“Off Lease Only Miami - Mauro! Excellent serice”

Nana S.
8/9/16

MAURO! The best salesman I have encountered! Not only is he professional, knowledgeable, and patient. Answered all my questions. He didn't seem interest in the sell itself, but to provide the service. I am extremely happy with my purchase. So much so that I am going back with my Cousin and my Mom so that they too can purchase their cars with Mauro!

“Bad car fax”

Janine K.
9/3/22

I brought a 2012 Honda Accord in 2015 from the off lease palm beach location. I've had no trouble with the car and have barely put 30,000 miles on it as of September 2022. I was looking to trade it in for a van so went back to off lease palm beach. They refused my car saying there was something wrong with it. A frame damage, water damage, rebuilt frame, extra. Then proceeded to offer me to pay $49.99 for a car fax! We'll now I know the car fax they gave me was fraudulent! I advise everyone to do your own research and not trust them!

We had to beg the "salesperson" Sammy to email/text/call us back during the entire deal. After they received our bank's overnight package… every person at OLO went silent. It took them 2 weeks to get it loaded on a truck and delivered to us in Texas completely filthy. The communication in trying to get the vehicle registration completed was always late and only after we would call multiple times. Each time you call the main line you get the run around because nobody knows what is going on. It took a total of 3 months to finally get our plates. I called multiple times requesting the GM to call me back to discuss all the issues we had… nothing! This has been the worst car buying experience I have ever had. I would highly recommend you shop elsewhere for a vehicle and save yourself the incredible headache of dealing with the incompetent staff.

I went to the dealership thats on state road 7 in north lauderdale, Florida. The staff was very friendly at first and they let u test drive the vechicle and leave you alone to inspect the vehicle and everything. I also checked the car fax and checked the car was cheaper than they was selling it. I told them that and he told me to mention that to financial manager and I was like ok. When I went to see the financial manager he showed me the paperwork and basically they charged you higher than the state does for the tag and for everything. I told him this is ridiculous and I am not going to pay that and he told me he going to take care of that but I have to sign off on it that he showed me it. I was like ok and then I paid a)$1000 down on the car cause they wanted to sell it for a $12,000 but car fax said its value was only $10,000 they agreed at that price. So I was like cool but with their charges and other fees the final price would be $11,000 and if I take a year or more the final price would be close to $13,000. So I signed off and got my car. They told me the bank would call me or write me for the monthly payments and I was like cool. So almost six months went by I don't know who the bank was that was gonna finance the car and they keep telling me to wait for the bank. Then one day I am going to work and my car was about to get towed and the tow guy told me I am late on my payments and I told him I don't even know who the bank is so how can I be late on something if the dealership never told me who the bank was and so he pulled up the bank information for me and I called them. Came to find out the dealership gave them the wrong address and also the wrong amount of money. I didn't agree to paying $17,000 for no car. Apparently they rewrote the contract and Forge my signature on it and I have the paperwork they gave me. I sent that paperwork to the bank just show them proof to them that the dealership was lying. Told them I am only paying this amount. So off lease only are crooks.

Tip for consumers:
If you are going there to make sure u do the car fax and don’t let them do the tag or nothing. Make sure u get everything in writing and everything the way u want it and also the bank information and payment date and everything

Stay away from them. The finance people are scammers and liars. They will try to picket your down payment.

Purchased 2018 Acura RDX in June, 2021. Car showed clean carfax unlike 80% of their cars. The oil had JUST been changed, showed 100% life and clean. Air and cabin filters filthy, and never been changed. 90 days later changed oil on 11/13/21. Sharpie in writing on oil filter showed 04/06/2020, and a 17 month old cheap "PurePro" filter. OffLease changed the oil, and clearly left the 15 month old filter in place! Seems this group does the MINIMUM possible to move their cars…. If considering DO TAKE THE VEHICLE GO A MECHANIC.

Bought my car may 22nd. Told the management and finance manager i needed the title work done as quickly as possible because i was exporting the car and i needed a title to do that. I was assured by Bret my finance guy that he would make an effort to get my title to me as quickly as possible. Days went by i checked with my bank to see if they had the title in their name yet and nothing. I called the dealership 3 days in a row spoke to their: customer service" who assured me they sent Bret an e-mail and his boss and the people that do the titles boss an e-mail and someone would call me back. I got 0 calls back. Another week goes by and still no title. I spoke to the county on 06/22(31 days after i purchased the car) and they stated that Off Lease had not sent in any paperwork at all for my title. (legally they have 30 days to do it) I called again and again on 6/22-6/23 & 6/24 and finally got someone who handles the titles to call me back. They stated that my "cash" deal for some reason was returned to Bret and they just received it(this is now 34 days after i bought the car) the women then began to tell me that they were backed up and she would get to it as soon as she could.(if they are backed up hire more people so the client does not have to suffer) she then also tried to tell me the state/county was backed up and i would not get the title for a month.(leaving the country 07/29. What she didn't realize is that i spoke to the county and they stated that what the woman said was a lie they were fully staffed and had been for 2 months. When i bought the car everyone was happy and willing to help me with anything i needed. As soon as they got my sale and my money they did a complete 180. Several calls and no answers, they are currently over the timeline(30 days) they are allowed to get my title in my banks name. If i do not receive that title soon i will be deployed and i cannot get the title to export my car. This is a total disaster caused by the finance manager and title company they use to do their titles. If bret had rushed it through like he said he would this would not be a problem. I am sure there are thousands of their customers that are not getting deployed that would allow me to this one time go ahead of them in line. This is my 3rd car from them in 4 years and i am sorry to say my last. I believe one of the reasons for this disaster is the new owners a capital management company. The original owners had that store running like a top i am sorry to see it fail to a standard i once held in high regard. I wish i could give no stars for the way i have been treated especially when the price i paid according to the kelly blue Book said it was $3000 over the current KBB pricing not under like they are always bragging about plus their $499 hidden dealer fee and additional $95 tag/title agency fee on top of what it cost me to transfer my tag

