I have been looking for a jack russell puppy for a long time! Went onto this website, was supposed to be in NJ. You could only text this person! No calls! They got back to me saying had to go to CA, and had to take dog. I will give him to you, all I had to do was pay shipping! THERE WAS NO DOG! Found the same pictures on other sites, with legitimate ads! Check the phone numbers! They were from Montana, Ohio, and then I looked at other breed puppies. They had the same phone numbers! Check it out! Can't believe they continue with the scams they are running! GO ELSEWHERE!
I feel sorry for every one of you who have been scammed and the fact oodle is doing nothing to help.
Someone close to me was recently scammed for a puppy the same way. Unfortunately for the crooks, they've messed with a computer hacker whom can find out about anyone anywhere so this will be fun exploiting and hurting their scams. They will not be taken lightly and most of the individuals are located in other countries.
Scam! Beware! The same motorcycle picture (with house in background) was used for 3 different listings of bikes in 3 different locations of the country. 4 days of no response from seller... and after numerous attempts to elicit an integrity response. Nothing. The Sellers name led to a completely foreign facebook page. Bike was priced ridiculously low,, too good to be true scenario. Sorry I wasted my time. There has to be a watchdog group for these kind of listings esides just writing a bad review.
Do not trust anyone on this website!
My wife and I recently went to get a puppy and found a local seller at a reasonable price. The seller was very convincing asking about our local vets, if we have owned this breed before, even showed us a picture of his/her "family" and explained how "Christian" they are. The seller then told us they are on vacation right now in Texas and would have to ship the puppy to us. (Red flag) half way through the puppies name changed from max to jack (red flag) and turns out he/she wasn't on vacation but just bought a home in Texas.
My wife text her from a different phone and asked if the puppies were available only to be sent completely different pictures and was told they are in Maryland right now on vacation.
Don't trust any of these ads no matter how convincing they seem. Especially not one with this number *******759.
Tried to buy a trailer listed on Oodle. Wasn't contacted back for days. Finally was contacted back with a note that said: "Trailer still available", it also had some auto reply full of scam info. I have tried to get a human being for 5 days now. I have tried since the ad posted. This is such a scam. I have sent dozens of inquiries through dozens of people. No response to: "When can I see it", "I want to purchase it ", " Please call me", etc. This seems to be a sight solely for benefit of advertising. I wonder if anyone has ever successfully bought anything, let alone a big ticket item. How disappointing and what a waste of time and energy.
So I've been looking to buy a Yorkshire Terrier for a good price. Yorkshies normally cost $800-$1000+ on Oodle they cost $200. So it's mind blowing at first. But if it's too good to be true, then it's a scam. Texted over 5 people from different ads all said that they relocated, that they would ship the pet and All I have to do is pay for the shipment. Bull$#*!. I got a yorkie today from a breeder, cost me $400. Great deal, safer. Don't use Oodle. Ever. They're scammers.
I was looking for a dog and the ads are like 3-4 years old. Also for some reason the people selling things have phone #'s that are half XXXXed out/ Whats with that how are you suppose to call them when the phone #'s are only half there?
If you send them a "I have interest" email no body ever responds, doubt if they get those emails, even though Oodle sends you an email saying your request was sent.
I'm done looking on this site
It's a scam I paid 280 dollars for a yorki puppy and when she was suppose to be shipped they said she needed a special carrier. I have never felt so stupid after months of looking I thought I did it right but I guess not. Don't go to them. They are low life people. I can't believe they would do that I'm 19 and in college that money could have saved me in so many ways.
Of course they got me... a cute little tcup yorkie for 350? The lady seemed nice and friendly, said that the reason the price was so low was because they "realize" these puppies needed loving homes instead of money. Sent me pictures and whatnot. I sent the money, she said she was doing the final registration for the flight. The next day she tells me she needs 280 dollars more for a special crate! Because "authorities" said so. I called her out on it all and of course did not send the 280. Were pretty heartbroken by the entire thing. This is by far the WORST site I've ever been on. Horrible mistake. Nothing but SCAMS.
He had a pic of a beautiful white teacup Pomeranian... Could ship her to me... after $1,700.00 I still do not have a puppy! Please do not deal with them. Phone numbers given to me are *******274 and *******556. I have alerted law enforcement. Please do not buy a pet on line! These evil people are out there! Dee
Looking for a pug puppy that wasn't over priced and not a show dog. Ran across the winkle pug puppies home and thought I found my perfect match. Did not have an inkling any I had already sent the money. Ran a picture reverse search... ALL pictures of pug puppies are pirated. The seller does not disclose there name only the names of their supposed brother and husband. Day two trying to get my money back. Filed a suspicious report online and notified money gram of the fraud.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. I listed some puppies for sale and it was removed for a policy violation it said. Well, I read their policies and I didn't violate anything. I have gotten no where on it They tell you nothing about why other than policy violation. How in the world do you know what they are calling a violation when you have nothing in your ad that violated their policies? Then, days later, you still hear nothing back when you dispute the removal. The whole thing was a complete and utter waste of my time. How about investigate before you remove something and have the common decency to get back to people when they contact you.
