Tasteless

Disgusting! Smaller portions for HIGHER prices. Killed the taste. No flavour! A sweet Brioche bun on savory beefburgers? Really? REALLY! Less onions, less pickle, less of everything making meals tasteless. Might as well eat cardboard. But that Brioche bun is the worst thing they ever added. Why? Because it's shiny? Who knows but just does not go with the beefburger. They had a winner for over 50 years! Why change it when you've had a good thing! Senseless. And so expensive now and for what! Save your money!

They always mix up orders. It's okay when I get some extra fried for free or 9 chicken nuggets except for 6. But I don't like when someone forgets to put what you actually ordered and what you were craving.

I went to the earls court mc Donald's last week. I have been very very sick for 2 days. The same for my kids. The restaurant is dirty, almost never cleaned.
Additionally the service is poor. They forgot many many times a part of the order and when they deliver it is cold... The manager there a woman with long black hairs and glasses is just incapable to run the team... Don't go there!

Inverness City centre branch 5/4/22. Big Tasty x 2. BOTH JUST lettuce and burger. NO onion, tomato, gherkin etc. God knows what happened. BIG tasty a BIG disappointment. Will NEVER visit again even though we're local. Few problems in past with missing ingredients but none ever prompted me to write a review as this. Staff on £11/hour? A joke. No picture taken but should I really need to? No proof of purchase as on-screen ordering machine couldn't supply one. My last visit there ever for our family. Will patronise the new(ish) Burger King from now on. Gone downhill SO much in last 5 years. A shame for such a big organisation.

Disappointed

I am disappointed from the customer services as I ordered for a food and requested to make minor changes but simply got a no from the front end customer services offer. I expected that he should understand me as customers always feel happy if their minor requests are addressed.

Daylight robbery
May 21, 2023

New order system hard to understand and father in law was charged an additional 15 pound for 1 small and 3 medium fries after being u able to order on card machine and paying just under 50 for happy meal and 4 other meals totalling £63 for 3 meals 1 happy meal and some extra nuggets daylight robbery.

My mum and I visited McDonald's cricketers way in Westhoughton 11th if July after eating we were slumps with a parking fine two weeks after through the post! My mum In a wheelchair, so it takes her time to eat and to the wc, we won't be going again, appeals they don't exist it makes no odds, I tried!, This company are greedy! Cashing in on customers parking! Now we are going elsewhere! My mum did like McDonald's but after this,we won't be going ever! Again.

Missing items

A joke ordered 4 chicken burgers box of nuggets a chicken wrap 3 fries and 2 mcflurry got 3 fries 2 mcflurry nothing else phone restaurant they say sent everything driver mut have dilivered to wrong address that's it so had to order something to eat from anoth store and pay delivery charge and service charge at least just eat refunded me for missing items but warning if food not there don't expect McDonald's to help

No Gloves!
April 11, 2022

Visted Newcastle under Lyme McDonald's today for a breakfast meal and was amazed to witness the prepared food was being wrapped by a person who was NOT wearing gloves.
I appreciate that they may have washed their hands, but I believe it is or was common practice to wear gloves when handling other peoples food. Needless to say, I drank my cappuccino and binned the Sausage and egg mcMuffin. Gobsmacked to say the least..

I recently visited a McDonald's in the UK and was extremely disappointed with the experience. The food was overcooked and lacked flavor, and the service was slow and unaccommodating. It was a far cry from the high-quality, fast service that I have come to expect from McDonald's in the USA. In the US, the food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff are friendly and efficient. It's no wonder that McDonald's is such a beloved and popular fast food chain in the US – they consistently deliver an enjoyable dining experience. In contrast, my experience at the UK McDonald's left a lot to be desired and I would not recommend it to others.

We ordered using mcdelivery we ordered 20 chicken nuggets, 2 large fries, two medium cokes, and two mcflurries and some condiments. Everything was lovely until we realised that we only got 16 chicken nuggets when we were supposed to get 20! We are so distraught by the loss of our 4 scrumptious, mouth watering chicken nuggets! We are so moved about this act of discouragement. We are depressed about our losing of the 4 lovely, delicious, scrumdiliumptious chicken nuggies. Please give us the strength to move forward or give us our chicken nuggets. Ps. I want my 10p worth of 4 chicken nuggets back. Rip off!

Not the best Mcdonald's I've visited. I was in that neighbourhood and wanted to grab something to eat. I went to well-known and recognisable branded places but was slightly disappointed there.

I've used the Strand Rd McDonald's in Derry City numerous times in the past, but will never, ever darken their door (or drive thru window) again, and if my wife ever does, I'll divorce her (lol).
Time after time after time, I've gotten wrong orders, missing items cold food, poor service, staff with limited knowledge and less concerns about customer satisfaction.
The last time I used the drive thru, I had to get out of my car twice for items missed in my order and to advise that items I did get, had wrong ingredients upon them. My food was literally soaked with rain as it was so heavy, but my food wasn't ready, so I had to park and wait under the elements (not in shelter). By the time I'd returned home, the food was cold and wet, to the point my family and I couldn't eat it. I asked to speak to manager at the restaurant while there, but was told they weren't available. I phoned for 10 minutes solid (re-ringing when I was cut off) but got no reply
Please do yourself a favour, stay away from this site!

THREE TIMES IN A ROW HAVE ORDERED NUGGETS WITH A DIP THROUGH UBER AND EVERY SINGLE TIME... EVERY TIME NO DIPS... THE STAFF
DO NOT CHECK THE ORDER BUT BLAME UBER... A DELIVERY COMPANY... WE ARE FUMING... 3 MISTAKES AND NO DIPS IN A ROW IS INCOMPITANCE AND COMPLETE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IN A ROW... The food... Mc Donald's used to have really tasty food, but they've gone down hill over the years. Burgers are smaller and the quality of the beef is poor. The burgers are dry, overcooked and thin. This isn't just a particular McDonald's. This is everywhere. About the only thing that is still edible is the sausage, egg and cheese bagel. It's hasn't changed much, other than using what tastes like powdered eggs now.
Cleanliness? Or the lack thereof... Imagine this... You go to McDonalds in the southwest of the UK just before the lockdown. Not one employee is wearing a mask or gloves. Whilst standing in line, I witnessed an employee scratch her face, then reach in and grab a hamburger bun with that same bare hand. This wouldn't be acceptable during normal times, but even less so during Covid times! When I asked about why there were no gloves or facemasks, I was told it was OK because employees are required to ash their hands every 20 minutes... Really? But they can touch their face and nose then handle someone's food? That was the last time I visited McDonald's... and it will remain the last time until better cleanliness standards are enforced.

Edit: McDonald's has discontinued the sausage egg and cheese bagel in the UK. Now there is absolutely no reason for me to visit McDonald's. The sausage egg and cheese bagel was the ONLY reason I went to McDonald's
Edit: So now when you order something to eat in, you are given your order in a takeaway bag. No napkins, no tray, nothing else. They throw your bits into a bag and leave it on the counter for you to collect. Also, they have this terrible problem with overcooking everything. Sausage patty is BLACK and crunchy. The muffin is also dark and overcooked. The egg is crispy on the bottom and is rubbery. When I complained, I was told it's supposed to be like that? Go to Tim Horton's and look at their sandwiches. McDonald's could learn loads about how to cook things.
