Why are there so many puppy ads with the same number to text for info and different contact names and different states I called one that I was interested in and when I said that we would drive down to pick up never heard anything from them again. They gave me a sad story of daughter dying and no one to take care of puppies so they wanted to transport when I refused they stopped contacting me They are scammers beware of the #*******716v
These people not only try to sell you puppies, they send fake photos of family holding the puppies. When we called them on it, they actually though what they were doing was ok and their comment was "White chicks always fall for this"; in addition to words that only uneducated and ruthless individuals use. DO NOT even entertain if you see "Adorable toy Yorkies". "We will have the puppies to you in five hours, you pay $200.00 for airline ticket". Needless to say they need to find a REAL JOB instead of scamming others for money.
So if you get an email from:: *******@gmail.com, DELETE and move on.
We have 5 Siberian Husky puppies we tried to sell on Oodle and my posting was Flagged. We have sent 76 notices to Oodle asking why our post was flagged and no response to date. My wife also opened an account on Oodle's posting the puppies and her account was also flagged. I'm sorry to hear about all the scams people went through on Oodle's especially when you have honest people attempting to sell puppies and have been Flagged.
Do not purchase from this site i truly believe there is no fraud dept and every pet listing I looked at was a scammer I had pics stolen from my site and tried to contact there fraud dept and got no response and the listing is still posted!
I deposited $1000, but not be able to withdraw my capital again. It's a scam company. I advice everyone not to invest in the company anymore.its not safe
I really am interested in a grey african but after contacting 4 of the individuals. The addresses were not the same as the addresses on the web site. This is a red flag... Scam... This site should not exist...
Scammers! My husband called them abt the puppy & said that the puppy needs a anti-retsovaccine because its a new law! Really?! The guy on the other side was practically arguing back with my husband. My hubby was saying tat customer is always right & tat dude argued even more saying the same crap. Never again!
I didnt sell my item on here but I did like the look and feel much better than craigslist. The also have you sign on with facebook which I think helps keep some of the freaks away. Craigslist is full annonimity, while oodle has some information behind because of facebook. I ended up selling my item on craigslist but felt more comfortable on oddle. I hope they can get more traffic to help people sell items.
Many thieves here... They have been posting pictures of our kittens for months now.
We have complained but nothing has been done about it. We are Mountaineer Munchkins and have a good rapport with all our customers and have a legitimate web sight. It is sad to
See our kittens used to steal from people. We will be watermarking our pictures in the future.
It would not be that difficult for oodle to protect its public!
My funds are really short. My son has been asking for this puppy for the past few Christmas. I've never seen this breed for this cost. They want 300.00 for an akc German Shepard. Also from another state. I esss told thel
So I recently been involved in a scam here on oodle. Luckily I didn't give the guy any money but a good tip for those who are on this site trying to find puppies or animals for sale, ask the seller to take a photo of the animal with a piece of paper next to the puppy with the current date written on it. That's when you'll know if you're dealing with a scammer or not. I recently did this with someone and their excuses started to flood out on how they couldn't take the photo. BEWARE of people on here trying to scam you! Always ask for an additional photo before you send ANY MONEY and if they don't provide you with it, run for the hills. It is a SCAM.
The ''team'' working for oodle is no doubt some fat old cow pee drinkers in India who not being able to speak English auto take down anything marked as spam etc, if you get two or more they suspend your abiliy to post yet let you waste your time making one! The site is filled with trolls and I'd bet jealous idiots, bitter former users trying to bring the site down and perhaps even craigslist trolls trying to excercise wider control. Their help system lime amazon's and so on is an insulting run around a time waste and trying to ask for a reason fornthe suspension gets no where as they only have a ''help'' system and a no reply spam bot to tell you the bad news, hours later. I did find this joke of site's number on BBB and took multiple dumps on them
Check out their vintage Harley site, one guy lists bikes for sale all over the country as an "individual" with minor name changes (Rain R., Nair H., Rair C., Anier C., Rain H., Cis N., Chris N.,... and on and on!) have yet to find one legitimate seller to respond to purchase requests. Appears that they are trying to access exploit your friend list on Facebook. Rotten bastards!