I know that it is a local listing for lots of other things too, but I've always gone on here to just search for pets. So my review is just for their pet category... amazing website. It's simple to search and easy to navigate. I found puppies on here for friends and family members that came from amazing owners/breeders and it's such a friendly online place to go to for pets (personally for me).
1 *******908 If you see this number it's a scam. English bulldog puppies 500$ and Frenchies... the person says he's in Louisiana because his mum just passed and they are her dogs! Not true these pups pictures are from other old accounts. Please PLEASE don't buy... if the price is to low and they won't text you only email you, and never speak to you on the phone. They are probably scammers... NEVER SEND THEM ANY MONEY! Buyer BEWARE... I didn't send money but after losing our dog and thinking my family was ready for a new pup... just breaks our Again the number is 1 *******908 its an App. Number and he has other numbers also and pups all over... please read this before you buy... thank you
I sold the parents of the great dane puppies so you can't see the parents... I lost my daughter to I'm selling the puppy cheap (shame on you for using a death of a family member -- what comes around goes around so beware). I live in MD yet I'm posting in WI and want to drop the puppy off. Makes no sense. Get a life and better yet, get a real job!
I was looking for a different classified ads site since craigslist is mostly scams & cheats & I find oodle is worse!
Is there any place online that has honesty as a priority?
*******408 is pure scam! They have a huge list of ads in many different categories.
I inquired about several ads on this site everyone that contacted me back. Contacted me back by email or text only they all had the same story. They are only interested in getting all info on me but when I ask question about the puppies or the so call seller They couldn't give me nothing not even their phone numbers, not even a legit name or a video of the puppies this site is total bull please do not be fooled into sending these $#*!s any money unless you meet them face to face it's a total scam
Reached out to three different people about a puppy listing in the Las Vegas/Henderson, NV area. One didn't speak English and had no idea what I was contacting them about, the other two were in Washington and Baltimore... No where near Las Vegas where they listed themselves.
Do NOT give these people money. This is a scam.
Forget about getting a boat from oodle after searching on the website for over 3 weeks and getting scammed on a Lund Boat out of Portland, OR. All I find is good looking boats that are priced 50 to 75% off what they should be. In my opinion they are all scams. One of the boats currently on oodle has a listing in Kearney, NE. However, pictures of the boat have palm trees in the back ground.
I read a few reviews that frightened me and I had contacted a seller to purchase a puppy from craigslist where they tried to scam me so I was already concerned. But I am glad I went through this website. I tried to purchase a puppy in my area for the same reason to avoid scam and simply drive to pick up. I met up with the puppy owners and they were such great people, gave us; food, training tips, vaccination records, and a shot that the puppy will need in a few days. Best thing I have done by far. As a buyer you just have to be a few steps ahead and not fall into the shipping puppies deal as much as you want them home with you.
Answer: This is my experience, no need to try to file a complaint, Oodle doesn't answer it. I submitted inquiries with no result. When you submit a complaint you get a ticket number thru email with a promise that Oodle will get back with you in a certain time span. Well it doesn't happen! I would never send money for a pet thru this website due to the fact they will not help you if you are scammed knowing your complaint isn't answered. I legetically listed puppies for adoption. I do no shipping, listed them in my area and do have the pets I'm listing. Good bye Oodle, I've found a website that is legitimate for my listings..
Answer: Don't get a dog in less u can put your hands on it the people hot me just after my dog passed away and I told them about it and myself having cancer as well I will never trust anyone again and they said they was in the same state as me but was out of town seeing family it's all bull shit
Answer: It's a scam. I got ripped off and got the Fbi and secret service involved.
Answer: I really don't know if they are all scams. I have inquired about pugs being at a distance away but just didnt feel comfortable. I even talked to the sellers but just decided to pass on the chance of maybe losing my money. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yeah why is oodle still operating. This is were the government should step in to protect US citizens
Answer: Obviously the scammers are one step ahead of Oodles... The scammers probably email and complain about the legitimate deals, so they have a better chance of being contacted. Oodles needs to have true Animal lover's be in charge of there site.
Answer: This site is a scam - major scam - - don't ever buy from Oodle. Laden with scammers.
Answer: No. But be very careful of what's offered. If it is too good to be true it's a scam. Also, don't wire any money to someone/business you don't know. You will never see again. Credit card or Paypal. If they won't accept them then don't do business with them. You can recover your money from either.
Answer: I agree with you that most of the listings are scams. I wanted to purchase a Macaw or an African Grey and every ad was nothing but false information. I even had one person send me pictures of the birds he was offering. When reading the meta data for the pictures I discovered that the pictures were older than the birds he was selling. I don't understand how this site has not been shut down because of the amount of misinformation and downright criminal acts that it allows.
