“Happy client”

I live in New Zealand and purchased a 1966 Mercury Monterey from JJCClassics via ebay. At first I was concerned because we weren't able to pick the car up for over and a month and Mike kept saying they were fixing little things on the car. This turned out to be absolutely true and the car arrived in New Zealand as described and I believe I paid a very fair price for this lovely car. MJCClassics carried out quite a few minor repairs which at the price I paid I would have expected to have to do myself. I am happy to recommend this firm.

“Bad business”

I bought for MJC Classic Car 1970 Dodge Coronet May 28/2019 and made FULL payment $ 24k (wire transfer) May 30/2019 (Mike ask for EXPRESS payment). And he promised I'll have car in 10 days. Until today September 10/2019 I don't have car and not even title. If Mike (business owner) answer phone or email that doesn't happen often I get ONLY just another promise when the car will be delivered. I highly recommended DON'T DO BUSINESS with this M... f... r.

Mr. Calhoon has new postings on his CLASSIC CAR website customer reviews if in fact they are true? I had posted before on sitejabber about the 1982 Lincoln Continent I purchased 2015 for 6k which in fact I had posted before it barely ran and needed 6k-10k or more work to be done to it to be in the condition it was posted on his website WWW.MJCCLASSICCARS.COM. Mr. Calhoon has posted a rebuttal to my post on here to try to play down and say my post was not truthful, etc again CHA. When I purchased the Lincoln I was not expecting a perfect car but I was not expecting a car that should be on a buy here pay her lot which in the condition it was in I would have not given him 1k for the car. He advertised it as everything worked on the car including the clock, the clock to my amazement was about the only thing that really worked. I spent after adding up all the receipts up over 4k to get the car running by a wing and a prayer! I tried to work with Mr. Calhoon to take the car back and give me my money but he refused so I had to get it running since I told him and he said to me it's a daily driver. I had given my truck to a friend who needed transportation so I had to fix the Lincoln. After sending letters to Pam Bondi, Local and state officials and calling Orlando's Channel 9 Action reporter He agreed to give me $5500 and go through a list of things he sent over with some kid who worked for him since he did not have the balls to come himself as he said he would. I got my purchase price back less $ 500 and I would get that if I retracted post about the way he did business. Any professional business would not mislead a consumer or advertise a car like he did which I have all the original postings, repair bills, the emails where he said I was paranoid among other things. Any business with Integrity would have not made a fraudulent postings. There are no laws in Florida to protect a consumer like myself or any other purchasers of classic cars, so my advice to anyone is don't' buy a car from MJC classic cars or any other dealer buy from a private owner and get the truth and don't get screwed. I would have been happy to get what I pay for the car and repairs. But I lost $4500 plus and I have all the documentation to back this up! INTEGRITY means: The quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness.

Tip for consumers:
He says he runs a family business with Christian values, fraud is not a Christian value. mjc classic cars has already has a complaint with the The Fl..Dept. of Motor Vehicles
for FRAUD in Advertising h practices fraud in advertising an he is dishonest dealer !

This review was written by an unstable client buying a $5,950 as is 34 year old car and demanding over $14K in repair money to fix it. The car was purchased back by my dealership. Once a complaint is posting, it cannot be removed.
We take care of out clients and make sure they are happy. Over 1,800 classics sold, four internet complaints...