Oddle.com is a horrible website that needs to be taken down. I can go on their website and point out over 5 scams right away. There is a person on there that has been scamming people since 2011? How are they getting away with this. Someone should do something about this. My mom and I had contacted a person about a munchkin kitten and we got scammed out of 700 dollars! The person who scammed us seemed very convincing so be careful. They wanted money every step of the way. STAY AWAY FROM OODLE.
SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! I was looking for a maltese pup. They sent me all info pn pups n wanted my info to make sure i would take care of pup... they were giving them away free because grand mum died and they had too mamy to care for. I only had to pay for air fare delivery. 350... This company oodle my noodle... needs to be put out of business!
Looking for French bulldog puppy. *******@gmail.com "Linda Stella" tried selling me a dog for $500. Gave me pictures of beautiful blue frenchies. I was all the way to almost purchasing the dog through PayPal and I happened to google "blue French bulldog puppies" all the pictures she showed me were on Google / tumblr / Pintrest. Total scam! Once I brought to her attention she never wrote back. SCAM SCAM SCAM! Do not use this site!
I got scammed of of 650 total for a British shorthair kitten for my girl friend for Christmas. I reported the guy. He's back sale kittens. Don't buy from James S. With a 614 area code. He's still has adds post for several diffrent kittens. You want get any kitten. And loss your money...
Alot of you are honest people but your wantig to do business on the internet, well let me help protect yourself. When you find something you want to buy, mock up a scenario where the current classified ad has just stole money from you. What do you do? Well, inform the poster that they just withdrew a certain amount from your account and you would like there information. If they are legitimate they will give you all of there info and try to resolve the issue. If your not satisfied then you know you shouldnt inquire further. Its very simple.
Wish I had read reviews BEFORE I sent $ for a dog. After I paid for dog, the "shipping" company said I needed to pay for insurance. THEN they said dog was quarantined. Every step they wanted more $. Please stay away.
Wow. There must be a ton of people working the puppy angle on Oodle. Huge tip! Do not buy a puppy that you can not go pick up yourself! The area codes of the contacts are not even in California let alone LA where they said the puppy was. If they ask you to text them to get info and then say you have to have the puppy shipped to you; IT IS A TOTAL SCAM!
Answer: This is my experience, no need to try to file a complaint, Oodle doesn't answer it. I submitted inquiries with no result. When you submit a complaint you get a ticket number thru email with a promise that Oodle will get back with you in a certain time span. Well it doesn't happen! I would never send money for a pet thru this website due to the fact they will not help you if you are scammed knowing your complaint isn't answered. I legetically listed puppies for adoption. I do no shipping, listed them in my area and do have the pets I'm listing. Good bye Oodle, I've found a website that is legitimate for my listings..
Answer: Don't get a dog in less u can put your hands on it the people hot me just after my dog passed away and I told them about it and myself having cancer as well I will never trust anyone again and they said they was in the same state as me but was out of town seeing family it's all bull shit
Answer: It's a scam. I got ripped off and got the Fbi and secret service involved.
Answer: I really don't know if they are all scams. I have inquired about pugs being at a distance away but just didnt feel comfortable. I even talked to the sellers but just decided to pass on the chance of maybe losing my money. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yeah why is oodle still operating. This is were the government should step in to protect US citizens
Answer: Obviously the scammers are one step ahead of Oodles... The scammers probably email and complain about the legitimate deals, so they have a better chance of being contacted. Oodles needs to have true Animal lover's be in charge of there site.
Answer: This site is a scam - major scam - - don't ever buy from Oodle. Laden with scammers.
Answer: No. But be very careful of what's offered. If it is too good to be true it's a scam. Also, don't wire any money to someone/business you don't know. You will never see again. Credit card or Paypal. If they won't accept them then don't do business with them. You can recover your money from either.
Answer: I agree with you that most of the listings are scams. I wanted to purchase a Macaw or an African Grey and every ad was nothing but false information. I even had one person send me pictures of the birds he was offering. When reading the meta data for the pictures I discovered that the pictures were older than the birds he was selling. I don't understand how this site has not been shut down because of the amount of misinformation and downright criminal acts that it allows.
