They seem like a great product at first but they do not stand up to use. I had 3 that all broke in the same place, right on the stem near the ball, within a few days of being in my vehicle! When I contacted customer support, they asked for pictures which I immediately sent. It has been 9 months and no replacement or refund! Now I had another one break and they say I am out of the 90 day warranty period! It would be a great product if they were well made, but they are not. Don't waste your money!
I have bought tons of them and given bunches away But the one in my kitchen broke off behind the ball joint. I guess that is a common problem and I should have had it happen sooner. I've had it for about 8 months or so and have really enjoyed it, but now I'm really frustrated. Someone said they used a dowel and glued it back on and it works great. I'll have to try that next.
Sure these seemed great when I had originally purchased my 4 pack for the family. Initially, they worked as designed but as time wore on the screws in the base of the magnet rattle loose and the magnet base splits in two and the little black tiny screw is lost in vehicle forever. I was down to two working mounts and we were in the middle of a large move when the one in my truck broke. I missed the warranty deadline by 28 days and all they said was you should have told us sooner. Really? Don't waste your time and don't waste your money. These are garbage.
Good concept, poor design. Bought 3 and arm breaks off below ball after after 3 months. Warranty out. Would think they would last/built differently for strength. Called company they told me to purchase replacement parts. Would not buy again. Buyer beware. I drilled a hole where it broke, added a small dowl, glued it well. Now works great
Purchased the product and never ever received it, called twice, With 3 weeks in between each call and they keep saying it's coming and it doesn't. This company will go bankrupt and If they don't they should have.
Thankfully I only spent $40 but I won't ever see my product.
I bought these for myself and my daughters. My mount failed, broke behind the ball mount. It happened after 90 days (of course) so they would not warranty it. It is so thin, you have to wonder if it is a designed weak point so they can sell more...
Not sure why BUT it is my 4th one that has broken and in the same exact place. I do have to say they have replaced everytime for free BUT what a pain. The call. Then the email. Then the proof. Then it happens again in 3-4 months. Customer Service at NATO told me in Dec 2018 that they are having stronger ones manufactured. Lets hope. But again product has been a piece of crap HOWEVER Customer Service has ALWAYS replaced
Well, thats for sure. Wouldn't hold my cell phone at all! Slide right off the magnet. Bought ten to get the best price. Now what to do with them? Great idea, bigger magnet and made to hold the phone when driving. Bumps hell.
I received a limited warranty with the NatoMount that I purchased. It warrants the product for one year. My NatoMount lasted about eight months and then broke at the stem. It seems to be a common problem. I would not (will not) buy again.
The only problem I have found with this mount is the screw for the magnet comes loose and the magnet falls off. If you screw it in and glue the screw, it should last forever. I have them in all my vehicles.
I purchased 5 of these to get the price break. Gave one to a friend, put one in my car, and one in my RV, gave one to my daughter. The one in my car: The magnet part came off, I couldn't find any screw, and had to Gorilla Glue it back on. My friend's: Same problem. My RV: Held for about a month then would fall every time I hit a bump. Had to move magnet to outside of thin case and worked better. Then the stem broke to where it can't be fixed. My daughter's: Hasn't used hers yet. The extra: Probably be thrown in the trash.
Sent Customer Support a message and a picture. Reply was if it is inside the 90 days, they will replace. If outside, I can buy replacement parts. Told her if I had known it would only last 90 days I wouldn't have bought it. Her reply was that hers has worked for over 2 years. Like I care? Maybe they made them better when they weren't making so many and quality fell of the table when they started selling more?
They obviously don't stand behind their product.
The mounts would not stick to my dashboard. I received a RMA but Natomount refused to issue a refund or worse, even to accept the returned package. 4 months after I sent the package it was returned with a sticker saying 'unclaimed, unable to forward'. The customer service is just awful. The reviews for about 1/2 the people that buy the mounts are unfavorable and now having to deal with 'customer service' people I can understand why.
I purchased these and I was very disappointed, the adhesive on these is very cheap and kept falling off, it didnt even get very hot and it fell off over and over. When it did stick the magnets didnt hold well either. I returned these, I ended up buying from Magna Mounts (www.magnamounts.com) pretty much the same but made better, great adhesive and the magnets seems stronger as well.
The Nano Mount does a great job keeping my cell phone in place, not so much my GPS device. The adhesive pulls right off of the device, making it useless in the car. Which is too bad, since that is the main reason why I ordered the Nano Mount, to replace the previous mount that I was using for the GPS.
Good product but some features are very complicated. I have watched the tutorial of the product features to learn so I can use completely of this.
