Never give you anything personal or any detail you could easily verify. Purchased trial membership for.99. When browsing through site, was offered "free" tokens to use for chats and emails. When I clicked to accept, I was charged $69.99. Called their "24" hour customer service line twice and got an automated message that nobody was available to assist me at the time, so I filed multiples complaints with PayPal, my credit card, the BBB, and the attorney general (consumer fraud division). A representative from the company finally called and tried to get me to accept a 50% refund, which I refused. The reviews say it all. This is a complete scam.

So many women on here that answer and chime in at every hour of the day but have no idea of where they live or the landmarks in the area. So easy to spot fake profiles...
This is a scam. The minute you log in you have tin of "women" by that I mean bots sending you texts. Many profiles disappear after 5 minutes. You can quickly see a pattern, of women messaging you twice within minutes and the no response. At times responses are definitely AI generated. I got my premium account yesterday and have instant regret. I'm going to try to get my money back, wish me luck. Facebook dating, and Bumble are much better, however as a male you won't get as many messages, but the ones you do get are legit.

After multiple tests, it has been proven that meetmyage.com is fraudulent. They will deny it in their responses which are essentially scripted responses that repeat themselves for different complaints. Upon sending a chat message to a potential "match," when you receive a paragraph long response the very same instant you submit your message, you know it's automated. The site uses AI for this. The people shown in your local town do not actually exist. You can confirm this for yourself by checking out other dating sites, as you won't find any of the same profiles as you normally would (many people subscribe to multiple services). The site should be investigated, though they are seemingly protected by a loophole being in another country.
You will notice that, in their response below, they claim to monitor the activity of members. However, they will not acknowledge the INSTANT automated messages sent to the sender. A member would not be capable of this behavior. Automated responses can only occur if the website is programmed to do that. The Meet My Age site is programmed to do that. Attached is an example. The final paragraph is a response shown to be written "a few seconds ago" which was transmitted at exactly the same time the message prior to it was sent. No human can read such a message, think of a response, and type (or voice text) one that long in a split second. Furthermore, the content of the response is consistent with what one would expect from an AI response generator. It seems that these "people" you send chat messages to are always there to respond (how likely is that?).
That said, no, I do NOT have the wrong impression of the site. As a matter of fact, I have a VERY ACCURATE impression of the site. The fact that meetmyage.com has 1.6 stars on this review site (and others) speaks for itself. To the Meet My Age staff: you might think you are clever, but there are people who see right through your unethical tactics.

I joined because I was getting a lot of messages I couldn't answer without joining. As soon as I joined I could see a pattern. They'd send you a pre-written messages and then it would stop. Then the profile would disappear! Don't waste your money or your time, give these people a hard pass! It's all a big scam!

Joined the site on a 99 Cent free trial. I scrolled up on my phone and next thing I get a notification I was just charged $69.99. Contacted them immediately they first offered me a 50% REFUND I declined it. They then offered by 75% REFUND I declined that as well. Issued a dispute with PayPal. Do NOT join this site! BEWARE this is an unethical business and a money grab. I don't even think most of the profiles are even real in my opinion.

You will get inundated with interested profiles and at first you think wow this is great. But then when you try to have a conversation with them you realize it's a robot or a best somebody selecting pre-designed responses. Ask them for lunch and they all give you a very similar response. It's a total scam.

A complete scam. Some of the problems.
1. The 'ladies' will not meet, despite their declarations of interest, or move offsite. They offer the lamest excuses, like having to work or do chores. (Chores?), they are not ready, or no reason at all, they just can't meet. Some of these daily, or even multiple times a day, chats went for over a month, yet they just weren't ready to meet.
2. Site definitely has bots. When 2-3 ladies come online at the same time and ask exactly the same questions, is that a coincidence? Language is also clearly not conversational, more like an interview.
3. Potentially multiple users on each profile as conversations would completely change, part way through, just as if you were talking to a completely new person. I confronted one lady and she didn't deny or refute it in any way.
4. Then there's several ladies I caught out lying about their location. Absolutely no remorse at being caught out, they would neither deny it or admit it, but claimed they were keeping the mystery going. Reporting them was a waste of time as nothing was found to be wrong with the profiles.
5. The site will freeze randomly, messages sent to ladies not being received. Chatting daily to multiple ladies, then suddenly nothing for 2-3 days. Initially the management denied it, but I proved it was happening. Eventually they would just reset my account and, voila, communication was back to normal
6. I told the ladies I was cancelling and that we would need to continue by email or googlechat. Not one taker, yet several tried to get me to renew my registration.

Full of bots and fake profiles to keep you interested, pretty easy to see after a couple days. Scripted responses and using same lines over and over. Why do you think they charge so much? Have to pay all the fake people engaged in your chats. Nobody wants to meet and no profile pics are local, background pics are all from different countries. Might be believable if some pics had local backgrounds I recognize, does everyone use pics from a trip as their profile?
