Ironic isn't it?

Unless you have all day to sit in front of the computer and bid, do not bother. It gets worse, I kept going back to the site for 3 hours and then I was outbid by someone using their bid assistant program. I bid at the last second and was outbid by their bid service. Why bother, there is no fun in that and I got taken for a ride. I asked for the rest of my money back and they did give me a refund. Guess this happens all the time. Let your friends know.

I really feel that it's a scam. There's been a user cheerleader007 that has been using bidding assistant for an item when it was only 10.00. The auction is still going and the item is now at 72.00 with the highest bidder still being cheerleader007. I calculated it and that means she has spent around $3600 just on the bidding. That's ridiculous. That's more than twice what the bag is worth. FAKE $#*! WEBSITE!

I have visited number of auctions sites last days and never be impressed from them, as i found the oohilove also there and decide to visit it, As i never want to play anymore because i have already lost money on other auctions site so thatswhy not ready to take risk... But somehow me and my girl friend both of us purchased one bid pack from the site and called us the oohilove support for assistance as we didn't know how to play it, They really guide us well and finally start bidding on the web site. Might be we have a very good luck on last wednesday and we won the Tiffany Pendants for my girl friend. Just here to share my experience. It was really very nice. And waiting for my item as they promise us to deliver it within 2 or 3 week. When i will get it, will be back on site jabber and share my winning tiffany pendants with you all.

The sad thing about this website is that it shows on page 1 of google in position 1-4 so obviously a lot of people would have been exposed to this scam. Shame... the concept was cool but strategy and execution... pants!

I wish I did my research first before signing up for oohilove.com - what a waste of money! First off, I read everything on their website and even watched the video tutorial - I was convinced that their website was 'real' and it seemed legit to me, so I finally caved in and entered my credit card info and purchased the lowest 'bid pack' which was $29.99.

I started bidding on their Marc Jacobs bag and was doing pretty good until all of a sudden all these 'bid assistants' started to out-bid me and of course I eventually ran out of bids and could not continue. What's really strange is I waited until the last 10 seconds to start bidding, because I knew at least 3 other people were watching that same bag... as I sat there watching their 'manual bids' I started to notice all these 'new bidders' popping up. (This of course raised a red flag to me). I knew something was not right here. I have a feeling it's the company's employees who monitor the site and make sure suckers like me do not win the luxury designer bag. What a waste of time & money.

The good news is I only gambled $30 on this website --definitely a hard lesson learned -- PLEASE STAY AWAY from oohilove.com... they are running a scam!

I personnally LOVE the penny auction game... and it is a game... you are bidding for items much the same way you play the slots... hoping for a win. That being said this web site WAS AWFUL. I bought a 99 bid pack and recieved nine bids instead of 99. I then spent the NEXT FOUR WEEKS trying to get them to correct their mistake. I had to call THREE times and was put on hold a total of FIVE times. I will NEVER use the web site again nor would I recommend it.

I have just watched an auction on this website for the Louis Vuitton Galliera bag. The winner spend $1,362.08. This bag costs $ 1,280 for the 16.5"" x 11.4"" x 6.7 if you purchase it directly from Louis Vuitton If you are taking part in these auctions with the purpose of buying the item regardless of whether you win or not you might want to cheek out the real retail value of the item.

I purchased a 50 bid pack and had a coupon code for get 10 bids free. The auctions take forever because people keep bidding and that adds time to the end of the auction. So, I tried bid assistant. That is also annoying.
They give you "love dollars" for each bid that you can use at their "trunk show" There is nothing in their Trunk Show Section. At least the last time I checked. They also charge A LOT for shipping. It seems you can't win for losing on this site. Stick with ebay or a site I just found called yoogiscloset.com. It has designer co-sign stuff that is super cute!
