If there were more stars we would have rated this company higher because of the knowledgeable staff and Emily navigated us through every step and was able to make our business so much more energy efficient. Total rip off! My budget plan went from $158 per month to $323 per month. Rebate check is probably a scam too. Never Again!

Our experience was similar to what other reviews stated. Slightly less expensive gas/electric cost (approx. 10%) in the first month or two and then significantly higher (approx. 150%) in subsequent months. Couldn't cancel their service fast enough but only after a couple of ridiculously high gas and electric bills. The 20% rebate after one year of service would not begin to make up the difference.

I have received several calls from Tanisha at Ntherm. I explained the first time that I was not interested, she would not listen and went on with her spiel. I had to hang up as I was in a meeting, and she called back! Today she did it again. I was actually making a real quick run before work. But for some reason, the woman will not take no for an answer. They will vary your KWH rate with no notice. We never signed with nTherm as our electricity provider but ended up their customer after a series of buyouts. Our most recent bill for an all-electric 1600 sq.ft. House, Jan.-Feb.2024, was OVER $1200. Our KWH rate went from 0.174 in Sept. 2023, to 0.219 in Jan. 2024.
Buyer beware! They make you sound like they're giving you a good rate for the first month and then after that's it's usually way higher prices than utility company charges they're a scam.

A while back I filed a review of Ntherm complaining about their bait and switch tactics. I advised against doing business with them, and I shared that I had terminated the supply agreement and filed a complaint with the Ohio Public Utility Commission. Since then, I received a check from Ntherm for a large part of what I had paid them over the term of the agreement. There was no word of explanation from either Ntherm or the Utility Commission, but I assume that the refund was as a result to the complaint I filed. If you feel that Ntherm has overcharged you, I suggest that you file a complaint with your state PUCO.

If I could given a -******* I would! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY at all! THEY ARE SCAMMERS! They will give you a low rate then in a couple months they will triple your rate and that's how they get all their money back! I manage a building, a dentist office in the lower (Running 5 days a week) and another company upper ( running 2 half days a week) We have 2 bills: Dentist office $642.00 and Upper $816.49. That is insane! I called to argue this bill and they do nothing and they think their is nothing wrong with it! They need shut down!

I have received Several phone calls from the same person at my place of employment in the past month asking me to pull out my bill so that they can help me get the best rate on my Dominion bill. I have let her know on each call that I am NOT interested in changing anything. She doesn't take no for an answer and when I hang up, she immediately calls right back! This has happened every time she calls. I even had my boss answer her second or third back to back call the one day & he told her to quit calling here. Today I asked to speak to her Supervisor. The alleged Supervisor was no better than the CSR. She was just as pushy and instead of removing my number from her call list like I asked her to do. She just kept trying to push me to give her my rate information. I ended up having to hang up on her too because the call was getting nowhere! Absolutely ridiculous! I told her it was becoming harrassment at this point!

Brooke from Ntherm called and I told her I wasn't interested and to remove phone number from calling list. She proceeded to harass me with 2 more calls. She refused to listen to me and I finally blocked. She was very obnoxious and rude and persistent in calling 3 times in a row.

Called my office 3 times back to back to back and tried to trick my CSR into giving a Credit Card number claiming they couldn't run our payment! We use Columbia Gas for our gas and our electrical is ran by our city in Westerville. I'll be reporting these shady business practices wherever I can as all of our calls are recorded. After upper management spoke with them on the phone and told them we were not interested the representative kept pushing, was rude, over talking us and wouldn't take no for an answer. I know how these 3rd party companies work they promise a lower rate and before you know after that trial period it is nearly as much as who you were with and at times more and leaving them is a nightmare. My biggest complaint though still is their attempts are trying to steal credit card info over the phone!
Ntherm (electric & natural gas carriers) called my wife's business (amid the present global political & economic debacle since 2020) offering "low utility rates" upon end of contract with the previous carriers.
Looking into it, everything seemed LEGIT & she decided to make the switch & lock in their "decent rate" due to rising costs on EVERYTHING.
Here's where it gets suspicious:
Countries presently in UNRELATED civil, economic & militarial unrest "go to war"...& for some reason, Ntherm decides to "double rates" due to this (some excuse about "the global economy & resources in a global conflict" b. S.)
Those countries' economies & resources have NOTHING to do with OUR economy & resources... ESPECIALLY when resouces DO NOT originate from there OR ship to that area from HERE, economically; so it should NOT "impact unrelated resources" like they claim it has.
(Economics 101, folks).
Sure... there are oligarch-type political entities HERE in league with those oligarch-type political entities over THERE... but ALL the resources Ntherm was claiming to DOUBLE the cost here do not ship from here to there NOR originate from there to HERE.
Highly Suspicious.

"Yes...& so-called business entities such as YOURS create them, so YOU will immediately terminate our BREACHED-BY-YOU contract WITHOUT any surprise penalties, either... POST HASTE" I reply.
These UNETHICAL "business practices" are becoming a rampant problem.
