Love my dress omg. Ever turn it's a different color. It is a jewel for no jewelry is need. This dress came up as a club dress will see how it holds up at Club Liv in Miami in November.
It took 2 1/2 MONTHS and an email to customer service asking where my item was before I finally got. When I did finally receive it, the stench was horrendous, like it had been sitting in a mildew infested basement for years. I was extremely disappointed to see the dress wasn't going to fit at all how they depicted on their website. The quality is also that of a Halloween costume from Family Dollar. I have attached photos of what I ordered vs what I got.
So far, I ordered on February 2nd and my order is still "processing" as of today February 8th? I too fell for the express shipping and now realize that was a mistake. I will update my review when the product arrives! I have ordered from other sights that are similar and had absolutely great results many many times! I do not want any one to have a bad experience so I will definitely let everyone know my result with this company!
My dress was as expected, however, it took 2 months to get to me. If you have the time to wait then this could be a good option. It is coming from China. I do feel like the quality was what I paid for.
The dress I ordered didn't look exactly like the dress in the photo but it was similar and it was still a pretty dress. The big problem was that the dress I received had stains on it! The return policy states customers are responsible for shipping fee. So I have to pay to return their mess up?... to CHINA! HOWEVER, I sent an email and the customer service was nice. I had the dress cleaned and the stains came out. Customer service gave me a refund for the extra expense.
I just ordered a dress... knowing the bad reviews but seen some good ones too. I bought off one of these sites before and got a great dress before. Knowing my chances I went ahead with the order. I measured myself by the sizing chart given... DOES MAYKOOL ATLEAST STICK TO THE MEASUREMENTS THAT THEY GIVE UNDER THEIR SIZES?
I ordered a dress for a wedding and got an XL. The shipping to a total of 10 days which is within the alloted 20 day shipping period. I was a little leary of ordering from China but wanted to give it a shot. The Dress is very cute but made of cheap material and is definitely made for junior sizes ONLY! Not for the busty woman. I have to wear a cami to cover the bust area. It fits enough so I will not be returning.
I actually didn't experience too much of a problem, really. After reading some other reviews, I was terrified to receive my dress. It actually wasn't bad. The material was different than I thought it was going to be and it fit a little smaller (because I ordered a small) but other than that, I don't have an issue. Although, the material is different from what I thought, it doesn't seem to be made cheaply. It also took a bit to get here, but I also chose the 'up to 20 day option'. It really only took about a week to a week 1/2 to get to me, so I guess that's pretty normal! It looks really pretty on, I just wish it was larger, which was totally my fault, not MayKool's. Regardless, I am happy with the results! Kicking myself for not getting a larger size though!
Tip for consumers:
I would order a size up if you feel you are worried it won't fit. I am not going to return the dress for a larger size for two reasons. The first, I am trying to lose weight for my wedding and once that is done, I believe that dress will look gorgeous on. The second is that I've read some horror stories about returning items back to this site. I'd rather keep a dress that's a tad too tiny then risk paying the money I did, to send the dress in and not receive a new dress back (or it be the wrong
I have been searching sites to find an outfit for my birthday, and thank goodness I have sense enough to read reviews before purchasing. They have a few good reviews, but enough bad one's for me to know that I won't spend my hard earned money to get scammed! Thanks for the reviews ladies.
