I ordered $900 in winter coats. The order was inexplicably cancelled without warning citing AVS mismatch. The moment I received the cancellation email I called to reorder all the items with the SAME Cc and SAME addresses as there was no issue and I knew it. The $79.99 s13 puffer coat I purchased was GONE in my size and relisted to $199.99! The phone rep was equally appalled for me and asked management if I could get the next size down in the price I paid (that I doubt will fit) and management said "no". Which means, marshalls.com is TRAINED to extort customers for more money who had their orders cancelled due to no fault of their own if they want to replace an item for the same price they already purchased it for! The rep went above and beyond and issued a refund herself... but Marshalls.com continued waste hours of my time and circulate hundreds of my dollars for the weeks afterward. Days later after the second order is paid for by my CC and all should be good to go... they cancel the second most hard to replace item... a teal leather puffer vest in L, stating it is not available in that size! I again go online to reorder this item and check on the long puffer coat I had to order in a M to replace the L they cancelled in the first order and see that a L is now available (argh!) so I call and tell the reps this entire situation - saying I now have to buy the leather vest in XL and hope it runs small and need to rebuy the first long puffer coat in L for $79.99 to replace what was taken back by Marshalls for no reason. The rep double checks that the item is available like it CLEARLY shows on the website - and says it is not! I'm enraged. Marshalls.com is selling items that are not available in stock, cancelling orders, then making customers repurchase the same items at 150% higher price. This is FRAUD. I ordered this puffer coat again, the vest again, and I paid full price- and I am awaiting managements phone call because I have made it very clear if I don't get the coat listed online for the price I bought it for - the Attorney General will have a complaint filed by the end of the day. This is the THIRD order they would have pulled this bait and switch and the Attorney General will not take kindly to it- as it is ILLEGAL. I know this because I'm a nationwide business owner myself. For shame, Marshalls!
My husband and I went shopping late Sunday evening at Marshall's we weren't in the store no more than 10 minutes he was shopping for clothes for work one of the sales associates in the men's section I noticed kept following us around. We didn't say nothing at first then then we moved to the other side of the store and we noticed that the gentleman was still. Following us
He wasn't asking us if we needed any help he was being rude and arrogant standing right next to my husband myself and my two-year-old as we look to the racks the shop
My husband became annoyed and clearly asked the man if he needed some help or if he could step back and give 6 feet we have a two-year-old the man totally ignored my husband and continue to follow us around the store we asked him to leave us alone and he did not not an answer not a movement just continue to follow us around the store
I asked for a manager at this point the behavior of the sales associate was so. Atrocious
Not only is there never anybody around when you need them but when I finally got to a manager she did absolutely nothing about it she basically looked at me because I was yelling like just calm down and shrugged it off never went to the man to say anything never said she was sorry for the inconvenience or the inappropriate behavior of her sales associate
As my husband and I answered the line I see the man staring at my stroller I had no items underneath my basket all were on my handlebars so we paid $150 later the manager leans over my register and check the price of how much we spent I don't know where they conduct business like this but I will never go back there or refer anybody there again I've been a Marshall shopper since I am 16 years old
Are used to work for the company myself so I know how you're supposed to act appropriatel shave in the store shameful on the manager shameful on the sales associate
