Your contractor Precision is scamming and misleading OneGuard to cover their lie to get more money from you. Per our conversation, you stated Precision said when they place a seal wax and it fell through. Ask yourself, why did it fall through? The picture I took of the seal isn't a 2 1/4 seal but a smaller wax seal. Of course, it will fall through which is their intent.
The initial service request with IGD Plumbing stated the flange needed to be replaced because it was worn. There reasoning for getting more money from One Guard was to tell me OneGuard will not pay for it. Then proceeded to get authorization to replace a wax seal. However, while he was getting authorization, I checked with OneGuard about flange coverage. I conveyed to him the flange is covered and he wasn't very happy with me. However, No mention of broken pipe. IGD came out several times without any resolution.
What is baffling to me? OneGuard continue to have contractors like Precision and IGD go into customers homes. Customers feels like Home Warranty is for their peace of mind. We really need to research the Home Warranty then check for violations with TDLR, Reviews and Complaints. I researched IGD and Precision after the fact in which I found numerous Red Flags. I could've save myself a lot stress, wasted time and had the repairs done by a reputable company. As you can see below, there aren't any broken or crushed pipes. However, the worn flange should be replaced and wax seal.