Tip for consumers:
there too big for their own good they really no longer care about the customer

I was interested in offlease only due to what I had originally thought was a reputable car dealership!
That turned out to be a BIG mistake.
First salesman named Jeremy started out handling my application and request the "right way."
However, he failed to get back to me the same day even though I submitted all docs requested by 11:00 am!
Next day, I emailed Jeremy asking him to call me, he NEVER did! I called and spoke with him, of course, he denies receiving email and sends me over to a so called "finance manager" names Jason.
Jason says ok, "I got you financed with Ally" how soon can you be here?
Of course, my response was, are you serious? First, I don't here back, then I wasn't told about terms of the financing, third, I am over 550 miles away!
I said, please provide terms of the finance first, because once I get down there, I am going to buy a car, not the very same car, maybe another similar one, after all, you seem to have plenty of options.
He said" I will call you back with the terms" mind you, that was on a Saturday in AM.
Of course, the nonprofessionals don't keep their word as usual!
I call on Monday and speak to Jeremy, the salesman, once again, I remind him of the horrible service I am receiving. He says," Jason is off till Tuesday"!
As if Jason is only finance manager!
I ask to speak to the manager, Juan.
Like all others, Juan appeared professional at first and courteous as he listened intently to my plight.
Juan says " I am not happy this happened to you" says let me check with other finance manager on
Duty tonight and see how to ger this done. He continued to say," are you available till 9:00 pm tonight?"
It was around 6:00 PM when he said that.
Sure enough, the "pro manger" doesn't skip a beat, he calls me at 8:58 PM to say " I am sorry we had so much to do and not enough finance mangers working tonight but I promise you I will call you tomorrow and ger this done"
That was as good as this so-called pro could be!
Next day came and now it's 8:30 PM and I haven't heard from Juan!
I call and speak to Juan who had the following to say: "THE CAR WAS SOLD YESTERDAY"
Offer no apology to fact we were talking night before way till the close at 9:00 pm and he never ever mentions it!
His excuse was: I DIDN'T KNOW, WE SELLA LOT CARS, THIS OEN SOLD "DIGITALLY" as in online.

Now it's time to move on and NEVER EVER deal with such an unprofessional organization.
All I can do is share my story and stick mostly to the facts.

FOLLOW UP TO PRIOR REIVEW
(BUYER BEWARE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM OFFLEASE! If I could give Offlease Orlando 0 stars I would. I bought FOUR cars from them at once at the end of November 2021 so I would think someone there would care to help. Of the four cars purchased 2 of them had issues that Offlease Orlando has not and apparently will not fix. One of the vehicles Purchased was a 2016 Ford Mustang. The first thing I notice is the USB ports do not work and what makes it worse is 2 days after the purchase the car wouldn't start due to a dead battery. I took the mustang up to off lease and they said "it just needs a new battery and a replacement USB harness." The battery was replaced and the harness was ordered. You can imagine my surprise when right after my 5 day warranty period the car dies again and this is a brand new battery. I take the car back to off lease and they say they fixed the issue but give me the car back with the check engine light on. THIS LIGHT WAS NEVER ON AND NOW IS AFTER THEY SUPPOSEDLY FIXED THE CAR! Also The Fiat Spider I purchased had a tire pressure light on and After I was told the tire just needed air when I purchased the Spider, I was surprised the tire pressure light didn't turn off after I filled the tires with more air. I was told by off lease that I just need to "drive it for a while" and the light would turn off, which I did. Only after I took the vehicle to Fiat did they show me, with the car lifted, the rim is bent which is why the sensor wont turn off. DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM OFF LEASE ORLANDO, WORK WITH GENERAL MANAGER MIKE HAMDAN, OR SERVICE MANAGER MONIQUE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ROBBED.)

This has seriously been the worst experience I have had with any car dealership. I was told that the mustang that keeps dying has no problem. When I go pick it up and start the vehicle the battery is nearly DEAD! On top of that the car was given back EXTREMELY dirty and I brought it in clean. Mike Hamdan assured me this issue would be address and it still has not!
