I have been a customer for about 20 years, and have had nothing but great experiences with MDG staff and products. And with their payment plans they make it so very easy. Truly one of the finer businesses out there.
Careless driver with MDG trucking, LLC cab and a rental 3892348. 4/11/24 in Florida ran family off road. Reckless, careless. Should be arrested.
I can already tell cancelling isn't going to be an easy process. It's going take at least 4 weeks before my order even ships. I decided I didn't want to wait that long. And so far all I'm getting is the run around. They don't tell you the process until after you've signed everything and given them your information. I'm predicting a long battle ahead of me
The rates they use are some of the worse period 40+%. They add surcharges for everything on top of the 40%.
There response is to pay faster to save on the interest.it's not that there is interest it's the stupid amount. My bookie takes 35% on loans -.-
E.g 1700+tax laptop / total paid to them for 5386!
That is upsurd and crazy to think about they also do not listen when you ask them to differ a payment or switch banking information to use due to theft.
Do not use them if you can help it.

My order came from Amazon and was an off-brand that had I have ordered from Amazon directly would have cost less than half as much. I have been a long term mdg customer, but wont be using them again. If I wanted a crappy amazon product I would have ordered it from amazon.

I have been purchasing through them for years, I just got a bed and the rep told me the damage was most likely due to shipping but there is nothing that they can do about it because it was not noticed within 30 days...who is looking a bed all day? Wont be ordering from them anymore

Ordered my product, got shipping confirmation next day but every time I check UPS website it still says waiting for product on there webpage it says to wait 24-48 hours for it to update and I have and they still have not received my package
The overall time it takes to actually receive your item is far to long between proessesing and shipping it took almost 3 weeks

Lol been approved for almost a year, I tried to buy a TV first, they lost that sale because they just asked for way too much information, ended up buying a 65" Sony at best buy paid cash $ 2300
But they have kept sending texts and emails and calling to use my approval, so I decided to order a $650. Item less than half of what I'm apparently approved for
At the last stage of the online agreement it says we'll take 6 payments before we ship. Lol. I think not if I wanted a layaway service I'd go to best buy or Walmart and pay zero interest, to top it off I offer the deposit in full they have refused it,
The item is overpriced to begin with, and then to ask me to pay them without the item being shipped. I think not..

I had been contemplating over the last few years making a purchase from the MDG website. I recently sent in the necessary documents and ordered a smartphone that I felt was affordable on my budget, and was very happy with the experience at first. Within a few weeks, shortly after transitioning from my previous device it became quite apparent that there was spyware or virus of some kind on the smartphone when I received it. I began to investigate further and noticed that the phone I received is actually a similar but different model then the one I agreed to purchase on the MDG secure webpage. It was a model year older then the one I ordered. Most customers would probably not notice the slight difference, but I did. Imagine ordering iPhone 13 and being sent the iPhone 12...
Initially I reached out to MDG over email, as this is how I had been corresponding with them when I placed the order, to request information about any price match policy they may have, because I discovered that I could of purchased on Amazon for 2 thirds of the price. They even have a similar consignment program that may have actually been more convenient for me under the currebt circumstances. They offered an $80 credit which in reality meant that basically I could order an additional $80 worth of merchandise from their site. It appears that they still expect to be payed the same amount for the device.
While attempting to locate and remove the spyware it became apparent that this was somehow built right in to the framework of the device before being sent to me. There seems to be no option within the settings to disable or remove it and use the device normally. As if the invasion of my privacy was not concerning enough on its own, someone has been using the spyware to steal files and personal/account information,and even putting some disturbing media onto the device in its place to deter me from realizing that a portion of my files had been stolen, and removed.
I started reaching out to MDG over email again regarding this. I explained politely what the issue was and requested that maybe we do an exchange, since I really like the phone, but wouldn't be able to continue to use it because of the security issues.
I was totally surprised by the lack of accountability. First being sent from one employee at one department to another, and then being told that because I accepted the $80 credit for mix up and price match, that I had in turn forfeited any option to exchange. They also noted that I would have had only 30 days after placing the order to exchange it if there's an issue. There was absolutely no evidence that there would be an issue with spyware within the first few weeks. I suspect now that they intentionally had waited to begin meddling until after the 30 day return limit was up. This tells me that MDG was aware that the device was loaded with spyware, when they shipped it to me,but refuses to take any responsibility.
The employees that I have had correspondence with via email also started referring to a "marketplace", and "Sellers" as if the device was bought somewhere else and they just facilitate the deal and offer consignment plans.
I placed the order for the phone off of the MDG website which gives no information about third party seller, spyware, or anything like that. Only once I started to bring issues to their attention they started to imply that it had been bought from somewhere else through them. Once they have you locked in they become extremely hard to deal with and very unprofessional. Not only do I owe them for this device I now have to spend hundreds to replace it yet again.
I will be able to cancel any bi monthly payments, and even keep the device if I choose to, but the device is of little use to myself and I could not in good conscience sell it to unsuspecting buyer, and unfortunately my credit report will likely be affected negatively because of this. It took me years, and alot if work to manage to build what little credit I have. I am very frustrated with the experience dealing with MDG. My family and I are absolutely disgusted with the excuses, lack of accountability, and the fact that they would allow this to happen to one of their customers. I had plans to purchase other items through them over the next couple months, and although i feel very disappointed to have rethink everything, I am so thankful that I did not order smart TV for my bedroom like I originally intended, especially if it has camera.

I would only consider making a purchase from them if it is a last resource, and be very careful saving or inputting any sensitive information onto any device that's been purchased from MDG, or through MDG

The company as a whole is lacking in disclosure. They fail to tell you that even after you receive final approval, your not actually approved. Now comes the verification process, an absolute joke, as they have all of your information and your banking information. This company should be forthcoming with amount of time the whole process is going to take so that the consumer can make and educated decision. Unfortunately I fell into that trap, and as an educated person I have now ruined Christmas for my 12 year old as her present will not be arrive until some undisclosed time AFTER Christmas. This is where I can only blame myself for not reading the reviews and taking taken into consideration that 90 percent of the bad reviews all share the same issues. Sadly Santa will not be coming to my house this year, however, I will be more diligent next year and do my homework before making hasty choices in who I do business with. The unfortunate part of this very distasteful experience is that my sales person Elliot was an absolute pleasure to work with and does not deserve this bad review.

First of all, I had several issues with the computer. I had to activate my Windows 10 copy on the hard drive, then I had to buy a wireless wifi because your system did not include wifi, another thing is there is no camera with the pc, therefore I will have buy one myself and finally there is no sound coming from the pc for some unexplained reasons. I will have to hire a tech specialist to fix the problems.

It's a extremely extensive process in which when you give them what they require they'll ask for something else at the last minute to delay they process a complete waste of time. I bought a Polk Audio surround sound. The price was very good. Lowest I'd seen! So I ordered it. $160 charge for handling! WHAT? Won't buy from MDG again. No interest, we charge it upfront?!

A lot of back and forth. When I finally paid my first payment and awaiting my call back to confirm shipping, I am told my item is no longer available. I ask when it will be back in stock? I am told they do not know and for me to check the site daily and if it pops up let them know. Really? Not very customer centric and you have to do alot of price verification. Prices change and they don't tell you unless you check on it and call them out on it.
Happy with products but multiple pricing issues on their part caused my order to be delayed. Also realize they do not report payments to any credit reporting agencies.
