Total scam
July 8, 2022

On Feb. 23rd; 2022 I ordered 4 tires that cost $735.27. On Feb. 24th; 2022 MBenzgram took the $735.27 from my account. I found this odd because usually I don't get charged until my items are shipped? After 2 weeks I called to check on my order. I was told that the tires were on back order and MBENZGRAM gave me a new date to expect the order. After 4 different times of being told that the tires are on back order On April 29th I canceled my order and asked for my $735.27 to be refunded. I was originally told 7 to 10 business days for refund. On 12th business day I called back and was told that an "Escalation ticket " was sent to the supervisor and to allow 1 to 2 business days for refund. After the 3rd business day I was told that the accounting department was out due to Covid-19 and I would have to wait until Monday. Now I'm having troubles calling MBENZGRAM so I sent an email. MBENZGRAM responded with they are processing my refund. I tried to tell my bank but they say they can't do anything for me because I agreed to the charges from MBENZGRAM. I checked for lawsuits against MBENZGRAM and found others that are going through the same problems that I am. Before you buy from MBENZGRAM please check with the Better Business Bureau. Also check for "lawsuits against MBENZGRAM "

Tip for consumers:

Check with the Better Business Bureau and look up “lawsuits against MBENZGRAM “ before you buy.

They're a scam site who floods review sites with fake reviews
July 5, 2022

If you really need to save that 10% on your order, be ready to call them daily to make sure they are actually going to send your parts. Also understand your credit card's grace period for filing claims. They're a direct shipper and pretend to have a warehouse so when you don't receive a shipping update one of the parts will magically be out of stock. I read all the reviews and forum posts about them before ordering and decided to order a few parts which I didn't need asap. I checked everywhere to make sure they were in stock and I couldn't find a single retailer where they were out of stock. Both items could be ordered directly from the manufacturer and were in stock there.

I was prepared to call after reading all the bad reviews of ignored emails and products not arriving. After 5 business days of no shipping update I called and the excuse was "X part is out of stock and won't be in stock for ~10 days". I asked to cancel that item and ship everything else which was in stock. I received an amended order email showing the correct total. Being 2022 a reasonable assumption is they would refund the price of the item I cancelled since they billed for the whole order a few hours after I placed it. This would prove to be incorrect.

On Monday after receiving a shipping notice for the in stock items I called to check on the refund. I was told it is in process and I'll receive it by Friday. Friday comes and nothing shows. I figured I'd wait until Tuesday the following week just in case. Nothing. I ended up fairly busy the rest of the week and wasn't able to call again until Monday, over two weeks from the amended ship date.

This time the person says they need to ask their manager to release the funds... What the **** are you talking about! You billed me for something you never sent and you have to get someone else's permission to give me back my money two weeks after you said the refund was in process?

Additionally, the return address they give is not real. It's a number in between addresses for some auto collision and tire shop in CA.

Finally, the five star reviews you're reading here are likely from fake accounts or their friends. I will never order from them again. The part which was "out of stock" I ordered that afternoon from Summit and had it the next day. I did receive the other parts, but it was quite a hassle and I have no doubt in my mind they would not have shipped anything had I not called them multiple times. Same with the refund, like some of the other reviews you've read here where people waited too long and lost their money.

They spend more time creating fake accounts and posting fake reviews than shipping products. Try reverse images searching some of the car pics posted in their reviews... you'll find many on google. They also ask you to send a pic of your car which is another way they can post fake reviews and make them appear genuine. I'm sure they'll read this review, wise up, and start posting pics they take at car events. One of the other review sites has 400 reviews, curiously they're all from Feb through May 2022... Somehow they've got stickers on an actual race car, though they're all privately funded so anyone can find a team and throw sponsor money at them. Read up on Rich Energy if you want to see how far a scam like that can go. Also, all of those pictures are from a short time period last year and if you look up the race team there are no MBG stickers visible on the current 2022 vehicles.

I haven't figured out exactly how their scam works, but it definitely involves billing you and not shipping parts/not refunding your money.

Tip for consumers:

Nothing is free, this company will take up a good 2hrs of your time on hold trying to get a refund for parts they didn't ship after spending time on the phone just trying to get them to ship your parts to begin with.

Is This Even A Legit Website?
April 10, 2022

I ordered two Holley LFRB135 headlights on 12/25/2021, and my credit card was charged then. As of 3/10/2022, not only had they not shipped, I was told that the parts were "still on special order nationwide", and "and your [sic] on the list due to ship in 2-3 weeks". Then I checked; the headlights were in stock at Holley, Summit Racing, Jegs, and other sellers. So I asked "why 2-3 more weeks?", and the answer was "we can't control that" - which does not answer the question. I cancelled my order and wrote a review here.

Within minutes, my phone started ringing. In the span of 8 minutes, they called me 9 times, seven from *******797, then twice from *******373. The 20-minute "conversation" that happened when I answered was quite remarkable. "Unprofessional" doesn't even come close; it was threatening, profane, and 100% unapologetic. Specifically, the guy said he had my address, that he was going to "put Legal on me", and that bad things were going to happen to me (several times). He also called me an a**h***; in fairness, I called him a p**** after the second time I asked for his name and he still would not identify himself. (It was 15 minutes into the call and I was not a happy camper.) He said they would come after me for "slander" and "defamation". I challenged him - repeatedly - to tell me even one word that I had written that was false, and he had nothing except claiming (inaccurately) that I said it was a scam website. He also said that I was "putting 50 people out of a job". I don't have that kind of power; I share my own experiences - accurately - to help inform others. Period. And I WILL NOT be intimidated out of doing so.

At this point, I have received a full refund, and I thank MBenzGram for that. However, it's not proof of legitimacy, as Mr. I-Won't-Indentify-Myself seemed to think it was.
FACT: Bernie Madoff would cheerfully give you your money at any time - until his Ponzi scheme ended.
FACT: The "God Wants You To Roll" guys would quickly give you a refund if you asked.
FACT: Classic Industries, a legitimate parts website, does not charge you for back-ordered items until they ship.
FACT: ScamAdviser.com gives mbenzgram.com a Trustscore of 36 out of 100.

I do not want to put 50 people out of a job. I do not want to hurt legitimate small businesses. But anybody who had my experience would have to wonder. I can prove everything I have written, even about the call, which I recorded. So, MBenzGram, let's see if you will carry out your threat to go after me legally. You will end up paying your legal fees, my legal fees, and a big bill for harrassing me. Will you also go after the other reviewers who described similar experiences? And ScamAdviser.com? And other similar sites? Will you take on the whole world?
