Shipping came in multiple packages on different day for the Shelter Coat - it was a little confusing and I thought I had the wrong product. The instructions were reasonable to follow, but didn't describe how to put the doors on early enough - had to take some stuff apart to put the doors on correctly. In the end, the shelter coat is an excellent product - very impressed. Using it to store wood pellets for the winter and I'm confident that it will do a good job. Large enough that I'm storing spare yard equipment in it also. I didn't receive one thing in my order at all - despite a message to customer service - never got a response to it. It was a stone for fragrant oils for wood stove. Small part of shipment so I let it go.

As an AD military family, we inquired if the company offered a discount (which many do, however it's NEVER an expectation). We received a response that the company "doesn't just have coupons to hand out" and to "sign up for the newsletter for a discount code" ((ironic how they don't have discounts for military but if we sign up for the newsletter we actually get a discount code-- a discount just handed out)). Seeing as how I've been in customer service for 2.5 decades, I approached the company to let them know this could have been handled better but I never received a corporate response, just one line from the email inbox that stated "we apologize for the inconvenience". I'm truly disappointed that companies like this exist. If you don't offer a military discount, all you need to state is "I'm sorry, we don't have any discounts for military, but please feel free to sign up for the newsletter for a discount code". The lack of respect for potential customers, proper business correspondence, and poor wording choices have helped me decide I won't be shopping from Northline or any of the other stores under the Online Stores umbrella. I will steer people away as well. Customer service is everything in this day and age. Learn to be respectful, and hire and teach people how to handle customers with respect.

Wood rack was good quality and sturdy. Delivery was less than a week. A little challenging for one person to assemble and a second set of hands could have helped. Good thing just 8 screws and bolts so overall easy assembly. Looks great in the back of the house and just a perfect size for what I needed. I'd recommend Northline to anyone who needed anything outdoors related.
Besides being hounded with emails; the chimney cap is supposed to be welded in 3 locations, but only one was welded. The other 2 weren't even attempted to be welded? I had to tac weld them to make it usable?

I purchased a chimney liner through Northline Express that was described as 316L Stainless. I received the shipment very quickly and was quite impressed - until I read the box. The seller sent me a cheaper 304L Stainless that is not compatible with my furnace fuel type. I promptly contacted them within minutes of delivery to find out that they do not have a direct phone line. I got an answer by OnlineStores.com who would then reach out to the vendor. OnlineStores personnel were very friendly and as helpful as possible. However, Northline did not return any of the communications sent to them through OnlineStores. It was been almost 2 weeks with 3 phone calls and 2 emails to them with no response.Buyer beware - avoid.
