I'm surprised the memory care side does not have any inspections. It is filthy and dirty.
The people they hire are pitiful, don't stay.
They don't even follow an " activities" calendar! Always an excuse. It's mainly for families to " think" their loved one staying active.
They're making a killing in money off of people, and never deliver what they advertise.
Place is dirty too. They don't want you to know that, so they have a lot of machines spraying out room freshener all over building so that you don't know how dirty it is. That's cheaper to do that than to hire someone clean.
You'll hate it here.
I would have to be there sometimes 2 and 3 times a day, it got so bad that I found so many things wrong and called it to their attention that they refuse to let me back into visit my mother because I was finding ants, poop on the floor, pee on the floor, grease and dirt hanging from the registers, people sitting in urinated pants, they didn't care that I was always bringing these things to their attention. So I was no longer allowed back there because I was taking photographs. Another lady whose mother was there, actually called the health department when she saw ants all over the tables. I've moved my mother to Preston Greens. What a tremendous difference. So clean,
Warm food and They were allowed to go outside and listen to live beautiful music amongst the birds and the flowers. They are stuck inside at Morning Point, never, ever taken outside because they did not have enough people working they said. So they were not allowed to listen to the breeze, listen to the birds, or feel the sun on their face. Very sad. I do have some photos on Morning Points site, of the ants crawling all over the table, poop on the floor, urine, people sitting around in urine soaked pants, filthy registers with grease and hair hanging from them on the ceiling, bugs, bed was never, ever made. One of the aides did not know how to make a bed and actually tried putting my mother's fitted sheet on sideways! I have photos! She had never made a bed before. They hire anyone off the street for cheap labor that does not know how to take care of anyone properly. I promise you, you'll be there daily... constantly worrying. I have plenty of pictures and photos and video, but my phone will only loan. Allow me to go back a couple weeks. But check other websites. That's why I put the photos, of ants crawling all over their tables with food. They probably figure since they're in memory care. They won't even know if they're eating bugs and that's just plain sad.
After a while, they would not let me go back anymore to visit my mom, I had to only visit her by the front door, so I would no longer take pictures of photos. How bad things really were. That's when I got Mom out of there!
And that's where they have a lot of the room freshener spraying in, at front door, with machines, so that you think the place is clean. Look around, you'll see the little machines. It's a trick, many places like this use so that you don't smell the urine. It's cheaper than hiring extra personnel to keep the place clean.

Tip for consumers:
So many lost loved ones in there, I moved mine before they took her too. She lost so much weight at Morning Point, that's what happened to the others. Once moved, gained 11 pounds in first 30 days!! They don't help feed these dear ones at Morning Point.

Absolutely horrible.

There's way too much to cram into one small area, but the place is filthy, especially with memory care. The rooms are so dirty and especially during the pandemic they were let go. Bathrooms were filthy, the floor molding was sticking out by a good foot or better, lights didn't work in the bathroom, the fans in the bathroom were so full of filth and dirt and grease, pills were not given correctly and I'd find pills under the bed or rolled inside the closet, Half disoved in the bathroom sink. Sheets were never put on correctly and they would try to put them on sideways. How stupid! Even fitted sheets! Bed not made at all daily and half hazardly, sometimes sheets weren't used at all! Just a blanket,... clothes were never hung up in the closet, clothes were thrown in the far corner of the closet, left sitting in wheelchair with wet urinated pants. Many of the residents, given soggy corn flakes for breakfast instead of a hot meal, memory care is never taken on any excursions or rides, never let outside for even lemonade social. Clothes or sheets stolen, At one point we could not find her sheets for the longest time, they accused me of taking them. Several months later, they were found STUFFED behind the facilities washing machine! Never an apology.

The smell of poo and urine throughout, so they have three hidden fans full of fragrances to blow into the air to mask the odor, poo ON the walls in hallway, or mashed into the carpet, urine on the carpet, and then people left in urinated pants. They then sit in the chairs, and then you or somebody else will sit on top of dry urine

The AIDS will sit on the sofas with their feet up on the couch tucked under their chin. I don't know who train these girls, but their families would be disgusted and how they treat furniture, the residents property, and the residents themselves.

