I had a good shopping experience. My order was promptly processed and delivered. No hitches, no problems.
All Best
There was uncertainty around why I couldn't purchase a 'premium' domain, which I could on other sites. Took a little while to get to the bottom of it.
That was rather irksome, but other than that - awesome site, awesome service, awesome prices.
Totally unexciting, as it should be.
Very nice UI. Enjoyed the purchasing experience.
It is important to send reminders to the expiration of domains and have agile methods for renewal. I'm very satisfied and would recommend.
I love how simple it was to find what I wanted and check out. Simple is the best way to do it. Other companies throw many options to you during each checkout point and confuses things. Namecheap was straight forward and got the job done quickly. Thank You.
I had no problem moving three domains from Domain.com. I've had transfers conclude slightly faster but it was Namecheap's Move Your Domain Day so that may have had something to do with it. This was my first experience with Namecheap so I was fooling around and deliberately did not unlock one of the domains. They handled that by canceling the transfer after a few hours and having me resubmit the transfer order after unlocking it. I'm not sure if there's a more streamlined way to handle that or not. After I unlocked it and resubmitted it the transfer was completed in only 3 hours. The only real complaint I have is with the e-mailed text and downloaded PDF receipts. The e-mailed text receipts had corrupted postal addresses (Whois data was fine) and one of the downloaded PDF order summaries was reported as corrupt (but apparently fixable) by Adobe Reader. The format of both could be improved. I also think their web site interface could be cleaned up and streamlined a little bit but it's certainly not bad. (And it's not unnecessarily fancy, which is a good thing!) Overall, I'm thrilled with Namecheap so far.
Shopping was pretty easy and online customer service was a pleasant experience.
