I ordered a new dining room table from Cymax on 10/25. Today is 11/24 and I still don't have my table. Metropolitan has been holding my table hostage since 11/3. I have been forced to cancel my family Thanksgiving. This did not matter to them in the slightest. I called 4x a day for 5 days and zero movement from the warehouse in NJ—a shipping company that can't move a package!
I had three sofas that they attempted to deliver and when I scheduled the delivery I told them to bring an extra man because they had a problem with the previous delivery and I had to get two extra men to get the sofas up the stairs. As soon as the delivery guy came in he saw where they were going and had attitude. I told him to remove the sofas from the boxes and he refused. They attempted to get the boxes up the stairs but they were too big and they scratched the stairs because they had a Little Rock embedded in the bottom of the box. Now they are refusing to pay the full cost of the repair. They are also not compensating me for my time and wear and tear on my car. The delivery location was almost 2 hours away from my home. This company does not care about your time or your property! Customer service is ridiculous and not reasonable. Would never use this company again for any delivery!
I ordered furniture from a store that uses this company. Long story short. See ya in court real soon.
