I find no fault with this review, in fact, I am very pleased. It may be that the beginning was a little rushed. This started out as a short story. My first attempt at fiction. I wanted to get it set up and running to see if anyone would be interested. Well, they were. Instead of going back and reworking the beginning, I picked up where I left off. Leaving room for the prequel I plan to write. I did all the work on this myself, so I'm quite tickled with 3out of 4 stars.

The marketing assistance made possible by Online Book Club book of the day promotion, pushed my novel to unexpected heights. #1 in Biographical Fiction, and #4 in Action & Adventure Romance. I greatly appreciate their work.

OnlineBookClub has been a difficult road for me. I signed up to be a reviewer, only to recognize how I needed to improve my own writing style and ability to follow strict guidelines. I have stepped away, often, because I was not prepared for the honest criticism and advice from the professional team on my reviews. I think that I have great reviews, but do not follow the grammatical and content guidelines. I am drawn back to the company because of its subtle ways to improve my writing and reviewing.

OnlineBookClub is for both writers and readers—they bring the two together! OBC got me a new, expert review of one of my books, MUSINGS OF AN OLD AMERICAN DURING THE PANDEMIC. The review was thorough and became useful in promoting the book. It also gave me a chance to feature the book as Book of the Day which garnered 60 responses. OBC sent me all 60 which have been very useful in judging how a broad sample of people, worldwide, reacted to my book. Very helpful!

I have seen the onlinebookclub.org advertisements on Facebook and didn't take the time to go to the site because I thought it would be another Facebook scam that pulls people in with the word "free" and then asks for your credit card number. I will gladly admit that I am wrong. Onlinebookclub.org will pay you for reading! The challenge is that you will have to submit a review following very specific guidelines. If you love to read and you are a good writer, please take the time to look at this site.

After discovering this site, I quickly learned that OnlineBookClub has much to offer. For avid readers, the latest books are available hot off the press with frequent new entries. Readers can rest assured that quality reading is being offered. All books are reviewed by a team of experienced reviewers who are committed to following the OnlineBookClub reviewing rules and will give impartial and honest opinions. Readers who are so inclined could also become part of the Review Team. The OnlineBookClub site is user-friendly for readers and reviewers alike. Hundreds of books are available. As an author, I truly appreciated the fact that this reviewer actually read my book. With fantasy adventure, a reader must take a leap of faith with all that is impossible and combine it with what is possible. While kids do this readily, adults sometimes have trouble with this concept. So, kudos to OnlineBookClub for finding reviewers who enjoy escapism and have fun with fantasy! The Krystal Winkle series combines reality and education with fantasy; something different for middle graders.

OnlineBookClub is an ingenious idea for supporting writers and booklovers. There are timelines for reviewers to follow which are flexible, but they do encourage good time management practices. The guidelines reviewers have to follow are detailed, but they ensure a good quality review and push reviewers to challenge themselves and improve the quality of their reading and work. Reviews are thoroughly checked and scored before publication and reviewers benefit from the feedback they receive. There are opportunities to discover some amazing books. Payments are made as promised for each published review. I am incredibly happy to be part of this community.
