Ordered 3 vinyls that were in stock and were to be shipped in 3-5 business days according to my receipt, after one week I contacted customer support because my order was still stuck on processing and all they gave me was the cookie cutter "shipper just allocated stock" response and said my order would be shipped soon, another week passes and the order is still processing, I ended up canceling the order and placing it on another site and with no surprise the new order shipped in 2 days
Placed an order back on June 24th order shows in stock yet mine is still processing. I've contacted customer service three times and have gotten the same answer " our supplier has it allocated and you will receive an email when it ships" it's going on two months now, they had no issues taking my money but can't seem to supply the product, at this point I feel they have no concern if it ships or not they got paid and that seems to be their only concern. Would not recommend using this company, customer service is absolutely nonexistent.
I ordered $225 worth of vinyl over a month ago. The tracking is awful and gives you no indication when it will ship. You can email and they'll write back, but it only says something unhelpful like "rest assured, you'll get an email as soon as it ships." So you have no idea when you'll get it. On and on it goes until you try to cancel, then they say you cannot cancel since their third party is getting ready to ship it. It's sad because I think we're all looking for alternatives to Amazon and overpriced brick-and-mortar sellers, but Merchbar is not the place.
I read through the negative reviews here and they're all spot on. I will not be shopping here again.
I ordered three vinyl albums, received one. Items on 'backorder' never came in, and they never contacted me about any problems or with updates. After complaining by email I received many polite emails that told me conflicting information, promised me nothing, and were a waste of my time. They finally issued a refund to me 8 months after my order was placed. I would not order from them ever again.
I've made multiple purchases through Merchbar for various diffrent genre's of records. All of my deliveries have been safely shipped and well packaged. All the covers are in prime condition and all the records play with no issue. All of the merchandise is top notch and during their sales are often the lowest price for top new Vinyls and even obscure ones. My only issues has been a misinup of my address during my purchase which led to my order being canceled wirhout my knowlage. While frustrating I was able to see the issue and the support staff made it as easy as possibly to re-order and reprocessed it for me once I confirmed my want to repurchase. Overall a great site and Great staff.

The website says that the order can arrive in over 2 months, but it's been over 5 months since I ordered vinyl and after all 5 months I didn't receive any update about the shipment process!
I ordered also a vinyl from Spotify store of the same band (Covet) that was on pre-order and promised to start the shipment in July, and they did send an update.
It's like Merchbar doesn't want your money. Stay away at all costs!
What maybe nothing special for US based people, selling stuff that is obviously meant to be used by the customer 8and not for re-sell) with a sort of net price and letting internatioanl customers pay custom taxes etc, is - from a European perspecitve a joke and honestly boderlines fraud and scam. I was told, "it differs from country to country" haha, the unified EU market is therefore obviously a fake idea. You can't make this $#*! up. Any fake shop from asia does it better. I regret having bought something, never ever again.
I accidentally used the wrong card and had to cancel my order. They were quick to help me and got my order placed with the right card.
First they won't let me cancel at the second day saying that they already shipped (i had 14 days, shipped or not), but they shipped four days after my request. Then the tracking is awful, the reliable ones say the label is still to be made, and "their" site only shows a packaged bouncing around a never saying where. Of course, they are refusing refund always showing me that ghost bouncing.
Ordered a vinyl more then a month ago, after reaching out regarding the status. The response was " we cannot provide an update, due to warehouse changes." After reaching out 1 more timeI received the same response. I have since canceled the order and am now waiting for response and refund. There is zero inventory tracking or responsibility taken by the company.
As an artist on Spotify, they are selling our "official" merch with no contract in place. We've never received a penny, hopefully because fans have been smart enough to avoid them. One product they are offering is out of print so good luck with that. When we've reached out, the only response is "someone will be in touch. They are riping off both fans and artists. Stay clear, buy direct from artists when possible.
Placed an order at 7:48 Sunday morning (12/11/22). Immediately sent in a cancellation when I realized what I ordered was the lesser version of what my husband wanted (single lp vs 4 lp set). Immediately canceled and received the automated reply at 7:50. Two minutes! Got an actual human reply at 9:07 that they would 'try' to cancel the order. They didn't try anything at all - the order was not shipped until about 2 am on 12/13. Now they say it is not returnable because it is vinyl. This company is only after your money, and hopefully they won't stay in business long pulling these scams.
I ordered 4 items, two of which were stated to be fulfilled by Live Nation. Four weeks later I have received one item, and have two invalid tracking numbers for the other items. Their cust svc reply simply stated that they are from reputable shippers and they're certain they'll arrive. FTC mandates require that items be delivered in 30 days or refunded, so I'm sure the latter will be happening soon in accordance with federal law. The one star is for the $10 item with $3 tracking fee that I actually did receive.
Update: 12/8 - It took 4 days, but they gave me the %15 discount.
The Merchbar website said it gave me a 15% discount when I purchased an album, and it didn't. They shipped the product to the billing address and not the shipping address. I've been corresponding with them for three days, and they still need to give me my 15% discount, and I now I have to pay to get the product shipped to the correct address. No one should have to deal with horrible customer service like this.
I ordered two albums as a gift, different from each other, and they sent two of the same. When I contacted them to discuss recourse they said it was my system. The only offer to remedy was I ask the person who received the gift to mail them back on their dime. Not worth the risk or hassle, there are better options to shop than Merchbar. Oh, they still have not arrived to the person I was gifting either.
I am so upset! I bought a merch gift on Nov 22nd it said fast delivery a week after noone was replying, no shipment no info nothing. So I asked for refund and cancelled the order. I knew i wouldn't get the item before Christmas any more because noone cared to send it in the first place! They wouldn't give me the refund, and they didn't cancel the order. Jesus Christ, I really feel financially abused here. How can they force you to pay for something I rightly requested refund for before it was even for shipping and then cancelled. I found them on Spotify, I will so complain to Spotify it is not fair to force themselves against my will.
They are only a reseller. They don't have any "merch" or albums. They take your order and then fulfill it through other third party sources. Takes forever to get your product. Plus your shipping costs are A LOT higher than what they quoted because it's more third party vendors shipping to you.
What is worse, their policy for returns on vinyl records is HORRIBLE. They will not accept unopened vinyl records that are retorted. They will only take back a vinyl record if it is "defective" (but YOU pay return shipping.). So you don't open an item, but that still will not take a return. That is hella crazy.
POS company. Plenty more ethical companies selling merch. Move on.
