Lume Deodorant

I purchased this product in the hopes that as a female who has a very physical outdoor job, that this would work for me! I applied the product as the TV commercial states and I found that in the areas specified "Pits, under boob, thigh folds, and butt Crack, I actually produced 10X more sweat than with a $2 Walmart suave deodorant! Maybe Lume should expand their focus/experiment group to add us ladies who have outdoor jobs such as road workers and letter carriers! Just my opinion!

Lume deoderant stinks, literally! I'm returning it. $14.99 for a stinky smell to cover up a stinky smell, NO WAY! Fire the marketing dept.! What were they thinking!?!

I ordered the male version of the Lume products, called Mando. My first thought was that the Bourbon Leather deodorant and body cream smelled okay. So I used them for two days and became disappointed with the products! The products DID NOT control my body order for 72 hours! It didn't even last 10 hours! The Native brand that I had been using before this experience, holds me for hours longer, for less money! I had so much hope for these products because of what the comedian Kevin Hart said about them. Needless to say, I will not be using their products anymore, nor would I recommend them to my friends!

Please please get these commercials off the air. This woman who is the Dr who no longer owns the company is absolutely disgusting. She must smell.awful. I find these commercials literally offensive. Also you cannot order that FREE sample box because there's a problem with this company. So I really wish you would remove these TV ads. This Free offer is a BAIT and Switch. This lady is gross! Please remove them from the television! I would rate a zero star but I cannot. The way this woman speaks about smells on your body well I'm assuming she created this line for herself. And how she demonstrates on how and where to use it. It's just anabsolutely disgusting ad and wish I could never see this TV ad ever again!

I am a light sweat person and Lume didn't make it through the day. For the price it should at least last all day, I had to apply half way through my day. A totally inconvenient product. Not to mention the wait time to get it shipped. Save your time and money!

The claims of 72 hour odor control are completely exaggerated and incorrect. Additionally, when you apply it, the way they recommended, the product starts flaking and damage is clothing if you're wearing it over the deodorized area. I ordered it on Amazon, and when I tried to return it, I was told that the window for the returns was closed, and the company would not do anything, even as an exception, to take the product back because of its defects. Totally a fake and I would not recommend it. Having to throw away the product that I purchased because of the companies disregard for customer concerns.

Fake product developed by a fake doctor to fulfill a fake need. Soap and water is cheaper, does not clog pores, and doesn't fund that obnoxious "doctor".

We ordered a while back. I hate to be so crude but this stuff smelled like a combo of stinky butt and vomit mixed together. I threw it away after a day. How could a company sell something so stinky and expect it to cover up body odor. It's worse than body odor!

The worst stuff price is not worth it price us to high, commercial is gross I have to change the channels so we don't have to see that lady do gross things, don't want to log in i don't want to be bug. Regarding your stuff doesn't work

I wanted to try Lume so I bought it at Target. I tried it, the toasted coconut solid. I tried it on my underarms and under my breasts. By the second day I had big, red rash on my body where I had used Lume. It was itchy and hurt where skin touched.
I have not been allergic to any products in the past. I am out the $15 I paid.
The rash is slowly going away. Picture attached is when I first broke out

I purchase of tube of silver something I can't remember exactly the name but it didn't really do much at all. Then I purchased the wipes I like the smell of them but they sure do not do anything for the smell for even 24 hours

I thoroughly disappointed in this product and the hyperclaiming of "72 hrs of protection". Not only did it not work for me, it made me smell awful in the process. I faithfully tried all the tips and tricks and still had a terrible result. I wish I could get back those few months where I was self conscious about going near family and friends while using this product. I tried all three and am very disappointed in the product and the company. Wouldn't wish this stench on anyone. Rock crystal is a fraction of the cost and works much better!

I started using Lume about two months ago. I would apply it after my shower and it seemed to do the trick until I noticed that the next day my arm pits had an extremely bad odor. It was like nothing I had ever smelled on my person before. I was beginning to think that something was seriously wrong with my health as it completely changed my persona,for lack of a better word. It dawned on me that it might be from the deodorant so I switched back to my previous brand and the awful smell was gone. I believe that it somehow changes your body chemistry. Needless to say, I threw away the three bottles that I had on hand.

First of all lume makes it impossible to leave a review on their site if you return, hence their ratings are skewed. I used the body cream for weeks on my pits and it is no more effective then generic deodorant. I stay fresh for maybe 12-24 hrs post shower assuming I don't sweat, which is normal for my original deodorant. 72 hour claim is a joke. Lume is NOT even effective on reapplication between showers. But the worst con is that the scents are TERRIBLE. I'm not sensitive to smells but all 6 scents I tried were gross. The 3 scents I tried by Mando were the worst. Like knock off AXE but sour. The base formula has this sour smell which mixes with the perfume they add and the end result is horrible across the board. Everything has this sour edge. I cant tell if I'm smelling BO or if its just the perfume wearing off and I'm smelling the sour note they tried to mask. My favorite deodorant is arm and hammer rosemary sage, bc it smells amazing, the only reason I strayed is bc the baking soda bleaches cotton shirts. So lume is no better than generic and it reeks. Their site and marketing scheme is also gimmicky and dishonest.

I tried Lume deorderant a few months ago and both underarms broke out in rash and itching. I decided that I'd give it another try a couple of days ago and the same thing happened. I've uses many, many different deorderants in my lifetime and this is the first time I've ever experienced this reaction to a deodorant.

I have tried scented and unscented. Either way it smells awful. Also, it doesn't even last 24 hours, let alone 72 hours. I think the product is terrible and I will not use it again.
Too much hype, and not enough substance.

Omg I can't use it, it burn my skin so bad that I can't use any other deodorant, I try other Sents and it does the same thing, My under arm pits can't heal it hurt and it itch too I'm going to see a Dr. regarding this horrible issue I told lume and all they say change shaving blade but it doesn't have to do with blade is the product itself that burns me bad. If it get worse I'll take legal action against them

I heard all these great reviews and wish I looked into a bit more. First off it didnt really work well like if you sweat and i kept noticing it wouldn't help with the bo like antiperspirant would, Then I started getting irritated from it. I wouldn't recommend this to someone that has sensitive skin. I just feel like wasted my money for this product. I actually give no stars if I could. Just do research first.
