I ordered a part only because it stated that it would arrive the next day. When I finished the check out online it then stated in would arrive in 6 days which was borderline OK as I was going out of town the next day but still, 6 days is much different than 1. Then when the shipping label was created UPS stated a day or two later. I have my fingers crossed it may arrive early but I am not holding out. Next day shipping turned into a week.
The part in the photo clearly shows a part made in the USA.
The part received was made in China,
We paid the higher price for made in USA, but did not get it!
$4.90 for a gallon of washer fluid! Wa wa epics be cheaper and poor attitude from the sakes people too! Never again
Before this experience, I was a happy customer for 20 years. I bought a NAPA Legend battery less than 12 months ago, it died, they said they could take it as a core and sell me another one, full price. That's not right, I will never go back.
Yesterday I purchased a fan motor resistor (resistor only, no fan motor) for a 2011 Honda Fit from a NAPA dealer near me for $64 and change plus sales tax. Thought it was a little high but it is what it is. I installed it in minutes and checked on line at a few different parts houses. Most of them were less than $25.00 for the same part. So, if you are thinking about purchasing parts from NAPA, check around BEFORE you get OVERCHARGED like I did. Our company has dealt with NAPA for many years but their competitor in our area will now get my business. So long NAPA.
Ordered a set of ceramic pads and rotors on August 6th 2021 online from NAPA. Installed a week later. Contacted them October 29th 2021 because rotors are already pulsating from warpage and the brake pads create way too much dust and constantly keep my wheels covered in it. They just said sorry, nothing they could do for me. I went there to get the good stuff, but all I got was the good f*****g. Back to Autozone I go!
NAPA is terrible. Return policy is only 30 days. If you work on vehicles in your leisure time, this is probably not where you want to get parts. I was doing front end work on an old 4runner -upper and lower ball joints, tie rods, and brakes along with some other miscellaneous stuff. I bought calipers, rotors, and pads from NAPA online because they had a deal going on knowing that I wouldn't be able to get to the actual brakes for several months as they were the last thing I'd be putting back together. When I finally got to that point I opened the box to realize I had the wrong pads. None of the local stores would let me exchange them because "they are privately owned and it takes forever for them to get refunded from corporate". When I tried a return online they cited the 30-day policy even though they are the ones who made the mistake. I am out $45 for the pads but I could have gotten the parts elsewhere for $20 more even with the sale NAPA had at the time. So I went with NAPA trying to save $20 and in the end it cost me about $25 extra. Now I have brake pads laying around that I have no idea what to do with. 2 stars removed because they refused to fix their mistake and another removed because their corporate setup is so difficult I couldn't take care of it locally. I left 2 stars because I share some blame by not verifying part #s when they came in and the lady I talked to on the phone was nice. Still, this all could have been avoided if they just sent the right part to begin with.
I am a woman who knows about cars.- I needed new wipers as the rain and snow in Buffalo, NY are a frequent occurrence. I was helped immediately with a smile and a few jokes from Brant and I asked him if would change my wipers for me and he did! I held my umbrella for him and I was happy as a clam! THANK YOU! I can see " Clearly now my wipers are new!"
So we usually use a South Portland Napa they couldn't get the part for me so they sent me to Westbrook now we just bought the same exact hose from Napa in South Portland buy it's $20 more or $23 more in Westbrook than it is in South Portland so I asked the assistant manager why when I asked for the exact same hose did I get a differentHose that is $23 more he said they have different hoses I said yes but if you're Napa why would you carry the same hose so you charge me $23 more for this house doesn't make sense to me but the guy was a total $#*! when I said something. I will never ever buy a product from them ever again Jessica said that guys attitude
I placed an online order. When I called to see if it was ready they couldn't find my order. When I placed the order I was given a rebate code. No one in the store knows who to put an offer code in the system. Wanted me to wait for the manager. Smh. I will never come back again
I purchased front and rear brake pads and rotors for my wife's Subaru Impreza with NAPAOnline - the web site "confirmed" these were the correct parts for her car and stated the parts would be available for pickup in 30 minutes. Many hours later that afternoon I arrived at the store to pickup the part, but they still hadn't even pulled the parts! After waiting a long time and since I was the only customer in the store I asked the guy at the counter to verify that the parts were correct. He said the rear set was correct (he was wrong, they absolutely did NOT fit). He also said the front rotors I'd purchased were not correct (even though NAPA ONLINE showed they fit my car). The guy told me their part numbers are OFTEN INCORRECT so he really DIDN'T KNOW WHICH SET OF ROTORS FIT MY CAR! I got both sets of front rotors along with the rear and said I'd return the set that didn't fit.
