I have been a customer of Onstar since May 2003. For over a decade they were a good, reliable company. However, in June 2020, they reshuffled their plans increasing prices on them all. I was not informed about this by mail, email, or phone. The $21.55 being charged to my credit card every month was not enough for any of their programs. Yet, they continued to charge my card. I was recently informed that although I am paying them every month, I am not considered to be an active subscriber and that they would NOT provide any promised services. I called customer service who promised someone from corporate would explain why they were still charging me. I was NEVER called. The charges continued. I had to get my credit card company to refuse the charge. I believe that they owe me a refund for AT LEAST the last 27 months which is my best guess as to when the new plans took effect. To continue to take my money for services that are refused is illegal. The taking of the money every month is an implied contract. This is fraud, pure and simple.
Answer: You can call the 800 number, but the wait time is always long.They don't estimate the wait time, nor do they have a call-me-back option. Frustrating.