Ants crawling all over the table, and on the food, I would see dirty socks laying up on tables, head nurse is not professional. At all. The executive director, in the year our loved one was there, I was there daily and up to three times a day to make sure she was taken care of, the executive director. I never saw one time on the Memory Care side, checking on things to make sure residents were healthy and cared for. Not once! No care.

Another residence family contacted me and noticed on Facebook that she (nurse) had very dirty jokes and sex cartoons on Facebook. Someone notified the owners and had her take it down. And to think she's in charge of caring for your loved one.
I cannot recommend this place at all. In fact, several of us moved out. One lady, her mother got her parent to a hospital because she looked so bad, but the nurse kept saying "she was fine", she finally got her to a hospital and she eventually died at the hospital. Very, very poor care.
Our loved one was put to bed with no pajamas on in the middle of winter and I knew this to be a fact as I would go in late at night or very early at 7:00 a.m. in the morning and she had no pajamas on and she was freezing. It's all about the comfort and easiness for the AIDS and not for the comfort of the resident.

Another family notified the health department ants crawling all over the food table.
There's a fresh fruit bowl out and nice drinks out for the assisted living side, memory care side gets no fresh fruit, and just plain old ice water and crackers for snacks. Empty bowl.
I go in one day to watch Mom do an activity which has to do with cutting coupons for the grocery store. They just left her sitting there, I mentioned something, so an aide gets up and just gets an old piece of newspaper and just let tells her to cut it up and they're not even coupons! They have an activities calendar, but no activities happen. And they would schedule them at the dumbest times like just before lunch. So that was their excuse. They could not do an activity because they were getting the residents to the table for lunch.
This facility has absolutely, positively, no common sense.
Our loved one has all their own teeth, they could not even help her brush her teeth. She would have to see the dentist three times in one year and he said it was the worst oral care he had seen given by of facility. She had 3 cavities! All due to their laziness and not getting good oral care twice a day. They would just put them to bed without helping with good oral care.
I could go on and on and on but this is not the place to be.
I tried to upload the pictures of the ants crawling on the table, the grease and hair literally, hanging down from the ceiling register clogged, the lights not working, the bed half made or made sideways, etc. Ones put the bed with no pajamas.
Just keep in mind, if you ever even use the assisted living side, the day may come where your loved one may have to go to memory care. It's not worth it.
Three of us moved to Preston Green's and there is a hundred percent world of difference. It's fantastic.
I how about 19 photos of morning point, they're absolutely horrible. From clothes being thrown on the floor in the back of the closet, to molding coming out from the walls, ( a foot or so) beds never made, sheets put on sideways. Can you believe that, sideways! Residents not dress properly nor bathe properly. Oral care is non-existent. Things constantly lost or stolen. What hurts also is residents are left in wet urinated pants. Sad how the elderly in memory care are cared for.

Filthy, dirty, no common sense used, ants, residents just sit in front of TV, poor snacks, no stimulation, some sit in urinated pants, the E.D. At time, never walked over there few times a day to keep an eye on things. More interested in tight pants and heels.
Corporate should make many unannounced visits, and inspect Memory Care.
General public doesn't see, behind locked doors. If they did, they wouldn't live there, as down the road, their lived one could end up over there.

They moved my mother over there, from assisted living side, THEN, they text me, she's moved. I was mad, no warning, didn't let me be there with her.just dumped these things in a memory care room.

Things like this, is what you can expect.
I got her out of there, moved to Preston I, what a world of difference. They told me, and I quote, " we won't hire anyone looking for a new job, looking for a transfer from Morning Point. That was music to my ears. Mom was finally safe and gained 11 lbs in her first month they showed me, at Preston Greens. Had warm food, balanced diets and no more water.and saltines for snacks. GOT REAL hot chocolate and FRESH fruit, hot meals. I went home and cried, finally an establishment that had a hold on how things ran.

Tip for consumers:
Photos on other websites. Pee, poo in hallways, ants galore in clothes to food, broken lights, dirt and grease hanging for registers, in bathroom, molding out 12-15" from wall, never fixed, tea bags sitting in soggy fowl of corn flakes, people sitting in urine filled clothes, pills dropped in floor, nurses don't make sure medicine is taken, in and on....one lady called the health department on them