However, when I went to install the rotors, the rear set were much larger than the stock (in fact even larger than the front rotors) and were very obviously not the correct part! The front rotors NAPAONLINE showed fit the car were ALSO NOT correct! So both sets of rotors I purchased online were INCORRECT - even though the guy in the store confirmed the rear set was correct! NAPA Simply has no idea what the correct parts are!
The brake pads did fit, however even though these are "premium" brake pads, the backing plates were MUCH SMALLER than stock and didn't even fully cover where the calipers contact the back of the pads! SO CHEAP! I didn't have time to find other pads so I just installed them with the old backing plates and returned both sets of incorrect rotors!
NAPA HAS NO IDEA WHAT PARTS FIT MY CAR! I WILL NEVER EVER SHOP NAPA AGAIN!
Napa are scammers. I was offered a lower price for a part that my mechanic (who is my brother in law) was offered. It was $120 more for his repair shop to buy than the price I can buy it for. When he called their head office they did not offer any explanation of the price difference and told him "that's the price they sell it for repair shops". So, I bought it at the lower price and he installed the part. I did have to pick up the part, rather than have free delivery. Makes me think their free delivery is not free, its 120 dollars. I could not afford this part so my brother in law advised me to call around to suppliers and this is how I found out.
My 3 experiences this year with Napa have been a 100% disaster. First, I don't look like the mechanic type. I don't know if that's the reason but I swear every time I step into a Napa they look at me like I don't belong there. 4 to 5 people behind the counter yet NO ONE will help me. They are sure to do their stocking/computer work or take a phone call and make you wait until you are last. Not a good business model for a customer who took the time to drive there. Second, most are independently owned, and will NOT take a return from any other NAPA. Total pain in the rear when you happen to be far from home and get a part which you later don't need. Once I even had an unused $4 banjo bolt with receipt from 3 days earlier, and they refused to take it back because they were an independent store. Next time I will stick with Autozone, O'Reilly, or Advanced Auto, all which have lower prices anyway. Advanced Auto will even deliver small orders for free to my house. See you in the history books NAPA!
I bought 2 batteries at store which where supposed to have online rebates of $20 each. Went online and claim number on receipt was rejected. In fact the whole site was very frustrating to use. Either fix it or shut it down.
Every time I look for auto parts and I look on Napa it is like 10 times more expensive and I'm not even exaggerating. For example I just looked for an alternator for my vehicle and it was a $197.99, I looked on Napa and it was over$800. I'm waiting for this company to go bankrupt because I don't understand how people can buy stuff so severely overpriced, you're only paying for a name.
Horrible service. I thought since my local store knock themselves out to provide excellent service, I expected the same with online. I contacted their customer support and this is the response customer support sent back: "Unfortunately, our resources to assist you in this matter are limited. We ask that you please call our Support Team at *******272, M-F 8 am-5 pm EST to ensure your request is properly addressed. Thank you." All I was doing was asking about a lost shipment. They cannot help me with that.?
I ordered a part that was discounted. The order went through, my credit card was charged then my order was canceled. Was on hold with customer service for over 45 min and that's after I was transfered to several other people. I was told I can go to my local Napa store and purchase the item but it would be at full price not the discounted price online.
Ordered a gas can, Napa sends car Mirror. I return car mirror and get the run around trying to get my money back. Get excuses like the system is down, try again tomorrow or we'll process which they don't. It is a scheme to keep your money. DO NOT ORDER FROM NAPA
Went to get parts at the store on causeway blvd employee Luis, made bad comments about my make of vehicle, made me very mad, should keep comments to himself
I purchased adopted One brake pads for all 4 wheels. I didn't get 6,000 miles out of them, all pads the corners wore completely out they wouldn't give me my money back said it only had a 90 day warranty paid 159.00. DON'T BUY auto parts from NAPA they sell Chinese defected parts.
Answer: A very legit company that has for decades treated me very well.
Answer: Fuel pump for classic roadrunner didn't last 50 miles. I suppose 'success' is lucky i didn't eat a $100 wrecker fee. It never started cold without primer until i replaced the new NAPA fuel pump with another new NAPA fuel pump. At least it starts easy now when cold. After doing job twice. The chevy truck has been yard art for two years, as i don't really have time to do every job repeatedly. The store has the used broken part they charger me $300plus for. This isn't a success story, it's a story of failure, no honor or honesty in store, and non-existent quality control.
Answer: I thought they were a reputable business but I was wrong they are crooks and don't honor their warranty's.
