I read the comments which come from approximately 24 right wing handles with a few far left wing handles to make it appear balanced. It is not a site that is particularly friendly to reasonable and respectful comments with factoids which favor democrats. They have mods which do not use a mod banner who will shadow ban. Those mods are very right wing with their comments. The foul language used in the comments fields is also indicative of a site that doesn't practice what it preaches. I stay away.
This site is obviously liberal. I use it to "see what the other side is thinking" to stay unbiased. Notice most of their reporting is about social news, not the things that are important as a country.
I wouldn't follow newser if i still didn't have a netzero account, they will claim to be unbiased with a straight face. All they publish is right bashing articles, you will never see an article criticizing a democrat, and they try to play the sympathy/race card on felons/terrorists/left extremists. But the worst thing is their articles seem to be written by sophomore students in a liberal arts community college majoring in journalism. The one thing they are strong on is if you follow their rhetoric they'll love you, cross them and they'll block you LOL
I have not seen one derogatory story on the liberal left; while any story they print about Republicans, if it is negative, is told with a joyous tone.
I thought that Newser was a neutral portal for all kinds of news. But after subscribing for a few months, the left slant is more than obvious. Unsubscribe.
Newser is about as left wing and socialist as you can get, if you want to crow about the benefits of having a dementia patient in the white house, or how its BLM and Antifa's right to burn and loot they'll welcome you with open arms, but you say one thing that goes against their Marxist rhetoric and they will ban you in a heart beat.
My e-mail carrier, Juno.com, has this news aggragator as their homepage. Most of their so called 'unbiased' news articles are so leftist, I can't read them anymore. No objectiveness here.
Many stories I have read from this news website, I have also compared to the reporting of BBC, NPR, Fox, and AP. There is a liberal bias but not to heavy.
I would consider this reliable news.
