"Special deal popped up with a timer and a phone number to call. Person quoted a much higher rate than was shown in pop-up. Told me fair was unavailable at the price shown in the pop-up. Basically wasted my precious time with my great grandparents."
There is a lot of your competition that runs scams with very low airfare. After you book (and it says pending) within 5-15 min they email and call you saying "oh I'm sorry that airfare cost is t available. It's $200 more now".
I always use lookbyfare if my airfare first since they don't do that scam nonsense. Keep it up since I travel 8 times a year as well as my husband.

Very good and very fast confirmation for my book flight
I booked my flight and paid for it and then 1 hour after someone from Lookbyfare called me telling me I can't get my flight for the price I have already paid, I had to negotiate $200 again with them to keep my flight. Very disappointed
We were stuck at the airport with no flight since our flight was canceled and none of the airlines had any openings but when I went on the look by fare site they happened to have three seats for us to our destination. We were able to make our trip! It was seamless.

I received a call saying your confirmation does not guarantee a ticket. Apparently I get to pay more now going through your "discount" site than I would've if I'd gone straight to Delta.
