Hopefully as the site progresses, more features will be added such as the ability to read descriptions of items in the auction lineup, and the ability to make "Buy Now" type of purchases from within the auction room while the auction is going on...
Odzbodz.com is a better auction site than Ebay. The sellers are more trustworthy. The great people at Odzbodz.com have almost completed their new Live Real-Time auction - Land of Odz! The graphics will blow you away! This will be an auction similar to Tophatter, but with lower fees and more caring staff. All you have to do is go to Odzbodz.com and create an account. Once the new Land Of Odz is ready you will be notified.
I enjoyed the auctions & can not wait for the full experience once out of testing! The rooms were lively & well paced. Love the Enlarged Pic upon rollover. I found the creators to be on top of the testing, making improvements as the feedback rolled in. The exterminators were eliminating bugs at a frenzied rate. Testing is always a very interactive process. We are pleased to have testers who pay close attention to what is going on so we know what you are seeing. From a programmer's standpoint, we are unable to give it the testing that users give, so we appreciate your help in finding things that may not be functioning as you expect. I was lucky to help with testing of their new Land of Odz live auctions and I must say I loved it! So much fun bidding on great products, getting to interact with the individual seller while the item is on the auction block and getting to dress up your avatar in the finest attire worth wearing to a Land of Odz live auction. Everything was so professional and well planned and thought out. I can't wait until the grand opening of the Land of Odz Live Auctions!

Update: Well OdzBodz is now live and I can't tell you how exciting it is. I purchased some items and sold a few things. The owners are ACTUAL REAL PEOPLE that CARE. Which is so different from a different site I used to do business with. They are always working on improving the site and actually talk to you personally if you make a suggestion.

I really liked the ease of use of the programs. It didn't take long at all to use the inventory program and found the auctions very cute and entertaining.

This is a great site for sellers to make a little cash and not pay more to the site than they make. I see this site a great venture for small businesses.
At the time of this post, the OdzBodz final Value fee is 5%. The one time price to buy a store is $49. The final value fees in The Land of Odz Live auctions will be a flat 25cents per sale plus the designated final value fee for whatever auction your item is sold in. For the first year of operation, that will never exceed 9.5%. (This does not necessarily mean it will be increased after that)
Have bought fudge, jewelry, supplies, Designer, holiday ornaments, and several other items. Great place to find deals.
OdzBodz has been wonderful for me. The admins stay in touch with the members and make themselves available for us. The site is easy to use. I get sales. I can't wait for the live auctions to start.
