Blue Prairie Kennels in Eastern Oregon (Milton Freewater) sold me a puppy with severe giardia. It has been over 4 months now and we're still battling it. I contacted Michael Schock to alert him and he said, "I'll have to look into it." He didn't seem to care. I believe he has unsanitary conditions for the puppies, especially suspect that we couldn't see the area they are kept. Do not buy from this breeder.

Bought an akc registered puppy from Betty Bradbury on this site. We picked up puppy in July 2023. She collected $35 in addition to cost of puppy and said she would take care of akc papers.

It is now going into November and still no papers. I contacted AKC but no response from them or the breeder.
The contract states she will file paperwork for papers but AKC said they have no record as of September of this year.
I do not recommend buying from this site. I'm very disappointed in AKC for allowing these type breeders to advertise on their site.

I was looking for a specific color and coat of miniature dachshunds and came across Betsy Barnson of Wildwood Primo in San Mateo, CA. She immediately wanted $500 deposit for "first pick" but she didn't come through after almost a year for the color and coat preference of different litters from her dogs. I told her I was looking elsewhere and needed my deposit returned. I did find 2 pups to adopt. She bad mouthed the breeder I used calling her a puppy mill since she and her judge friend never heard of them and refused my request to return my deposit. She advertised free vet check which is actually from AKC, not her. She tries to scam "freebies" that are actually offered through AKC.

Jon was an amazing breeder. He helped us get ready for our beagle puppy. He walked us through of how to prepare for the puppy, and how much it costed which was a very reasonable price. He never asked for more money and was very patient. Since the airline were closed due to the virus Jon still found a way to get our puppy to us. This experience was the best. He gave us a happy and healthy puppy.

Pomeranian AKC Breeder
October 17, 2018

Glenna is a wonderful Pomeranian breeder. We bought our 3rd Pomeranian from her in 2007, that was 11 years ago. Our Pom, Bambi was the most beautiful Pom looks as good if not better than the $4000 Grand Champion bloodlines I see today. She had a great temperament, and in all honesty after she passed, I thought I would have to pay that much to get anything near the beauty of our beloved Bambi. I searched Kennels and breeders for my state and all surrounding states and even started searching the states following the surrounding states looking at all the sires and dames to get an idea of what that cute fluff-ball puppy they were selling for that kind of price would look like as an adult. I was not impressed, and decided to see if one breeder we found, also named Glenna was the same breeder we bought our Bambi from. We scored! After 11 years, we found our breeder and purchased a precious bundle of fluff. We have had him 3 days, hes already fetching, and bonding with us very well. We look forward to purchasing our next Pomeranian possibly next year from Glenna, we dont want to purchase from anyone else!
