Great company that's going to have what you need. And as a bonus, check out their videos with Mark on Youtube. Really knows his stuff and will show you how.
Having so many bad companies out there the only reason that 5th star is not there yet is because of my skepticism on whether this will be a good opportunity or not.
I am currently on their 'onboarding' call and I listened the whole time and never once did she mention anything about pricing, and when i sent a question in the chat asking about the pricing and if they require it up front or if I can wait until I get my first gig before committing to them, her response was that she already gave that information in the video call. I replied that I heard the whole thing and never heard any pricing amount (cuz i WAS listening to that to see if it was legit or not). She AGAIN just replied that she already gave me that information and doesn't understand my question...which was if there was an option for a month trial or a way to make sure I'm getting work before paying...so it clearly was the typical political non-answer answer. She gave me a number to call, so I'll see if they do the same thing and continue the non-answer answers which will tell me to not waste my money and just stick with a Backstage account, as I have gotten lots of work from that to more than make up for the $199 yearly Backstage costs. They will be charging $500 a year plus the $100 for doing essentially the same thing Backstage does for me but perhaps a little more personal touch, so could be worth it ONLY if I was able to see that I WILL be able to get work through them to cover and go beyond the cost to them yearly. I could see it being a really good system and for the cost and what they claim they could do, as long as i'm making at least triple a year of their total costs through work they get me, would I be on board with it and see the value. But I don't think it's fair to ask up front and not be certain. Even Backstage offers a 75% discount to new members for 3-6 months (depending on the deal at the time) so you can test them out before comitting to their full price.
Kinda weird you didn't mention the fee until the end and then it charged me $99, which I thought was waved for this month
I've taken some acting classes in high school. I can do voices/accents, I also produce electronic/ sample based music
Great casting call, I look forward to more workshops, so I can find my direction, which happens to be straight up through the roof!
So far it's been okay. I just don't want this to be a gimmick as I have worked in this industry before.
This wasn't as nerve-wrecking as I thought. She makes this process seem like everyone's dreams could be a reality.
The ad was soliciting extras for the TV show the blacklist
This was very informative, but I wish there was more information up front. For example, my screen was black the entire time. If that is normal, I would have liked an explanation of what to expect.
Money making scheme. They don't tell the truth about how this business works.Don't fall for this.
Save your money.
That over view is completely cap(false) don't not waste your time, energy, or money with this nine9 BS
They lie about costs and what they actually are. Any agency will only make money from projects you are in. Nine9, The Unagency is a huge scam.
Excellent casting call. I thoroughly enjoyed all the information from Ms Lowna's. I look forward to working with NINE9
I have always had a passion for Acting. I play a Good Comedic Mom, and have done some modeling in the past.
Everything is very brief with the call. It's like here take my money in hope of making money.
Answer: Oh yeah very easy but the reps explained to me that I would be refunded
